  1. The scary part is if the Bills keep winning, despite Drew's awful performance, he will continue to start. When the Bills make the playoffs this year, it will give Drew one more year at QB. Scary thought!
  2. Corvette...because with one of those...you get all the wine, women and song you want!
  3. I have found that the cruise ships in the Caribbean show ESPN and NYC TV stations.
  4. Todd...I cannot win...if I would have included late round picks you would have said that who expects anything from late round picks. When I don't include them you comment on how I tailor the data to exclude the gems of TD. You and I will never agree about TD. I still like your insight, and unlike you do not think you are a fool.
  5. Let's look at the 2004 Bills and see how well TD has drafted....(Only players in the 1st 3 rounds) Travis Henry....Replaced with WM (who he drafted, and I gave him s**t for, but looks to be a good draft pick). Still he did draft TH and 3 yrs later he will be gone. Denney and Kelsey both 2nd rounders who will not be around too much longer. Though both are improving. Mike Williams...overpaid and will be replaced when his cap hit is lighter. Josh Reed...Replaced with Lee Evans. Coy Wire....Replaced with Milloy
  6. I think you hit the nail in the head...the cap hit is tremendous for trading players. The other difference is that in the NBA it is a soft cap, teams can sign their own players and exceed the cap. I believe that is how it works.
  7. I guess I just look at his history of letting home grown talent in both Pittsbrugh and Buffalo go. Maybe I do not give him enough credit for the FA his signs, but then again maybe is just is not very good at drafting
  8. How about Newman, Foreman, Irvin and Washington
  9. I bet you Weis wants a HC shot in the NFL. I would venture that Clements will interview better
  10. I was talking about Kevin Greene. The point I was making it that TD has a history of not resigning his stars in favor of signing FA that come cheap. It is easy in retrospect to say that a player never panned out after leaving Buffalo, but some have.
  11. Let me see....in Pittsburgh his two big ones I can think of are: Woodson -Let him go to Baltimore Greene - Let him go to Carolina Sam Rogers Antowain Smith John Holecek Sam Cowart Bryce Fisher The names go on to the players who were drafted by Buffalo and never resigned by TD.
  12. I doubt any of them will resign unless they are willing to take less than the market. TD does not like to resign his players, but rather try to find bargin players.
  13. I would think Tommy Boy would take a QB or RB. Maybe if we are lucky he would take a LB...can never have too much high draft pick talent as backups.
  14. How the hell could Ralph not let Marv come back? I think TD would have nothing to do with Marv. He would have be playing guys who want to win, not just the FA and draft picks of TD.
  15. Dom Capers and Mavin Lewis are not in the great HC category yet. I think in order to be a limb of a coaching tree, you need to go from coordinator to HC. Lewis was in Baltimore under Belick too.
  16. Who is on the Cowher coaching tree? Looks like the Jeff Fisher tree had a bad fruit
  17. Depends on how you define coaching tree.....Wade Phillips was his D Coordinator at the end....Ted Cottrell also was there. These guys are not great HC, but they are solild coaches. Marv made the HOF, enough respect from outside WNY in my opinion.
  18. NAME ATT YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST Willis McGahee 162 610 3.8 41 3 0 0 Travis Henry 94 326 3.5 19 0 0 0 When comparing WM to TH, the two differences I see are 3 TDs for WM and a longer lonest run. WM actually has fumbled more, but has not lost any. I understand that the Bills are winning with him in there, but his stats are not that much better than TH.
  19. Kickers are a dome a dozen..so says TD. What is more important...a good punt returner or a good ST unit that stops the other teams punt returns?
  20. Hate to bet road favorites (or home dogs). But I thought STL would have no problem with the Bills...I was wrong..and I paid for it.
  21. I think he should make it...just think that over the next 3-5 yrs the players coming up for HOF are no brainers, so it will be tough.
  22. Until the fans stop coming, TD will not be fired.
  23. Roth IRAs are excellent if you are in the income bands. I would suggest that contributing too much money into a 401K is a bad idea because it is money that you cannot access should you need it (first time home buyers excluded). I would suggest you talk to a financial advisor about variable annuties or whole life policies to find alternative methods to saving for retirement.
  24. Can anyone give me a GM (not a coach/GM) who is worse than Donahoe? I would take Polian, Pioli, Smith, Millen or Casserly over Donahoe.
  25. I was watching the game...kept saying why not convert Josh Reed to DB!
