I havent ... has anyone on this board watched most of their games? If so, what is their story? They have a "smart" QB, but also little to no running game, and the 2nd worse (total) defense in the league. What is their story? They are 5-4 and they also lost a close game to the Colts (31-28). Did a new coach really change them that much?

Completely agreed. I believe it was Theisman (????) who said in the first week at halftime "This team has been playing poorly all year long" ... my buddies and I just looked at myself, then went to the computer and checked to make sure it was actually the 1st week of the season.

Right because the 300 INT's that the Patriot defense got during the playoffs those SB' years didnt help at all. Tuck rule ddnt help either. Brady won the SB's by himself. He didnt have a defense. Oh wait. Thats Manning who doesnt have a defense

It is really amazing how most people on this board believe by getting rid of the few decent players on this team will make us better. Spikes, Fletcher, Clements, Crowell, Tripplet, McGahee .. etc

Let me tell you why your arguement is foolish. Even if Lindell had made a 70 yard kick and put us up by TWO, it wouldnt have mattered! Manning excels at coming back and winning the game. BTW: What did the Colts offense do right after that kick? Drive 60 yards in 6 minutes with little to no difficulty.

haha. your first sentence is what I try to tell people about Brady's SB teams and they dont listen. Although I dont understand the "when defenses figured him out" arguement. Its stupid. Flutie's last 3 games with the Bills he had 640+ yards for 5 TD's and 0 INT's .... his only other real starting season was the next season with the HORRID Chargers and yet he still had 3400 yards and 15 TDs. EDIT: Flutie's overall Chargers stats were around 5,000+ yards, 25 TD's, 22 INT's, 400+ rushing yards, 5 rushing TD's Not too bad considering the bad team they had those years.

His stats are very Losmanesque ... his QB rating is in the high 60's and his completion percentage is in the mid 50's. If thats IT, then I dont want it.

We need to get back to the feel of the good days. Scrap those awful uniforms. Everytime I look at them, I cant help but think of a "sold out" Bills team (similar to a band "selling out" and turning from what they use to do) ... get the red endzones back. Bring back the 90's uniforms. Bring back the white helmets with the Buffalo on the side (or the current helmets - whatever). To be honest I wouldnt even mind seeing the field look the way it use too (of course their is no way of that because of injury possibilites). Anyway. Atleast this way if the team sucks, we can remember the good days through them.
