  1. I would be an extremely happy man come season end if this turns out to be true .... extremely happy.
  2. 200 yards a game is optimistic? thats nothing ... by your standards he is only throwing 15 less yards per game
  3. For whatever reason I have never learned it ... what makes one player being cut cost us 1,000,000 in cap and another player being cut nothing??
  4. Ditto what he said ^^^ ... I by NO MEANS think the Bills will do good this year, but I am pretty sure about one thing. The Patriots are sinking and their sinking fast. They barely made the playoffs last year and that was with the 5 players that they lost this year .... good luck . not .
  5. I think (other than the post above me) people are under-estimating what Losman is going to do as far as running goes. He only played 8 games last year and had about 170 yards ... this was also when he was in Mularkey's system. Give me a full 16 games, with longer drives, and hopefully more possesions, and I think he should rush for 450-500 yards (about 30 a game). Also I can not wait until we get in those Red Zone situations where the middle would be wide open due to LB's and CB's covering wide receivers and Willis McGahee and I just wished Bledsoe would run straight up the middle into the endzone but never did. Truly I believe Losman will have at least 10 of those opportunites this year and will capatalize on at least 3-4. ... not to mention that the Peerless Price bomb last game, came after he aluded a few would-be tacklers. Boy I love a scrambling QB.
  6. I think that the Patriots will probably win ... but I dont get why people are all over Brady and Bellicheck as if they are the only 2 that run/play the game. The previous Patriots teams that beat the Bills have now lost: Charlie Weiss (one of the best coaches in the game) Romeo Crennel Willie McGinnest Adam Vinitieri (how many SB's did the Patriots win by a field goal? oh - all of them?) David Givens Deion Branch (seeking trade/holdout) Christian Fauria Bruschi broke his wrist and may not be at COMPLETE 100% Again - not saying that they are a bad team. Just saying that people probably should consider what they have lost, rather than harping on how amazing the B&B brothers are.
  7. I think this whole post makes my point ... you went player by player and bashed them with the exception of a few who you say were not bashed. I clearly remember the last home game Reed played with Buffalo. I was at the game. It was at home, Against Indianapolis. It was the last game of the season. The crowd gave him a standing ovation. Then I believe he went to the Redskins was it??? and he got bashed on the radio/boards Moulds wanted the money that a player who had averaged 83+ receptions and 1,000 yards a year for the past two years should get. If this was another player on another team who had 81+ receptions for 3 out of the 4 years (3/4 years) and averaged around 1,000 yards a season those 4 years, then they would have received more money than we were offering. Period.
  8. It seemed like later in the season last year that JP had started to develop the long ball ... does anyone remember the Miami game at home where he threw 3 straight nice long balls (I believe for touchdowns).
  9. If he starts all 16 games ... well these numbers are based purely on the assumption that Losmans tendencies for "big plays" carry over from the last half of last season and this pre-season to the new season. 3360 yards (average 210 yds/game) 18 TD's (few games with more than 1 and a few games with 0) 11 INT's 400-450 yds rushing
  10. PRE-SEASON PRE-SEASON PRE-SEASON may I remind you that this team looked so great to the NFL last year and then the Bills (our poor Bills) beat them?
  11. Ditto. This stuns me. Some of the people who i respect the most around here are more of a hockey nut, then a football fanatic. Kinda dissapoints me. Well anyway - I LOVE football. I LOVE the NFL. And the NFL is never going to cut commercials. It is the most popular sport in the most important country in the world. GO BILLS!
  12. ESPN is actually up to $3 a month/per suscriber ... NFL Network is charging .90 cents per month.
  13. I believe it is from DJ's staff ... it is changed often
  14. Well considering the NFL PACKAGE alone (direcTV) has nearly 14 million suscribers and each family probably has 3-4 people watching it ... I would say at least 42 million - 56 million people watch MORE than just their home teams game ... and NOT just the SB.
  15. Thank-you Eball and Luisma. Buffalo fans have a real problem with bashing players when they leave for no reason at all other than to make themselves feel better for no longer having them on the team. It happened with Andre Reed, Thurman Thomas, Flutie, Travis Henry, Ruben Brown, Jonas Jennings, and now Eric Moulds. My opinion: Eric Moulds was a good player and a great guy. He would stay around to sign autographs for kids (after practice) and was very friendly most of the time. Thanks for the time here Moulds.
  16. And you would then have to take the time to remove my foot from your butt.
  17. Here is the list of who they have lost (thanks to Google and the websites it brought me) ::: David Givens, Deion Branch (holding out, seeking trade), Bethel Johnson and Tim Dwight, Willie McGinest, Vinatieri, Tom Ashworth
  18. I certainly dont think Buffalo is better but I think your mistaken if you think NE is still in the top 10. I would rank them about 12. They have lost some key players - Branch the latest is seeking a trade. The impact of Weiss leaving showed last year and will show this year. Just watch. But no - the Bills are worse.
  19. I agree completely with the 2nd half of your post. Pay attention ladies and gents, because we are experiencing history in the making. Someday your grandkids will ask you "did you really see tiger play?" haha ...
  20. The talent YES ... not the combination Brady had. Do you not see what I am saying???
  21. Ok let me ask you the same question. What else could have Brady done, that Manning didnt do in the playoffs last year to beat Pittsburgh to make the SB??? Manning was 22/38 for 290 yards and a TD. Thats solid numbers for a playoff game. The real mark is that between James and Rhodes together they only had 58 rushing yards while the Indi Defense let the Steelers have over 100 yards rushing and Vanderjagt missed a field goal. So unless Brady can play defense and kick field goals I dont think their would have been much a difference if he took Mannings fault last year. How about 2 years ago? You mean the year that TY LAW and the Patriots Secondary raped the Indi receivers so bad that the NFL was forced to institute the "Ty law rule" AKA the 10 yard bump ... shall I go on? Again. Not saying Brady is bad. I think talent wise he is 3rd best in the NFL as a QB.
