POST YOUR SCHEDULE PREDICTIONS (AND LEAKS) HERE
Blue Chipper replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Arizona at Philly? Well for those of us that have to work the day after Thanksgiving- atleast we can go to bed early that night. -
Kelly wont be there in the 2nd- I honestly think the skins will take him at 20 or the titans at 24. After that 40 time he is not worth taking before that but I just cant see him slipping to round 2 either. I think that moves Jackson from Cal to the top receiver on the board. He is only 5'9 but has the return skills that teams are looking for. We already have that in Rosco and McGee. I think the Bills look to another position in rd 1.

Bills 85 draft number nine bests all time
Blue Chipper replied to K-Gun10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How about the Vikes drafting Buster Rymes WR one pick before Reed in the 4th round? -
TomCat I did four brackets- espn, cbs, work and the one here at TBD. Espn Im three thousand something and cbs isnt much better. So I guess I am just surprised that Im leading this one. But then again its only been two rounds.
-
KD, Im currently in first place with 49 points. Just wondering what kind of hat are we talking about here?
-
Chad is an excellent receiver but is also 30 years old. As Buffalotone stated with an earlier post he does go across the middle and that cathces up with a player after 7 years in the league. Would I like CJ on the the Bills? Ofcourse but not for the 11th pick in the draft where we can choose any receiver we want. Sweed or Kelly can turn into 85.

I think whoe ever signs Carr will get a good young QB. Houston let him play and learn as a young QB then they gave up. I think in the right system and under the right coach he will be very good. As far as the blls signing him I doubt that would happen but we do need a solid back up and if JP beat out Carr in traing camp then we would have just that. Nall blows.

Midway through round three in 2005 TD drafts Kevin Everett. He has one reception in a Bills uniform. Do the Bills need to draft another TE or are they satisfied with Royal who they signed as free agent last year. I dont remember how much his salary is but if I recall he signed a nice deal. I just have to think that a nice receiving TE that is always there for JP to dump the ball off to if his 1st and 2nd read are covered would be a huge advantage to the offense.

Break out your crystal balls

Just seeing if you were paying attention. Sweep left Overdue. We should all get used to saying sweep left, toss left, pitch left, hand off left, reverse left, bootleg left. -

Break out your crystal balls

Vilma runs over Duke Preston, who somehow won the starting rg spot, and crushes Lossman before he knows what hit him. Losman is knocked out and lost for the season and the controls are handed over to Craig Nall who proceeds to show why he is a back up and goes 0-16. Now thats doom and gloom. Or a brighter prediction would be a sweep right by A Train behind Peters and Dockery for a 10 yeard gain and a 1st down. -
OFFICIAL goodbye Willis thread

later daddy-o. -
Two summers ago my wife and I went to Baltimore for a long 4 day weekend. We stayed in the inner harbor area which is just beautiful. Im sure Willis will love living there and Im sure there will be plenty of single women and potential future baby mamma's waiting anxiously for his arrival.
-
But TD loved the headlines and he definately had everyone talking about that pick.

Report re McGahee Contract with Ravens
Blue Chipper replied to Peter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
now thats funny. -
I dont think he was bust at all. He worked hard to overcome that horrible injury and I think he will have avery good year in Baltamore. Im sure they will try to seign him to a 3 or 4 year deal. If they dont then he will definately go all out for that big contract next year. Willis' problems came off the field- he didnt fit in or put forth the effort to become part of the community. He trained with his boys at the U in the offseason and not here. Im glad we got something in return and that combined with the fact the average nfl career is something like 5 or 6 years for most nfl running backs Im looking forward to possibly drafting Lynch and seeing him split time his first year with Brown or Rhodes similar to what Addai did in Indi.
-
Lynch at # 12 then package the 2nd and one of the thirds to get back into round one-somewhere in the mid 20's and take the LB from Penn State.
-
Holcomb sucks and so does Nall. If JP went down I wouldnt want either of them quarterbacking the team. Maybe the Bills bring in somebody with experience better than the two we back ups we have now to help JP continue to learn but could also step in if needed.

Patriots just traded for Moss
Blue Chipper replied to Willis990's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I just did a quick check on Patriot message boards and nothing official about Moss trade. -
Let me clarify- Im talking Fantasy back top 10.
-
top 10 back. LT, LJ, Jackson, Alexander, Parker, Gore, Addai, Westbrook then maybe Henry.
-
The Jets raped the Bears on that trade. Either they have a ton of confidence in Benson or they want someone at 36.
-
Exactly. I posted thread this because I have always been a fan of Kelly from his playing days and the fact that he still to this day doesnt hesitate to open his checkbook for a good cause. Last month many people were quick to point out that he was at a superbowl party this year and had a few cocktails. Only negative things seem to get posted so I thought I would post something positive.

Who has Ron Jaworski's number?
-
Sometimes I wonder if posters on this boards will ever be happy. Marve goes out and adresses the o-line which has been weak for years and people are bitching that he over paid for this player and this player. Give me a break. If Marv was sitting there not doing anything in free agency there would be complaints. It looks like Ralph gave him the go ahead to spend and attempt to upgrade the line. Are the players he signed going to do that- I hope so. I guess we will have to wait until Sept and see.
