  1. Doesn't sound like you were talking with the customer retention folks. You can get there by just saying "cancel sunday ticket" to the automated prompt. Just asking for a manager gets you nowhere.

I've been a customer since '99, and they've always given me perks. Like I said earlier in this thread, I asked if they could give me a deal, he asked what I wanted, I told him free Superfan and $20 off/6 months, and he said, "I can do that for you."

A friend of mine (who has only been a customer for 6-8 months) did the same thing - no problem. We never had to say we were going to cancel either (other than to the automated phone prompt in order to get to retention).

It worked for getting your HD TiVo, and it'll work for this too

I did the same thing...dropped my payments from 44.95 to 24.95...plus FREE superfan! Woo hooo!

  2. Steve and his buddies were hanging out and planning an upcoming fishing trip. Unfortunately, he had to tell them that he couldn't go this time because his wife wouldn't let him. After a lot of teasing and name calling, Steve headed home frustrated.

The following week when Steve's buddies arrived at the lake to set up camp, they were shocked to see Steve. He was already sitting at the campground with a cold beer, swag rolled out, fishing rod in hand, and a camp fire glowing.

"How did you talk your missus into letting you go Steve?"

"I didn't have to," Steve replied.

Yesterday, when I left work , I went home and slumped down in my chair with a beer to drown my sorrows because I couldn't go fishing. Then the ol' lady Snuck up behind me and covered my eyes and said, 'Surprise'."

"When I peeled her hands back, she was standing there in a beautiful see through negligee and she said, ' Carry me into the bedroom, tie me to the bed and you can do whatever you want'.....

    So, Here I am!"

  3. Putting Keith on the field at all is a direct slap at all the season ticket holders and anyone who paid to attend that game. The man has no place to be in the NFL at all and would never even come close to the field on any contending team. The moment he leaves the Bills is the moment I know we expect more of our 7-9 record.

In a nutshell, the man sucks as a player. You play with guys that suck, plan on sucking as well. Field a winning product, expect to win.

Damn,...you're an idiot. Ellison was forced to start in his FIRST NFL GAME. No place in the NFL? Get the f-ck outta here.

  4. Does anyone else think that is ridiculously expensive? I could care less about watching more obscure games around the league when they've already got double headers on the regular stations every weekend. All I need to see is the Bills, and whatever game is on the other channel. If you aren't in the area to get Bills games, you can easily watch them online or find a bar/restaurant to go to. I did it for 4 years in college. I don't think I'd ever pay that much for Sunday Ticket when all of the important games are free.

Going to the bar to watch Bills games is far more expensive than just ponying up for the sunday ticket. sh-- i'd spend at least $50 a week drinking beer and eating burgers...not for 3 years now. Oh and at the bar I could never get sound...since they had one game on the projection screen, we had to listen to that game. Usually the damn Packers. However it was awesome rubbing it in their faces in 2006.

Plus...nobody around here gives two schitts about the Bills...so watching at home without having to hear all the dumbass remarks is also worth the price.

Annnnd it gives me a good reason to have friends over. With the superfan online access my friend in Eugene can watch the Bills from my sunday ticket subscription. Pretty cool.
