Bruce, Andre and Thurman were all cut if memory serves me correctly.

After reading about the Wiley thread it got me thinking. I can't remember any former Bills who left via free agency who have done better with a new team.
Some examples:
Nate Odomes - Leaves for Seattle, plays maybe 3 games gets injured and retires.
Peerless Price - Invisible in Atlanta
Marcelius Wiley - San Diego, Dallas and now Jacksonville
Cornelius Bennet - Atlanta and Indy no more gas in the tank
Who am I missing?

Haddad doesn't drop any passes either. I don't give a crap what his 40 time is, he hussles on every play and makes the most of the chances he gets.
Sweet Lou would be proud...

Piccone played six seasons with the Bills, totaling 81 receptions and six touchdowns. His work ethic and contribution on special teams made him a fan favorite.
"I reflected, I guess, that blue collar, work hard… People called me an overachiever. I guess there’s something to be said for that, (but) you’re not an overachiever if you don’t have the work ethic. I don’t know if it’s hard to shine on a losing team or it’s easy to shine on a losing team. But the one thing I know, I was a certain type of ballplayer. I really enjoyed to play on a winning team or a losing team. I always tried to aspire to that I was going to be a personal winner on the field. Regardless whether you win or lose, you have to do your job and do the best that you can do at your position. You can build a career no matter where you are or no matter what the record is."

Nate Turner, Brian McClure, Antonio Brown....Drew Haddad...what do they all have in common? All looked like future hall of famers on Bills preseason squads. All failed to make the final cuts. All failed to have an impact anywhere in the NFL....unless you count McClure starting one game as the Bills "scab team" QB in 1987. If memeor serves, we beat the Giants in that rain soaked affair, in over time, 6-3...ah the memories.....
I thought the Lou Piccone reference would bring backthe memories - but Brian McClure? NICE!
And if I remember, Lawrence Taylor played for the G men in that game.

I watched the preseason game last night and was impressed with this Drew. He runs good routes and doesn't drop any balls. We need to keep this kid and give him old #89.

Jim Kelly and Frank Reich ring a bell?

Ahhhhhhh the Bowl o var is closed. The fella who owned it and numerous other bowling alleys died in May without a will. The Bowl o var is in limbo.
For fun we head to Richburgs Sunnyhill campsite, build a big fire and kick back a few...

People, people! JP looked good. Let's cut the kid some slack and let him develop. I would rather see him make some dumb physical mistakes (i.e. not running for a TD when he threw high to Evans) than the numerous mental mistakes of one Drew Bledsoe. JP will learn from these mistakes, something Drew never could.

I would look at Paradise Island, right outside Charleston, SC. Beautiful and not too developed.

As a webmaster and a Firefox user I'm extremely disappointed with this bloated site. I have a full T1 and it still takes time to download... C'mon Sabres!

Don Beebe did win a Super Bowl with Green Bay, head to Carolina and then retire. I don't know if he had the same success.
Good call on Christie.
