  1. Oh yeah. Those were the years we made the playoffs ... wait a second. What other teams do that? Oh yeah Colts (perennial playoffs), KC (perennial playoffs), Giants, Panthers (recent SB), Broncos, Ravens, and Falcons .. all around 10 mill or less per season.
  2. P.S. according to TheRedZone most teams have between 10 million - 35 million in free cap space.
  3. Yeah and they *usually* dont let go off quality lineman ... most teams would rather get rid of WR's/skill players who have large cap space (ie: Moulds for us)
  4. It will probably be around 109 mill. About a 7 mill increase.
  5. No its just kinda common sense. I mean of course anything could happen. But its like saying the Chargers may let Ladanian Tomlinson go to free agency ... of course their is a chance once his FA year comes, but it is very unlikely.
  6. Well if people are going to talk about using the money to pick up "quality linemen" I would figure they would want to research what their talking about before they type.
  7. No but the particular FA's available this year and next WILL most likely be re-signed by their teams.
  8. What exactly did he say? Also what was his explanation for the Jets call?
  9. We could give him 7 mill a year and have it only count as 4-5 mill/year on the cap EXACTLY
  10. How can you say that? We have been AT or OVER the salary cap for many years. Now people, PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN SOMETHING. If your one of those who think we should let Nate go so we can use the money to get "quality" lineman then do this. 1. Find what FA's will be available this year and next (NOT RFA's) 2. Find ANY quality lineman that WONT be re-signed by their team 3. Realize that in the next 2 years their will probably only be about 2-3 good lineman to bid for. AND WE ARE PROBABLY NOT A TEAM A PLAYER WANTS TO COME TO! We are a bad team and WE HAVE A HISTORY OF LETTING PLAYERS GO WHEN THEY WANT MORE MONEY! Why would a FA want to go to a team that lets go of every player who wants a pay raise? (Winfield, P. Williams, T. Washington, Moulds, now Clements ... etc) So before you say we could use Clement's money towards other players again, please do the 3 steps above and realize how foolish it sounds.
  11. I love how people keep saying that and dont seem to realize that their wont be any quality offensive/defensive lineman available to sign . Yeah and Tom Brady threw an interception 3 years ago. You know a player is doing decent when someone has to go back 3 years to find a game that they actually lost. Yes. THIS year would be a cap hit for the full ammount. I was talking about when we re-signed him (if we do). Also. It wouldnt cost us 7 million against the cap if it was worked out right ... it could cost us as little as 4-5 mill/year.
  12. You are right ... and you get criticized for it.
  13. I cant say I agree with you, but atleast your explaining your answers. Good job bro.
  14. Oh really? Tell me when he has blown his coverage late in the game?
  15. Sometimes I wish you would. Every topic on Nate Clements you always say "get rid of him" or something like that but give absolutely no reason as to why. I post about 15 points as to why we should keep him and you respond with "get rid of him." No wonder you find your senior year of HS hard. Structure + Signing Bonus lowers what would be a huge salary cap number.
  16. Cool. You and SportsInteraction.com will be owing me some money after this weekend is over
  17. If we have cap problems in a few years after we had 20-23 million in free cap space this year, then our GM has problems. Thats all. Nate Clements 4 mill against the cap is not going to cause any problems. Your really building a reputation for your short answers that have absolutely zero reason behind them.
  18. I dont ge the beef with Flutie for some Bills fans ... what did he do bad here?
  19. Until someone can show me who we are going to pick up with 30 million of free cap space, and very few free agents available this year, I will convinced that you and others have no idea what your talking about. Keep Nate Clements = 20-23 million in free cap space Drop Nate Clements = 27-30 million in free cap space Either way we have tons of room and will end up starting the season with over 10-15 million of free cap space still open.
  20. Is that the head of officials guy? I want to punch him in the face.
  21. What a dumb post. Are you serious? Someone please tkae him off our hands right now? He is the LEAST of our problems and one of the only good players on our team. Let me guess ... your one of the guys who wants us to get rid of every player on our team who is in a contract year and wants to get paid a lot of money ... because we all know their is a plethora of great FA's who want to come to Buffalo and play for half of what he wants.
  22. Now I remember this game ... but I only remember it because of Wade Phillips sending the team to the locker room and I believe Belichick had the Pats go for 2. SMOKINF N JOKIN really needs to read that review from lori and then tell me refs dont !@#$ up games royaly
  23. Would you like to make a wager on who wins? I would love to take your money. $20 on Indi. You up for it?
  24. I guess I dont know much about cable.
