I have to agree with others...MW was a slotted contract. Hard to blame TD for the contract, only the selection.

Can you say Marv Levy? Remember him? HOF coach, 4 straight SBs. He never played his starters more than a quarter during preseason. PROTECT the starters for when the games count. Dungy was smart. I think MM is showing too much in preseason, might give other teams plenty of tape.

There is a fine line between sportsmanship and protecting a lead. If you are up by 21 going into the 4Q do you call off the dogs? Some say you always press the D, and let the O show the sportsmanship (i.e. just running the ball). I am of the belief that if you are winning big call off the dogs, if it gets close, send them again. But I guess momentum is lost, so who knows.

As was stated, TD will not overpay, and in many cases not pay market value for a player. His speciality is to collect a group of players who want to play for a contract that will not bust the cap, and who want an opportunity to prove their worth. Nate wants top dollar, and believes he has proven it so regardless of his season, he thinks a big payday awaits him. TD will not bite. Say goodbye to Nate, just like we did to AW, Jennings, Williams, etc.

You can call me a purist (among other things), but I would like to see the OT bonus go away. How can anyone with any skill tell me a game will go into OT? That has to be luck.

A Refi appraisal is meaningless. As was stated, the only reason it is done is to make sure the loan amount to value meets the investor requirements for the resale of the mortgage after closing. Now, an appraisal from the city or taxing municipality is important, because you are taxed on it.

With free agency and lack of loyalty, I doubt you will see many great threesomes in pro football. Look at the Pats over their 3 SB run, the only constant has been Brady. Different RBs and WRs.

I believe you are correct, and as I have been told, Moulds was resigned under TD, so in the essence, he is a TD guy now (sorta like FA signing). I think this team will depend on a solid defense to win games more than the offense of JP. For JP to be successful, the OL will need to play its best, and I think there will be too many changes on the line for that to happen immediately.

As was stated, lying on your resume is cause for immediate termination. Once you get fired for that, it makes it hard to use that company as a reference.

Ahh...grasshopper you learn well. The point is that we let Flutie go (albeit via FA) to keep RJ as our starting QB. Here we are letting TH go to keep WM. Both RJ and WM played well when they replaced the starting player. I am curious to see if we made the right choice. Remeber Flutie went on to play well in SD.

Is the deal a conditional 2nd? Straight up 3rd? Just remember, we kept RJ over Flutie....and now we will keep WM over TH.
