  1. Many thanks for some detailed and often sage observations.

Outside of including the usual rants on Posey that include no examples of anybody he had responsibility for or directly took on scoring a TD or even getting a bid gain these observations look pretty solid.  When I look at the tape again I will keep an eye out for Rodgers making Posey look like Eddie Robinson as this is the most measurable indictment you make which is not just a complaint that this pro is observed by an amateur turning the wrong way but fortunately no one scored or got a big gain due to the Posey faux pas.

    POSEY? He's the invisible man!

  2. I work in NJ with a bunch of Giants fans.  I sent them an email titled Mannings MRI Results with this link: MRI Results.

Needless to say, I got emails back with a link to articles about Mould's Injury.  Oh well, I think I have sent that pic about 5 times and posted it here when I introduced myself.  It really doesn't get old.

Not to go off on a different subject, but these really are the best looking Uniforms in the league.

  3. Drew and the Cowboys on MNF tonight against the Shehawks.  It sure was different to see JP running around at the Ralph on Sat night.  It was definitely something we Bills fans have not seen in a few years (other than RJ running for his life, but that was far from exciting.)

So in that spirit, over/under on Drew going down tonight is 2.5.  Any takers?  I'll say over, just because.

Seattle's defense is HORRIBLE, but I will put my money on the over. Drew goes down three times and throws a pick.

  4. I was finally able to take a second look at the first half of the GB game last night and I saw something I missed on R.Lee's kickoff return.

Peters took the man he was blocking and tossed him to Peters' right like a rag doll.  The guy landed on a second Packer, taking him down as well.  With that one move, taking two guys out at once, Peters opened a huge hole in the coverage and sure enough, Lee went right through that hole.

For those of you who taped the game, you can just see this happen on the replay from endzone camera.  Peters is just visible on the right of the screen tossing a guy to the left right into another Packer and they both go down.  The replay switches to the sideline camera just as the two Packers are going down and Lee sprints by.  You may have to rewind it a few times but it is there.

That is one of the most incredible blocks I have ever seen on special teams, ever.

I'd love to be in the film room when they run that tape.

Good call on that Mickey. I noticed it last night when I watched the game again. With Peters and Haddad we are Super Bowl bound!

  5. I like the guy but I'm not sure how much he'll help the team.  I know he's a fan favorite, but that's because he's about the only success story to come out of UB.  I mean, the guy went to UB!  What does that say?

I did think he played well the past two games.  I respect his hard work and staying power in the league after four years of injury and practice squad time.  He's got nice hands.  And I highly respect the porn mustache.  But I'd be lying if I thought he was going to be an impact player.  Just a feelgood camp story, IMO.

    Who's your Had-daddy?

No, I like him because he works hard on every play. Tivo a game and hit playback, the kid hussles, makes blocks and does the little things well. I don't care if he went to St. Bonaventure and played football (they haven't had a team in 40 years). He doesn't have to be an impact player, but what he does well is CATCH THE BALL. Very important in those third down and longs.

He is our modern day Lou Piccone. C'mon jump on the bandwagon!

  6. Dude, if ya got Tivo, but it in a wishlist with the auto record option. No worries then about setiing the tivo

Problem is - the NFL Network lumps all the titles of shows. Try typing in "Buffalo" or "Bills" and get nothing, but hit preseason football and 30 shows are returned.

  7. He's a very good cb... no doubt about it... but why would you want to pay the guy top cb money when he's not a lock down cb?  With McGahee, Evan, Losman... and still the need for a top flight tackle... and maybe a RT in a couple of years, I think Greer/King or drafting one next year should suffice.  With McGee and Parrish and Fast Freddie... the Bills really don't need Clements return skills.

    Crack open another beer please.

  8. Haddad isnt making the team, unless Roscoe goes on IR.  He had 3 catches the other night, the longest being the tip off the ball that should have been intercepted.  In fact, either he or Aiken ran a wrong route there because they were within a couple yards of each other and had 4 defenders wrongly around the ball.
