  1. Some interesting bets available: 1. Atlanta -5.5 at Detroit Vick has been on fire the past couple of weeks throwing for 523 yards, 7 TD's and only 2 INTs. The Lions have lost to the Jets, Minnesota, St. Louis, Greenbay, and Chicago all by more than 5 points. 2. Giants -13 home against the Texans On the road this year the Texans have lost by margins of 6, 28, and 19 points. An average of losing by 17.6 points per road game. 3. Chicago -13.5 home to Miami This game almost seems too easy to take. Thats usually bad news for me. . Anyhow. The Bears are beating teams by a margin of 30.5 points at home. ALSO: The 4 teams that Chicago has played at home this season ALL have a better record than Miami. As I said. This game almost seems too easy to take. 4. Chicago/Miami OVER 37.5 I cant understand this. Chicago's last 4 games (over/under). 51 points, 47 points, 47 points, and 43 points. This once again, seems too easy. 4. San Diego -12.5 home to Cleveland The Chargers are winning at home this season by an average margin of 19 points. Not to mention that 2 of those 3 home games were against atleast decent opponents in St. Louis and Pittsburgh. 6. Denver +3 at Pittsburgh *BET OF THE WEEK* Personally for me this is the bet of the week. I could not think of a more guaranteed win that Denver beating Pittsburgh. No doubt they are all fired up from their close loss to Indi. Look for revenge. Now imagine this. A parlay of Atlanta, Giants, Chicago, Chicago/Miami over, San Diego, and Denver would result in a profit of $928 when betting $20. Personally I think $20 is worth a shot at $928. Better chance of you winning this then the lottery with 20 tickets if you ask me. A teaser with the Atlanta (even), Miami/Chicago OVER 31, Chicago (-7.5), San Diego (-6.5), Denver (+9 ), and Giants (-7), would result in a profit of $210 when you bet $30. Just my 2 cents. Good luck everyone.
  2. No one will know for sure until we get closer to free agency. BUT ... we are anywhere between 12 mill and 14 mill under the cap right now. We will also be unloading a ton of cap space that Eric Moulds, Sam Adams, Lawyer Milloy, and other players. That with the fact that the salary cap will be raised by about 7 million or so, we should be around 25 - 30 million under the cap.
  3. You dont know that for SURE ... but I get your point. I think.
  4. You didnt answer my question about him splitting the locker room so Ill ask again. If Tom Brady "split the locker room" like T.O. supposedly does, would you still want him? I would. When did I say Nate wins games for us? Your putting words in my mouth. T.O. delivering some unspectacular performances? 341 receptions, 4847yards, and 47 TD's in his last 57 games. Thats 6 receptions, 85 yards, and .8 TD's a game. AKA 96 receptions for 1360 yards and 13 TD's over the course of a season. Mind you those numbers are with him being double covered and ganged up on many on the plays a game and has had such QB's as Drew Bledsoe, Tony Romo, and Jeff Garcia (what the heck happened to him). BTW: what was Garcia's main WR when he had his only good couple of years? Who is Tony Romo's main WR as he is starting out good? Jee I wish we had more players who have "unspectacular performances" like his. P.S. Its my OPINION. You can have your own opinion your own fantasy (in your mind) team of yours. Mine would include T.O. OPINION!
  5. If Tom Brady was an ass and supposedly "split the lockeroom" would you take him? I would. If he helps you win games, I take the player.
  6. Absolutely! But we all know that wont happen ... so take the great player and tell everyone else to be a professional. T.O. IS AN ASS ... but he is an ass I would put up with, because he can win games.
  7. As dumb as it may sound their are players who probably dont want to play for Buffalo. Believe it or not their are players who would turn down a slightly higher contract to play for a team that has a better chance of getting them a SB ring. AKA T.O. was offered a boatload from the Ravens but didnt want to go. He went to Philly instead because they were ranked high to go to the SB.
  8. Wow. Thats something else. Personally I have always held this stance on TO: 1. Terrel Owens is a great player who can dominate a game, but also opens his mouth to much. 2. I would take him on my team anyway 3. I would tell his teammatest before he came in to just let him talk, not take anything personally, and let him be who he is. T.O. can (and has been an ass) but if the people around him were professionals and just let him do the dumb stuff he does, then their would be no locker room split.
  9. See I dont understand why other people dont understand this concept. They think their are going to be a ton of FA's out their to get. They list 9 good lineman that we could get, not realizing that their is a 98% chance they will re-sign with their team and 2 out of those 9 lineman have only played about 5 games in the past 2 seasons.
  10. WOW! Someone who gets it. We could do everything you mentioned and still have somewhere between 8-12 million left in cap space.
  11. Didnt the other guys on the board tell you? Were going to get rid of Nate Clements and use that money on the plethora of great FA's available everywhere for us to just pick up and let them play.
  12. Bad experience? Always seemed like a nice guy to me. Always heard he was cocky .. but hey .. that goes with the 35,000 + yards and the HOF jacket.
  13. "Im gonna leave you with two words. The final two words this summer. NO GOAL!" I was never so proud of Ruff.
  14. That makes sense to me. We have the msot cap room now and it doesnt seem like their will be many FA's available to grab. Give Clements the most money now and less later when their may be more FA's available to spend $$$ on.
  15. WOOOOOOO!!!! Awesome last 9 minutes of 3rd and Shootout
  16. This team is just too much fun to watch.
  17. I went to an Amerks game last Sunday (buddy won some tickets or something) and the rink really did seem smaller. Any truth to this or am I just wrong?
  18. With the horrid supporting cast around him ... trust me ... he will probably not reach the incentives. And yes, I was actually just going to post that ... give him a big deal and cut him before the last 2 years if you dont still have the tons of cap room we have now. Which is actually what teams like Indi, Denver, KC, Atlanta ... etc who all have little cap room seem to be doing. Notice how many of the NFL's good teams have little to no cap room? Interesting.
  19. You didnt mention any incentives ... including NLTBE Incentives that dont count against the cap
