Another issue that has not been raised, but is the biggest issue facing marriage today, money. As baby boomers start to age, they will use their wealth as leverage to ensure that their kids put their parents before their spouse. If the wife had an inheritance at stake, she might be more willing to side with the family to ensure that her kids are financially stable.
-
That is the key. The initial post stated that the wife took the MIL side. When that happens, you will never get the chance to fish, because MIL and wife will sabatoge it.
-
Once your wife sided with her mom over you, the marriage officially is over. You can go on living together, have kids, but she will also be the daughter first, wife second. You will lose any argument. The best thing to do is to talk to your wife as an adult. Explain that once you get married, you need to put your spouse first. It will get more difficult after you have kids. Your MIL will tell you and her daughther how to raise the kids. Been there...done that...got a t-shirt...now a divorce.

NFLs underrated/overrated players
Steven in MD replied to sfladave's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Underrated Player - Brian Moorman. He is a Pro Bowl punter playing in city where the wind can kill the average. Overrated Player - Willis McGahee. Until he plays a full season, not sure why he is annoited the next Walter Payton. -
My wife had it done by him....highly recommend him.

Buddy Hackett (RIP) was the funniest comedian I ever saw. He did not play blue for the shock effect (which is what Howard does). He did it as part of his routine. You either love Buddy or you don't. You either love Howard or you don't. There is no middle ground here.

The rumor has it that it will be SpikeTV. The E! show was ok, but with censorship, it is not different than the radio show. He needs free rein to be enjoyable.
-
This is where you and I disagree. I believe that if they cannot trade him, he will be inactive until traded. If they do not trade him during the season, they will release him after the season. To me, that is screwing a player.

Todd...Do you think that the Bills dress TH for any games? I doubt it. Of course if he was in the plans for the season, and would get to play that is one thing. But there is nobody at One Bills Drive that believes he will suit up for a game, so why not just give him the release? If no team was willing to cough up TD asking price, and he has no value, why not jus release him?
-
The problem is this...TH will not be a Bill next season. He will either be traded or released before the season starts. Everyday the Bills postpone this, is one less day for him to learn a new teams scheme. That is screwing him because even though he is under contract, the Bills know they will not honoring this season.
-
He did say he expects to be in on 3rd down this season. Did not address the lack of snaps for the Bills.

Pat had 3 uncomplimentary things to say about the Bills this afternoon on NFL radio. 1. The Bills have no replacement for him. It will be on Spikes and Fletcher to pick up the slack, but it will be hard without him. 2. JP Losman is not ready to be an NFL QB. This was shocking, but he said he still has alot to learn to lead the team. 3. The Bills (I read it Donahoe) is screwing TH over. He said either trade him or release him. Give him time to learn the playbook for another team. I think PW has sour grapes over not being resigned, but I think he is correct on TH. Just my thoughts.

Goes to show that you can f-up in life and get a 2nd, 3rd or 10th chance.

And I thought 4 SB losses were tough...
Steven in MD replied to Greg de'Ville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sorry about your loss Greg. I hope everyone takes the chance to call their dad tomorrow and just say thanks....because we all have stories of how dad was there to be the cheerleader for you when you thought nohting could go right. I learned that you cannot take people for granted...for me it was the day my father had bypass surgery, and I realized how fragile life can be. Again, my condolences to you Greg. -

Study Reveals That 90 Million Women

I think we can open up a store called Boobs R Us to fit women with the correct bra. As a self proclaimed Boobologist, I can train everyone in the correct method. First order of business....eliminate the padded bra. Who wants to work with me? -
Yes, if two people were pan handling in my suburban neighborhood I would be freaked out.
-
Does anyone think that ANY of these reality shows are NOT fixed? If two strangers came panhandling for money to pay a taxi, what would you do? I would call the police. But if there was a camera crew there, suddenly you would want to be in the show and play the game.

Do you blame him? Look at Everett and realize that there is no reason to go to these camps without a contract.
-
You mean like Mike Williams?

I like the Punch Rare Corrajo and Hoyo de Monterrey. As many have said, cigars are like fine scotch, you need to find something you like. Definitely get the smaller Robusto size.
-
It is hard to go from being in a big time college program to a walk on in a NFL training camp. I do not blame him. Basically he is saying, you had your chance, now I will move on to bigger and better things. I know it hurts his dad, but if his dad wanted his son to play that badly, he could have gotten Cincy to take him in the 7th round.

Sure we understand long term....we have waited 5 yrs for the rebuilding and looks like 2-3 more years of it...8 yrs is long term to wait to make the playoffs.

Munoz was ranked the 15 top OL in the draft. He looked good if not above average when he played. He will end up on some teams PS to get a season to rehab his injuries and to work on some technique. I was hoping the Bills would have signed him.

HOW IS IT POSSIBLE HENRY....sees
Steven in MD replied to 40+ Year Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There was plenty of interest in TH. The issue was that TD wanted too much for him. so teams used 3rd round or later picks to get a RB. Even the Bills selected a RB. Bottom line, TD put his chips in the middle, and loss the bet (for now at least).
