Unfortunelty a huge chunk of the population, including urban "black areas" are simply too poor! The gap between the haves and have nots is simply too wide! Rap is OK ( ex punk rocker here! ) but the problem, as I see it, is that when these folks "make it" they become worse than the "oppressors" when it comes to flaunting wealth! They should expand more energy bringing up the rest of the communities that they, supposedly, speak for!

In layman's terms.....Geraldo determined that the cops on duty decided that he's the only one worth protecting!

It's all about them, their reps, ratings etc.! Earlier O'Reilly ( same sort ) told Geraldo that there looked ot be much police presnece at the Convention Center and he said ( paraphase ) " these are the only cops int he entire place and they are here to protect me" "they have my back"

was not to be outdone! Really took it to a high level of draam when reporting from the NO Convention center on O"Reilly Factor! He must have heard that Anderson Cooper was on a roll!!!

A classic! She was pissed because he put her on the spot! But...her father was the mayor of NO, at one point!

I have never seen anyhting like this with the possible exception of 9/11! The tsunami was so far away thatthe coverage wasn't "intense" enough to put it into my "mental landscape"! Long term, this could be really abd! Also, there are so many poor people in this country and, for the Fox News fans, they are not alll poor because they're lazy, etc.
