  1. That is true, but no matter what Saunders does, he cannot get that HC job. I think he realized that working for Gibbs might give him some more experience and exposure to take a HC job. Remember, GW is tbe next HC for Washington, so Saunders knows he is there for the money and experience to get that HC job.
  2. Exposed in that he no longer had Teflon Tom to defend him. Not to say he needed defending, but TD was able to buffer the coaching staff from Ralph.
  3. 3rd Stinit....Chi and Det before. And in both situations he sucked...keep him away from OBD
  4. Mularkey quit because he was foolishly loyal to TD. I believe he quit because his protection (TD) was fired. Under Marv he would have been exposed. Teflon Tom had excuses for him, Marv takes no excuses. As far as an experienced coach coming in, I think ANY coach would love the chance to share and learn from Marv. Coaches like GW and Saunders are in Washington to learn from Gibbs.
  5. But GW still gets to be the HC when Gibbs leaves.
  6. Agreed! Also, I expect that as new head coaches assess their teams, they might look at different players for their schemes.
  7. He was an awful coach in Chicago and not much better in STL
  8. If money is not an option......Get GW back...JUST KIDDING!
  9. Haslett, Cottrell or Riveria I can live with.
  10. Hindsight is 20/20. If Carolina would have finished 7-9 again with Chicago in the playoffs a real bust move by Carolina.
  11. Who had a better defense this season, Minn or Buffalo? How won more games this season Minn or Buffalo? Give TC some props, he has done it with less talent than the Bills have. We would be so lucky to get him.
  12. Stuff like this goes on EVERY day in the schools. Maybe it is not a teacher, but kids say stuff to kids all the time. When one kid does not have the latest fashion, the others pick on them. It is part of growing up.
  13. Unless the substitute teacher also works for the Bills and knew something. Agreed, it was an insensitive statement, but that does not make it any less true.
  14. If the Pats are favored, take Denver. Denver at home is a lock against the Pats. Anything less than Denver -3, is a good bet. Remember that the betting public usually bets with their heart and not their head. It sets up lots of good opportunity for the serious bettors.
  15. Belichek must have the goods on the refs. He benefits from the look the other way reffing calls...
  16. I thought GW brought in Gray from Tenn. Maybe he will end up in Washington.
  17. I still let him play for the Bills!
  18. I have been preaching that since the day we hired TD. I was so upset we went outside the organization to replace Butler. The Bills under Polian and Butler with Levy as the HC was built on character. The Bills were a classy organization. Now, we let ourselves become a classless organization with people like TD banning fans from enjoying games. It is good to see us back to the winning ways.
  19. What if..... Marv is given the job just to keep fans in the seats, and to evaluate the staff and personnel? Who cares if.... Modrak pulls the strings on the draft. He did it under TD. What if.... It works and the Bills win the SB. Imagine that!
  20. Yes, I think that AJ Smith is very similar in his philosophy as was Butler.
  21. Interesting....you did not see the game, but you know what happened. If you had seen the game, you would have heard the announcers commenting on the change in the offensive scheme in the 2nd half to compensate for the blitzing of OSU. More importantly, the team never gave up even when they were getting their heads handed to them early.
  22. Nothing will change....Modrak is a Donahoe puppet. Wish I could say it means improvement, but it doesn't
  23. Quinn went to a 3 step drop. Ran draw plays to neutralize Hawk Block 2 FGs.
  24. Danny will probably find another high profile guy (i.e. Spurrier choice).
  25. Why is Martz on there twice?
