The defense must have been reading their press clippings about how fabulous they are. They really sucked today. Can't stop the run, not even close.
And Tampa has 2 young OGs, so it's not a powerhouse OL by any stretch.
Missed tackles, geez, it looked like a bunch of Coy Wires out there today. Crowell seemed useless as Fletcher's backup.
Special teams sucked today, too. No big returns, crappy punting.
A total team loss. Very disappointing.
They came close (except for final 5 min) to gaining less yardage that last week's pathetic Texans.
And with all those rushing yards (a whole 120 for Carnell), the defense only gave up 14 points in 90 degree heat with being on the field for 38 MINUTES!

I personally do think the Defense is as good as everyone thinks ... actually I think there the best in the league. But when your playing in 90 degree heat for 3/4 of the game, then you will give up points .... and as it is they only gave up 14 points.

Dont remind us ... if GRIESE and a rookie RB did that to us, then imagine what Vick and Dunn could do to us.
Hopefully our defense will play much better at home.
At the very least we lost a non-divisional, non-conference game ... thus it wont effect us if tie-breakers have to come into play like last year.

Seems to me Holcomb WAS a starting QB last year and would have started for the Browns this year if they hadn't of pissed him off. To those slamming the idea -- you're defending something that led directly to 9 points for Tampa Bay. Losman is a newbie. Holcomb a seasoned veteran. With the Bills backed up to the 1-yard line on the road against a top-notch defense, I'd rather have experience out there than a young kid who's been off all game to that point. But hey, I guess I thought the idea was playoffs this year, not needlessly risking games for sake of seasoning our young QB. I'm not calling for a QB controversy, we just should have given JP a breather and calmed him down a little rather than needlessly feeding him to the wolves.
Dude. Listen. If you take JP out of tough situations how is he going to learn? That is just ridiculous.

I agree with Lori. I dont think it is a conditioning problem. Even the best conditioned teams are going to be tired when there on the field so much.

Come on guys. No need to overreact. We have the entire second half, and I believe our coaches can make some nice half-time adjustments.

This is EXACTLY why you are not the coach ... damn good thing too ... you cant take the kid out of every bad situation. How is he going to learn?

Losman looks like crap

Well, in that case I will give you all some information you dont know ...
... I just got a call from my buddy in Buffalo and he says it will be cold for the Buff VS Patriots game in December ..

I disagree slightly with you guys. I LOVE the throwback UNIFORMS, but I also LOVE the Buffalo Bills trademark RED, WHITE AND BLUE helmets with the BIG ole Buffalo on the side ...
Personally I think we should take the throwback uni's with a slightly modified current helmet ...

Try 3 straight posts of wasted space because i posted the wrong use of "their" or "there" or "theyre" ... whatever

That is 100% true ... i have played football for 5 years and it the color of the uniform makes such a miniscule difference that it is hardly noticable. Now the PANTS are a different story. A players legs are always hotter. You have the girdle with the Tailbone, and hip pads ... plus the thigh pads and knee pads and every player is constantly using his legs. I think the white pants may help a lil bit.
Just the fact that the Bills threw it back in Tampa's face was funny in my opinion ...

Hmm, almost a little bittersweet since we're only supposed to wear them twice this season. Means it may be the last time we see them for a year.
On the other hand, I think the NFL just changed it's rules so that teams can wear their alternates up to 3 times per season so maybe we'll sneek them in again later.
It's never been more obvious which uniforms are preferred by fans and players alike. These HAVE TO be our permanent uniforms soon.
It suprises me that much of the league hates them

Many followers are really peeved about last year, as they should be. BUT one thing I do like, Satan is gone. I think it was Briere that said something like, now we can have a T-E-A-M. Satan was all about the STATs and himself. He was the furthest thing from a teamplayer.
To me, that was a huge reason for the strike in the first place, the players wanting to maximize their salaries without having a cap. Of course the owners are no saints either, they just want profits.
The true loosers were the fans. BUT with actions and comments about T-E-A-M work, T-E-A-M play, and T-E-A-M principles, that is a big step in the Sabre's recognition of their fans.
Yes ... and because Satan is gone, we may very well lose many games that he would have won by himself ... I was NOT a Satan supporter (he is a rooster), but you wanna know what - he did win some games

friggin AWESOME way to counter Tampa's bullcrap with trying to avoid the heat by giving the away team the "home" uniform advantage.
Losman is getting quite a bit of blame ...

... and it would be well deserved if he was 2-3 starting player who SHOULD be playing better. Here is my opinion ... take it or leave it. JP was blitzed all day. He was blitzed often and hard. In fact, on many occasions he made something out of nothing. Including on the field goal drive - Bledsoe would have taken that sack - yet Losman escaped the sack and threw it away. On the safety play, he was blitzed immediatly and had 3 choices. One - throw it away, and take a safety by rule of intentional grounding. Two - throw it towards a receiver and risk interception. Three - use your feet and try to make something, anything, happen and risk getting a safety. I personally think he took the best option. He TRYED to make something happen and unfortunately a safety occured. Aha! - I have forgotten to mention, that this was his FIRST road game as a starter. Not only was this his first road game, but it was also his first game against a top 5 defense .... and in 90 degree heat.
I am not quite sure whether the posters are simply posting out of frustration (and without the use of their brain) or if they are actually judging a first year starting QB with such high standards.
