you're joking right?
In ten years he has started 13 games. He is 32 years ols and is NOT or qb of the future. He was brought here to bring some experience and help JP read defenses and maybe fill in here and there and worst case scenerio he would have to start a game or two. That worst case has arrived when we lost to the Saints last week. If he can win this week that would be great but you cant believe that JP will be the 2nd stringer the rest of the year.
I cant see Ralph telling Mularkey to sit JP. Everyone knows that Ralph trusts TD more than anyone and will listen to what ever he says. He is not like Steinbrenner of the Yanks and doesnt call the gm or manager and tell them what to do or else.
I truly believe this was Mularky's call all the way. He knows he has a veteran defense and good special teams and the division is still there for the taking even at 1-3 but if you drop to 1-4 then you might have too much ground to make up.
M.M. is 10-10 as our head coach. Some of the decisions he makes might not be the right call all the time but that will come with experience. He is with out a doubt better than Williams.
The one knock I have on him is that he did not handle this qb change very well. Atleast it looks that way to me but Im not in that locker room so JP may have known about this since monday morning.
there are 4 games this week with spreads of 2.5.
The pats, fish, bengals and saints all getting points. Have to wait until monday but wouldnt be surprised if three of the four win.
if anyone caught the Comboys Raider game sunday. Drew had four chances from the 5 yd line with at the end of the game to win it. third down- fade to the corner of the end zone= over thrown. Fourth down- quick out to the te on the goal line= under thrown. Those two downs sum up Drew at this point in his career. Im glad we dumped him becuase atleast JP can improve and get better- Drew is going in the opposite direction and has been for the past three seasons.
Does anyone want to start a play of the week thread? Im sure there are many folks out there who like to bet on games including myself. It would be interesting to hear from other people who follow football and hear their opinion on different games- college or pro. If so lets do it on Fridays.
we were on of the last teams to switch from the 3-4 to the 4-3 a few years back. Now we are one of the last teams who still play the 4-3. Now I understand that nobody plays a base 3-4 or 4-3 because lineman drop in coverage or safeties blitz and so on but when the rest of league changes we seem to stay the same.
Sucker bet. A home team favored by 2.5 = people will think oh thats just a field goal to cover. No problem. Same thing with 6.5 point favorites- the odds makers want you to take the favorite.
have you read this thread? He was accused of spitting on another player. I think he is very frustrated and is no longer mentally in the game. He is a receiver who in the past has had 8-10 passes to him in a game and now he gets 2 or 3. The longer this goes on the more frustartd he will become with JP and the offense and the mentally out of it he will be come game time.
moulds has officially lost his mind. he has like 10 catches for year I think. I highly doubt he will want to be here next season. Its too bad because he is a great wideout and has been his entire career here in buffalo.
you cant keep taking away from an Oline and plugging in journeyman players. You do it throught the draft. Draft a guard or center in the 2nd round and build your team. I dont have the answers but it starts up front I know that.
Parrish will not even see the field even when he is healthy- aleast for a few weeks. Josh Reed is not the problem. Our line is horrible. Atleast at pass blocking. they seem to handle the run blocking just fine. Its sad to see JP getting hit every time he attempts to throw.
lacks aggressiveness? lacks natural instincts? frequently takes poor angles to the ball? difficulty playing through traffic? So basically he is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of Spikes. Yeah lets trade for him today- are you guys nuts?
