  1. Yes and that one good season is the one they won the SB. He had a injury/bad season last year and they got blown out in the playoffs. For someone who "owns" Manning, I dont remember Brady EVER playing defense. As I said above. Brady's defense seems to win him half the games. Manning also beat his team by nearly 20 points just last year. OK. So now Manning just has Harrison (1 superstar) on his offense. He has a rookie RB and he is still putting up amazing numbers. I said it before and I will say it again. I DO NOT and WILL NOT judge a player about the ammount of SB's he won. I judge a TEAM by that. Not a player.
  2. If you want to go down the road of stats then Manning is going to blow Brady out of the water. This is what it comes down to. You are either: 1. A GREAT QB who puts up AMAZING stats but cant seem to win the SB or 2. A GOOD QB with GOOD statistics but seems to do well in winning the big game. Manning is of course option 1 and brady option 2
  3. If you say so. Their is something Manning never had. Belichick (best HC in the game) and Charlie Weiss (former best OC in the game). Brady didnt win every game either. His defense won about half of them. Manning = he/offense needs to win pretty much EVERY game they play. Washed up Corey Dillon? The last time the Patriots won the SB, Dillon had nearly 1700 yards that season.
  4. Yeah forget about a great tipped ball play where a DB stops a chance for the Packers best WR to score a 50+ yard Touchdown.
  5. Clements also broke up a long TD try by having a last second tip (I believe it was to Driver) Spikes also almost had a near circus INT
  6. It usually NEVER is. Yet this is pretty obvious. 3 guys got through the line. Thats called your line collapsing.
  7. To be honest I hope Pitt wins but by less than 8 ... that why I win both of my parlays. Of course. He knows everything.
  8. Your day must be pretty cloudy. The line collapsed. Get over it.
  9. Uh. No. Anything past 40 yards you need to angle lower so it goes further. The line collapsed. Period.
  10. A-Train had (I believe) a 19 yard TD against the Patriots in the 1st game of the year.
  11. HAHA they all sucked. Atleast Denver is up by 14 ... I believe a poster above guaranteed Pitt was going to take it too Denver.
  12. Horrid. I was wrong about that. Then again 98% of the football world was wrong about the Bears/Miami
  13. Its funny that you say that considering I agree with most things you say. So I must be right a lot huh? hmm ...
  14. Their are 2 threads on this already.
  15. haha . looking back i cant believe i posted this . it was late .
  16. Right because its his fault the line collapsed?
  17. This is true but I figured that with it being their first game and GB stacking the box ....
  18. Troy Vincent just blocked a FG attempt by Dallas to win the game with under 10 seconds to go.
  19. Miami won because they actually recovered Chicago's turnovers. Grossman threw our DB's the ball about 4 times and we simply did not catch it.
  20. 1. We dont know yet. 3. 5 yards/carry average 3. Good on the run / not so good on the pass
  21. Just a few thoughts: - Get ready to hear about Losman needing to be benched about 10x more than we ever have before - Clements took away 14 points away from the Packers. One TD when he tipped a ball on a streaking Packer WR and another TD when he tipped the ball that Simspon INT'd in the endzone. - Its good to see that we have a very capable RB if McGahee goes out. I am a McGahee fan, but I must admit. A-train ran well. 17 attempts for 84 yards and a TD. Average of about 5 yards/carry. - Brett Favre needs to retire. Not because he totally sucks now ... simply because its sad to see legends tainting a great career by not retiring when they should.
