We got beat by more. -
Why throw an entire season away because of one!
cantankerous replied to DeLuca1967's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aww c'mon LA...Lee Evans rarely drops a pass. Losman however, overthrows him much more often i'm sure. If Losman had actually made some plays i'd be much more comfortable with him in there, but he hasn't made any plays when we've needed them this year. I don't know if Nall or Holcomb would be any better but it's getting tough to watch Losman keep making the same mistakes. -
GAME DISCUSSION THREAD 10/29 : Bills vs Bye Week

LMAO @ this thread. That is hilarious. -
Some on this board are so quick to jump ship

Maybe if Jon Losman showed some SKILL at quarterback...he makes it look like he's in college playing against pro's. And while you say be patient he's only started so and so games - Has he shown much in those games to make you believe he's got "it" ? I haven't seen much. His passes seem to lack finesse and touch when they need to...it's been said he's got a rocket arm and can throw the deep pass with the best of them...soooooo when is that going to happen? All I see is him overthrowing his receivers when they are wide open. (Minus the broken play to Parrish against Detroit.) Bledsoe chokes when the game is on the line, I think that was the main reason Bills fans wanted him gone. I sure did after the way he GAVE the Steelers that win in the 2004 season finale. I haven't given up on Spikes just yet, though he seems to be slower to react to game speed. That could and I hope will change in the coming weeks. My main gripe is Losman though...i've never been so nervous watching him play. It's like he's a turnover waiting to happen. I can't think of ONE clutch play he's made this year when the Bills really needed it. I don't think the o-line is as bad as everyone says at pass blocking...run blocking sure seems to suck for the most part. Losman just can't make quick reads or the coaches are calling plays that involve the receivers running routes too far up the field so that by the time they're open Losman is running for his life and doesn't really seem like he knows what to do. RANT OVER. -
The "real" Willis left when Travis left.

Chris Brown isn't their #1 back anymore. -
Comparing Losman to Manning is a joke. They're not even close.

You can't be serious. We'll be lucky to win 3 more games this year. -
hahahahahaha

I am glad JP is willing to take some blame for the
cantankerous replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jon Losman should take the blame...that's what a quarterback is supposed to do. At least he does that right. Now all we need is for him to play the position like it's supposed to be played...not perfect by any means...but make SOMETHING happen. -
Is it me, or is Robert Royal becoming a fan fav?
cantankerous replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Myspace is a good spot to pimp women...it works out pretty well actually. And Robert Royal is ok...however I remember his penalties and dropped passes just as much as his few other good plays. No fan fav here. -
Who would you rather have over Losman?
cantankerous replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes. -
The "real" Willis left when Travis left.
cantankerous replied to Mr. T's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hahaha, no hurt feelings Mr. T... The Bills just need to come together like butt cheeks and will themselves some wins in these next few weeks. I'm sure everyone would feel better then. -
The "real" Willis left when Travis left.
cantankerous replied to Mr. T's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You sure sound like you're bitching to me...saying he doesn't have the drive and desire since TH left. What do you expect Willis McGahee to do? Run over 2 defenders per carry plus the 2 fat ass o-lineman that are right in his way? McGahee is and has been a very good back for this team. And our o-line was better in 2004...you can't see that? -
No matter what you think the future holds for JP
cantankerous replied to bluv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He freezes up, can't make a quick decision it seems to me...Can't hold onto the football (even when it's just a referee making contact) I'm pretty tired of "waiting" for Losman to look like a real QB. Maybe someday. -

I'm still amazed that people will B word about McGahee with all the other problems this team has. Incredible. -
The Bills lost today because I didn't take a sh-- prior to the game. Had I shat before instead of after, we probably would have won.

If you dont think the front office is the problem.

That title solely belongs to you. Dipshit. -
does the coaching staff last the bye week?
cantankerous replied to Corp000085's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly what I was saying. I couldn't believe such an idiotic play was called after a timeout for fug's sake. I mean...Losman split out wide with Josh Reed as the QB? Like that's gonna fool the fugkin Patriots...COME.........ON..... -
Losman's lack of play clock awareness
cantankerous replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, is he just that stupid or what? It's the first quarter and he has no idea of how much time he has...He's a key reason why the Bills are tied for 2nd most penalties in the league pre-snap. I'm really ready for them to find another QB. People have been telling us for a while now that he's awful. I'm starting to really see it. -
JP may not be our biggest problem
cantankerous replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It has been said that the one thing JP really excells at is throwing the deep pass. WHEN the !@#$ is he EVER going to hit his target? He can't hit anyone in stride to save his life...cept for the one pass to Roscoe Parrish last week (which looked like a broken play for sure). He had Andre Davis WIDE OPEN and couldn't hit him. WOW he has a really strong arm!!! So strong he overthrows his receivers just about every long pass he tries. He has trouble throwing the screen pass, trouble throwing the out pattern and trouble in FINDING a receiver, besides Lee Evans (who he locks on and the whole defense knows he's throwing to) The defense looked awful the first 2 drives, then really looked solid...til we were down 21- 6. The offense gives this team no chance with it's lack of big time plays and CLUTCH throws and catches that every good team needs. Losman plays fine until we really need a big play or conversion...then he fumbles the ball, throws it short or long...when is he going to come up big? I'm starting to doubt it will ever happen. I don't see him as a quarterback with"it". HE FUMBLED WHEN HE HIT THE REFEREE FOR !@#$'S SAKE!!!!! JP LOSMAN is our #1 problem...this is the NFL, it's time to step up JP, or get the hell outta town. -
I expect the Bills to get beat by at least 2 td's...as much as I think the Bills want to win, I just don't see us beating New England. Them coming off a bye week and our sh------- oline already banged up...it's gonna suck but i'll be there to watch at 10am baby!! Let's Go BUFFALO!

So why didn't the Bills trade Nate Clements
cantankerous replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's good, no suitable replacement...and we probably wouldn't get what he's worth. That is my opinion. Thank god it's friday.
