  1. HAHA! I was thinking the same thing except with the Colts instead of the Patriots.
  2. Look at JP and Eli both through 15 starts (I did it in an earlier page) ... Eli' has much better stats. Ok. Good deal.
  3. That has nothing to do with being the best back in the NFL ... did you choose to ignore my entire long post?: Look above.
  4. I understand your point about Holmes. You entitled to your opinion. Just like we all are. P.S. Turner is a back that absorbs a lot of yards that Tomlinson would be getting. As it is, LT is barely behind Barber ... Turner had over 300+ yards last year and 3 TD's. Jacobs has barely 300 yards in TWO SEASONS. But hey if you want to give Barber the TD's Jacobs took away then fine ... but he is still WAY far away in the TD race. also ... their is a reason why Tiki isnt the one getting the touches at the goal. *fumble, fumble, fumble* ... they didnt just decide to give Jacobs the ball for no reason. His numbers actually show he is only leading in 1 category ... rushing yards .. and by a VERY SLIM margin.
  5. Agreed. What is that even called? Techno hippy or something? I just cant put a description with them.
  6. Not to mention that the Sabres *might* , just *might* be a little fired up over the chance of getting the record. I wouldnt be suprised to see a 2-3 goal victory.
  7. No I think he is just saying that when you are on a long road trip, losing 2 straight and playing the best team in the league, it doesnt seem like you have much of a chance.
  8. Thats the luxury you have when your (arguably) the best RB of all time (barry Sanders).
  9. Tiki Barber (last 3 years): 4594 rush yards, 24 TD's 4.8 YPC 175 receptions for 1,569 rec yards for 5 TD's ------------------- If were going to look at Priest Holmes, we have to look at the last 3 years he actually played. In those 3 years he had 4590 rush yards, 56 Touchdowns 4.8 YPC 206 receptions ( ) for 1976 rec yards for 5 TD's 6 fumbles ------------------- Ladanian Tomlinson 4,442 rush yards, 48 Touchdowns 4.5 YPC 204 receptions, for 1,536 rec yards for 7 TD's 11 fumbles ------------------- Shaun Alexander 5,011 yards, 57 Touchdowns 4.8 YPC not a good receiving back 14 fumbles Now lets just go over this because BartinND seems to agree with WhozBack ... Barber (out of this list) is 2nd in rushing yards, 4th in rushing TD's, 3rd in receptions, tied for 3rd in receiving TD's, 1st with the most fumbles, and is tied with all but 1 on this list with a 4.8 YPC What you both were doing is including the 6 games from this year. You cant do that. RB numbers CAN fluctuate HUGE throughout a season .. especially with one of them (Alexander) being hurt. Also. Tiki Barber has more 20+ yard runs than most of them but I see this as somewhat of a good/bad thing. Good that he is getting those long rungs, but bad because they arent going for TD's (he is the lowest in TD's), and it makes his YPC look higher than it should be. He is a 1 yard, 3 yard, 2 yard, 20 yard back. He isnt a consistant 5 yard, 3 yard, 6 yard back like say Tomlinson, who only gets about 7-8 long runs a year. Personally I would say Tomlinson is much more valuable than Barber. Tomlinson has SLIGHTLY lower rushing yards, WAY more TD's, nearly 40 more receptions, 2 more receiving TD's, and 4 less fumbles. Thats my case.
  10. Why is their a constant stick up your butt? I posted I lost money in ONE thread, and this thread I simply wanted to point out that 10+ people polled that we would lose to Atlanta and Atlanta lose to a bad Philly team and the reason I know (in parenthesis) is because I lost money on it. Instead of being a jerk about it, you could simply ignore me ...
  11. Aww man! I totally forgot about them. Great band ... not my favorite ever. But great.
  12. Well 9 of you were wrong ... and Atlanta just lost to Philly (i lost money on that) ...
  13. And I lose a bet because Atlanta loses to Philly in a shootout ... pooey
  14. I think Tomlinson, Priest Holmes, and Shaun Alexander might have something to say about that.
  15. What does that have to do with anything?
  16. Nothing wrong with him ... its just that way have much bigger holes than WR.
  17. Cantakerous is right ... you just cant compare them. JP is not in Eli's league yet. Manning through 16 games and JP through 16 games is a world of difference
  18. AHAHAHA ... nah ... Its Adam Lazzara from taking back sunday ... he is the one holding the flower in the new avatar now.
  19. Before you continue reading please understand that I DO LIKE JP! BUT ... When you watch a Bills game and then watch a Giants game, you will just see something different in ELI than you do in JP. When I watch Eli play its like even though he makes a bad throw you know he is a good QB. You have confidence in him to bounce back. He has that confidence in the pocket and has progressed RAPIDLY. He stays back in the pocket and GETS IT DONE. Period. His stats show this well. You cant argue 13 TD's, and 8 INT's for a 90+ QB rating. His line isnt the best either. They are good run blockers, but often break down when trying to stop the pass rush. Through 6 games Eli is on pace to have about 35 sacks this year. To put that into perspective, Drew Bledsoe through 6 games was on pace to have about 43. Eli also seems to throw the ball away instead of getting sacked. Something JP hasnt mastered yet. People will then begin to say that Losman has only started 15 games ... that means he shouldnt be on Eli's level yet. Well ... through 15 games Eli has 20 TD's, and 14 interceptions. JP? He has 12 Touchdowns and 14 interceptions. As much as I WANT to be a JP homer ... I just cant. Eli is the better QB.
  20. Because it is hard to describe the feeling a sound gives you ... such as it is hard to describe that exact feeling you get when you first go to Disney World or first walk into a Bills game with the fans going nuts and music blasting.
