  1. TKO is a very scary man.... with or without pads! Glad he is on our team.
  2. I was reading the ny daily news and came across this: "According to NFL rules, if the game is not sold out by 7:30tonight, the ABC telecast of Giants-Saints will be subject to blackout in the metropolitan area. As of yesterday afternoon, there still were nearly 25,000 seats left for the game." So even though it is a home game for the saints you will not se it if you live in NY City area. Giants fans must be pretty upset. This same thing could have happened to the Bills if the Saints game had been scheduled for the Ralph. If we didnt sell out in time that is.
  3. growing up in Niagara Falls there were two things the city is known for- chemical dumping and great pizza. Sammy's and Buzzy's are really good but the best is a little place called the Pizza Oven on Niagara St. Take out only. Problem is they close from June to mid September every year. Owner goes on vacation somewhere. Pizza is the best. Lines are out the door on any given friday or saturday night.
  4. I lived north of Tampa in Lutz, Florida and Ybor city was always worth the drive. That place was one big party, bar after bar block after block.
  5. When the Bills drafted both Parrish and Everett I was pumped. TD added another burner and a big offensive TE. Hopefully Roscoe will be back soon and can step right in and Everett continues to rehab and studies the playbook. Next year he will be our starting TE.
  6. Tanpa beat a very average team yesterday. The loss of Moss is more than the folks in Minesota would like to admit and they will have a tough time reaching .500. Im always glad when a team wins before we play them. They wont be hearing it all week in practice on how poorly they played the week before from their fans and local media.
  7. 9 minutes to go... Big Blue just got stopped on 4th down in side the ND 5 yd line. ND came in ranked #20 and Mich #3. If this score holds up how far do the Irish move up?
  8. I would not skip today- there is some good college games this afternoon and tonight. just enought to wet your appetite for sunday.
  9. Your right. The Raiders really need to come up with a better offensive game plan. With all the double coverage of Moss there is so much they could do with their running game or other receivers. They blew it last night. Plus their D was shutting down Dillon the whole game and he was geting frustrated. Problem is their secondary looked like they were in slow motion. I truly believe we will shut down Dillon just like the Raiders did but Brady will have a little tougher time standing in the pocket and picking apart our secondary.
  10. Sit back and relax- get youself the NFL ticket and maybe the Center Ice package from dtv. You're good till January now.
  11. I know Cinci. And the funny thing is that most of the scalpers at the Ralph are related. One time I was looking for seats in the tunnel end zone and I was told by a scalper to go down two blocks and talk to his cousin Terrance.
  12. I always wondered why the one guy holding the sign that says "need tickets" doesnt walk a half of block and get with the guy that is yelling " who needs tickets". It would seem simple enough.
  13. Hey Marv, That explains alot. I always wondered if you were high during some of you post game press conferences. Did you ever smoke up with T.O?
  14. If Im not mistaken- there are only single seats left for the next three home games (atl, phins and nyj). I bet even if they are 3-3 at that point the last four home games come close to selling out. Not to mention the last two are the Patsy's and the night game vs Denver-two great games.
  15. I love it when the "experts" give us a lock. When I younger I would call the free pick lines and also pay for service plays. Looking back I could have saved a lot of money if I just made my own picks. That same guy is probably giving the Texans as his lock in the Houston area.
  16. Or it could be a team like the Buffalo Bills, who won't be intimidated by the Patriots if they hook up in the playoffs, since they play them twice each year. The Bills are an intriguing bunch. One of the hottest teams at the end of last season, Buffalo still couldn't finagle a playoff-clinching home win against a Steelers team that had nothing to gain in Week Seventeen. With a new starting quarterback comes new hope. But even though we don't disagree with comparisons of J.P. Losman to a young Brett Favre, the future Hall of Famer wasn't exactly the most polished piece of passing perfection in his first three seasons as the starter in Green Bay. So we expect plenty of rough spots this year for Adam Sandler's baby brother, sprinkled with a periodic glimpse of potential greatness to come. Until that greatness emerges, look for opposing defenses to stack up against a rushing attack led by Willis McGahee, to whom G.M. Tom Donahoe proudly can point as the product of the pilfering of a first-round pick from the Falcons for Peerless Price. McGahee likely won't churn up huge numbers until Losman can deliver the ball to guys who'll enjoy single coverage when the strong safety trots up to the line to stop Willis. On defense, the departure of oversized tackle Pat Williams opens the door (and a big spot at the buffet line) for Ron Edwards, a third-round pick in 2001 who'll team with Sam Adams to help clog the spaces between the tackles. Beyond Williams, the other 10 regulars are back from a unit that was second only to Pittsburgh in 2004 in yards allowed, and that was responsible for a conference-high 24 takeaways. If the Bills are to ascend into playoff contention, it means that the New York Jets will coast back to reality.
  17. I dont see anything negative that could come from an extra home game. What NFL team would not want that. As far as who gets 1st crack at the tickets it should go to N.O season ticket holders. But honestly how many fans will be coming up from down south ith verything that is going on there? So then I think it becomes 1/2 price for all remaining seats, first come first serve with all proceeds going to the relief fund. I doubt the game will sell out but every little bit helps for the victims.
  18. You have to think AFC East then the rest of the AFC. Any Pats, Jets or Fins loss is a good thing! Always.
  19. Starting the season on a thursday night is awesome. Now all we need is for Moss and Collins to connect on a few bombs and away we go.
  20. Dam you- thats the first score that I thought too. I wouldnt be surprised if Houton is leading at halftime. You know that JP will be nervous and I think he will make some foolish throws and the Bills D will have to bail him out a few times.
  21. Now that would be sweet! I wonder what would happen if it didnt sell out. Would it be televised because it is supposed to be a road game?
