  1. How about this one "Act like your playing football. Act like your playing a sport you started to play because you loved the fun of it. Stop acting like your wearing a business suit."
  2. Tomlinson averages about 70 receptions per season ... Faulk averaged about 64 receptions per season.
  3. Way to be an ass ... Its Football Night In America
  4. Ok fair enough ... but my man ... any RB who has over 1500 yards, MUST have a decent 0-line. Give it up.
  5. Sorry, I think your lost. The JP Losman sucks thread is a few threads over my man.
  6. Willis would: <sarcasm on> 1. Danced for a while 2. Jumped into the crowd 3. End up crowd surfing 4. Buy a hotdog from a vendor once the crowd let him down 5. Run through the stands with a blowhorn "I am the greatest!" 6. Return to the bench like nothing happened <sarcasm off> What the heck do you think he would have done? He would have done a little dance and if it was in Buffalo he would have done that little leap into the crowd. Big deal.
  7. 98% of the time I would completely agree with you ... but on THIS occasion (the rare 2%, I disagree). I believe we NEED to keep him. This isnt a 2nd or 3rd WR, this isnt a backup RB, this isnt just some random NT ... this is a very good (probaby top 5) defensive back. He doesnt make a ton of INT's, but he shut downs good WR. He shut down Harrison, limited Johnson, shutdown Steve Smith ... etc. I cant even remember the last time he was beat for a long TD. Anyway. All that aside. I believe we really need to keep Clements. Finding good DB's isnt exactly the easiest thing to do. Thats evident by the plethora of teams who have horrid secondaries. We can over-pay for Clements, and STILL have a ton of money THIS year, and for years to come ... especially if we front load the contract. Us overpaying for Clements is not going to be hurting us at all ... probably EVER! If it does then we could ask him to re-do his contract or we could cut him (which wouldnt be needed for probably 3-4 years). Let him train the new DB's on our team and let the rookies/new players talent level rise before we let Nate go. As I said. Usually I would agree with you ... but with nearly 30 million of probable cap-space and not many quality FA's its not going to hurt us to over-pay for Clements. Period.
  8. Even if he did do a lot on his own, the line still only gave up 29 sacks ... which IMO, is stellar. To put that into perspective, so far this year Oakland, Cleveland, Seattle, Buffalo, Detroit, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Miami are already at 28 or higher with SIX games to go!
  9. What is your method of determining a bad offensive line? In 2003 they gave up only 29 sacks (10-11th best in league) ... and their RB had 1600 yards and 13 TD's. So im not sure how you can determine that.
  10. I never said I had a problem with it ... I only said we need to break that concept or rule.
  11. Maybe its just the time periods that we are on at the same time ... I have college between 10am(wake)-3pm and work 4:30-10:00pm ... so Im basically on between 10:30pm - 3am and the short time period between work and school. Sundays are an exception though ... I have the day completely off.
  12. Anyone else bet this week? I was helped with some nice teasing lines ... I will win 3/4 of my parlays as long as the Chargers and Giants dont lose by more than 15 points. Anyone else have luck this weekend?
  13. And what exactly puts you into a position to say that someone else is a moron?
  14. They have near 100 yards and 2 TD's ... thats shutting down?
  15. Barber gets the majority of carries near the goal-line.
  16. Recap: Cowboys now have 98 rushing yards and 2 rushing TD's
  17. I cant tell. Are you a Henry homer or a A-Train homer? I cant tell.
  18. So throw in the rest of our rushing attacks and we still wouldnt get near that ... so basically your saying that those teams #2 RB's are better than our #2 RB?
  19. 1. Are you on drugs? 40,000-50,000? Try about 700 ... and since when does long runs make a good RB? I care more about 1st downs, which at 135 in his first 2 years puts him in the same league as Shaun Alexander. 2. It means the Cowboys now have 85 yards and a TD rushing
