    It was his shotgun--a special youth version. I'm surprised this doesn't happen more with step-parents. The step-parent situation, even if the step-parent is benign, is often awful for the kid. Especially at his age, 11, with another kid in the oven.

     

    This is one of those sad situations where no one should go to jail. The tragedy of it all is punishment enough for the dad and son.

     

     

    Yeah the kid should just get grounded for shooting step mommy. "Johnny, you shot your step-mother!?" "Go to your room!"

    i agree with you.......i never watch the probowl..............anytime you let the fans pick who is playing and not let the players stats dictate who is playing it is a sham........if they want to do something different maybe they should just throw a huge dinner party at the end of the year for the best players at each position and call them a all pro......

     

     

    The fan voting accounts for 1/3 of the results, with the remaining 2/3's being players and coaches choices. And they do have an "ALL-PRO" team at the end of the year...where have you been?

    I think the probowl is a sham and should be done away with entirely.

     

     

    Then don't watch it. It's for entertainment. And I thought this year's game was indeed entertaining...You can say it's a sham and the players don't play @ 100% which the latter is true, but for a true football fan just wanting to see another week of their favorite players? It's no sham.

    And since Bill Polian walks on water in the Football World, obviously this was an amazing steal and a great deal for the Colts

    We've gone over the Owen Daniels thing a million times now.

     

    The Texans only have to tender him a measly $2.6 million to make his compensation a 1st and a 3rd round pick. FYI, $2.6 million is less than the average starting tight end salary in the NFL.

     

    It's dirt cheap for Houston and no other team will offer a 1st and 3rd round pick for Daniels. It's a pipe dream. It is not going to happen.
