Edisto Island, SC is about 35 minutes south of Charleston. Very low key and a great place to get away from it all. It is a well kept locals secret, but since you are a Bills fan I'm going to let that slide. Charleston is a fantastic place to visit. Lots of tourist things to do. Wilmington, NC has some nice beaches, but a longer drive depending on where you are coming from.

I even question a team in North Carolina (and we get snow). The Hurricanes are on top of the NHL - but you wouldn't know it around here. It's racing, racing and more racing...

I remember X traded me the J Geils Band Centerfold for Dio - Holy Diver in sixth grade straight up. I made him look like Tom Donahue and he was left confused, holding the bag. No one touches Dio - the man is a vocal metal god. Even his later stuff - Angry Machines is great. My ipod is full of Dio. J Geils had one good song on that album - Piss on the Wall. X still sings it when I visit. oh yeah I still have the Holy Diver tape...
