Good read. This was my favorite part...
Wood played with a simple philosophy. The moment the tackle tried to get separation on a running play, he would "dump him in the dirt." And if the tackle left his feet to try and get his hands in front of a pass, he was "going to hit the ground." -

No sh-- it takes at least 10 wins to get in, and that's not a guarantee. Why would anyone think anything less would do? Cleveland won 10 in '07 and didn't make it. New England 11 last year and no go.

yeah, just like last year when we had the heaviest line in the league, right? Have you forgotten the numerous 3rd & 4th down & inches where we could not even "fall forward" for the 1st down ?
You are so right. Last year and I think the year before that we had the "biggest line" in the NFL and they proved to be, collectively, a bunch of sissies so soft others wanted to squeeze their charmin. I really like the Wood and Levitre picks. Those guys look like they're going to be nasty!

Great pick! This guy was a huge part of the tremendous year of freshmen RB Yaquizz Rodgers. I watch the Ducks and Beavers all the time and I am stoked we landed this guy. Best guard in the draft!

Although I don't like him being picked at #42, he's a really good player and should make a difference next year. Oregon baby, gotta love it.

At least 4 of those looked like the QB's held the ball too long, nevertheless Peters should finish his blocks instead of shoving his guy and calling it good.
