  1. He had "too good" of a leg. Rouen could not angle his punts and kept giving Pittsburgh the ball at the 20.
  2. Excellent post....excellent points.
  3. I heard that Holmgren was seen stuffing the Big Ben replay photo in the ref's pocket.
  4. AH....the the facilities are not top notch. That is the issue. Ward Manuel the AD at UB is working with Simpson to get more money to upgrade the weight room and practice facilities. One of the items on the list....a bubble for practicing. Used to be one at UB. I doubt Gill will move on so fast to greener pasture, as I believe that should UB become a contender in the MAC, they will upgrade conference before they let him go.
  5. The beauty of this scheme is that the Club Seats do not count for sell-outs. I have heard that only 1/2 the club seats are purchased, and each year, only 30% of the eligible renewals are renewed. Basically, he is squeezing the last dollar out of the fans that wanted to jump ahead of the line for Redskin season tickets. Since there is a 10 yr wait for regular season tickets, this gave fans a chance to go to the front of the line. It is a shame!
  6. Is it me, did a lot of coaches get "demotions" this off season?
  7. How about trading Clements for Arrington...straight up!
  8. Hey Pat Riley owns the trademark to threepeat...
  9. I think it will depend on the SB. If Seattle loses, I think Hutch will stay to make another run next season. Should they win, he will go to the highest bidder.
  10. I do not think Levy would have fired Mularkey to take over as HC. Maybe, after MM resigned, Levy thought of coming back, but I still doubt that. I think DJ was Levy's first choice and MS was Ralph's. I think Ralph gave into Marv because he respects him, and Marv convinced him that Sherman was more of an offensive coach and DJ was more of a HC. Just MY hunch!
  11. Not so fast on that one....Arrington played well in the playoffs, and I think Gregg-O might keep him around. I just mentioned yesterday that I can see the Redskins packaging Ramsey and draft picks to get into the first round. I can see a team like Atlanta or Baltimore going for that, but not the Bills.
  12. Actually, MM is only 2 years removed from Pittsburgh. My opinion is that Big Ben would not have matured under MM. Just a hunch. That is the point, the players have changed. It took Cowher 5 years to undo the Donahoe effect!
  13. Money talks for older players who might want that last signing bonus and who might have won the SB. For a younger stud who has not been a winner, they might look for a place to win, that also pays well. Not always the highest offer.
  14. There are several teams below the Bills that will want to move into that spot to take Cutler. I would hope we listen to all offers and trade down to get depth and quality.
  15. Bringing in Ted Cottrell as DC would be a huge coup. Not sure he would come back, but I would welcome him back in a minute.
  16. A Super Bowl Appearance..... We have to hope that Buffalo - TD - MM +ML +DJ = Super Bowl victory.
  17. I did not want Jauron, but if Marv thinks he is good, have to support him. Like all those guys who drank TD lemonade, I am a Marv lemonade fan here. So I will support Marv's decision until it is PROVEN to be wrong.
  18. Well said.....and I love your choice of Jesse Mahelona, though I do not see him staying on the board till the 3rd.
  19. It is about progress....if each year the team improves, then you keep the coach. Look at teams like Cincy, Seattle, Chicago and Washington. In these cases in a short amount of time the team was headed in the right direction. Look at Houston, Detroit and Buffalo....not the case.
  20. I did not want Jauron, but if Marv says he is the right one, then I know he is the right one.
  21. If he is good enough for Marv, he is good enough for me. If TD hired him I would agree....but it is Marv, so we know it will be the RIGHT choice.
  22. I will give Marv the benefit of the doubt, but I do not think Jauron is the answer. He is a career losing coach with Chicago and Detroit. Having said that, he will get the defense back on track, and probably hire a smart OC to work with JP.
  23. That is why we brought back Marv....to purge this team of the selfish players and bring back Buffalo Bills football.
  24. LOL....Marv ego.......Cute. I think you are confusing Marv with TD. Marv is not in this for ego...unlike TD.
