  1. Harris, Buggs (before Poz injury), and Bowen (before he was cut) are all better than Ellison IMO. How could any of them possibly be worse? My vote is Harris.

Ellison is better than all of those guys, and if you believe otherwise you might just be a fool! Ellison has been playing his ass off.

  2. I've noticed the bad angles, too.

He's also committed a bunch of penalties. But our talent evaluators saw something!

As noted by many before, he is a rookie who missed a lot of camp time, so I'm sure he can improve. Hopefully before this Sunday.

He'll be fine, the 2 penalties he's committed were both for blocking his man out of bounds. Can't really fault him for that...one of them was questionable too...imo. His father was a DAMN good DB and led the NFL in INT's several years. I think he'll do just fine.

  3. Saints (-6) over BILLS

"Just Mail Me the 2009 MVP Trophy Right Now," by Drew Brees. Meanwhile, if you're thinking about taking Buffalo in an upset, check out this e-mail from Nick in Rochester: "Being a Bills fan is like sending your girlfriend off to be a roommate on 'Real World.' Before the season starts you have this foolish hope that she won't let you down. However, in the depths of your being, you know that a few weeks from now, you will be sitting on your couch, watching your beloved fumble away her clothes, getting touchdown after touchdown scored on her." LMAO soooooo fu-king true!

  4. Kyle is definitely a blue collar kinda player. He's a high motor guy who brings his lunch pail to work every day. He's very smart and savvy, almost like a coach on the field. He makes up for his limited athletic skills with his unmatched work ethic and heart. He's kind of like a cross between Brandon Stokely, John Lynch, Brian Urlacher, and Brian Leonard. I could only imagine what kind of player he'd be if he had the pure athleticism of John McCargo.

    LMAO whaaaat?

  5. Last night after seeing McKelvin fumble on the kickoff, it eerily reminded me of the 2005 Season opener vs the Jags. All Nate Clements had to do on 4th down was knock the ball down, instead, he tries to be a hero, go for the INT and gets outmuscled by the Jags WR. The next series, the Jags score a TD and win 13-10. If we would have won that game, we would have been 10-5 going into the season finale vs Pittsburgh, already having a wild card berth.

Last night, instead of doing the smart thing and kneeling down 4 yards in the endzone, McKelvin tried being a hero and screwed up big time. I hope this game doesn't cost us a shot at the playoffs like in did in 2005.

That was 2004 but I see what you're smebbin'

  6. 89 Kelly had 25 TD's (89-91 Ted Marchibroda was OC)

    90 Kelly had 24 TD's

    91 Kelly had 33 TD's

    92 Kelly had 23 TD's

    93 Kelly had 18 TD's

    94 Kelly had 22 TD's

At least from the QB's perspective I don't see much difference

so I'm not sure how I'm mostly incorrect. Ted Marchibroda is

the main reason Buffalo's offense was so explosive and you can

note the decline after his departure.

Note: Dan Marino has thrown for 48 TD's in a season ,Peyton manning 49 TD's,

and of course the record holder, Tom Brady with 50 TD's in a season

Note the decline? What decline...seems pretty even from then on out.
