  1. If getting photographed while snorting coke off a girl's ass is wrong, I don't want to be right.
  2. DAMN YOU POOJER!!!! Haven't you ever heard of a spoiler alert??? I had no idea that last night's episode was a repeat, and then BOOM! there it is, right in the title of your thread. Thanks a lot. Some people just like ruining things for everyone else.
  3. Are you sure JoePa couldn't mention him because of NCAA rules, or was it because he couldn't remember his name?? You just knew Pete Carroll was going to have a solid class at USC. He is a defensive coach, and it was clear all season that his team did not have the top-flight athletes on defense that they did on offense.
  4. Hah! I was hanging out with a few of the Bandettes last weekend (the lacrosse Bandits' cheerleaders/dance team) and I asked two of them what they thought of the Jills. The one girl's exact answer was "The Jills are skanks." She must've gotten cut.
  5. Yep, you said it. The line on Marv's teams was just good enough to win 0 championships, get their QB knocked out of 2 of the 4 games, and produce only one 100 yard rusher (Thurman in XXV).
  6. I'm positive we're going to suck next year! Nah, just kidding. I'm about as positive as they come. Every year I think it's going to be the year. Just wait until after the draft, and free agency, and the minicamps...Once training camp and the preseason start, you'll be seeing so many 12-4 predictions getting thrown around that you'll wonder where all these people get their acid from. Seriously, Bills' fans true colors always shine through. Everyone wants to be positive, if the team would just give us something to get excited about. Look at Bledsoe's first year, they went 8-8 after a 3-13 season. The excitement was there. Then in '03 they trounce N.E. in the opener. Cover of Sports Illustrated. You would have been hard-pressed to find someone who was not positive after the first two games of that year. Same thing last year with the whole "I Billieve" push. It's tough to keep getting so excited and then have to go down with the ship. As loyal fans, we are supposed to go down with the ship. But we don't have to like it- and that's when the negative comments creep in.
  7. So's Lackawanna.
  8. Kobe Bryant. With him on offense, we'd be undefeated. Even our defense can hold the other team under 80.
  9. I believe the Jimbo jerseys are on sale because Dick's is nervous about the '12th Man' backlash from Texas A&M.
  10. Pretty effing solid.
  11. What a hoax. Bob Waggoner is the absolute worst back judge in the business! Just kidding. I have no idea who these guys are.
  12. Laura Quinn apparently must've just missed out on this list. I bet she was #100.
  13. WTF does that mean? You liked the Oilers until they stopped winning? Then you went to the Habs when they looked good? Moron. Make sure you tell us on Monday who your new favorite football team is.
  14. I can support any list that has Jessica Alba at #1 and completely neglects Paris Hilton. The heiress/whoress is played out and pathetic.
  15. NFL rules, Ramius. The bylaws specifically state that at least one of the Super Bowl teams, and sometimes both, have to claim disrespect from the media and fans.
  16. I hate to oversimplify but I just think the AFC is 10x better than the NFC. Seattle lost at Jacksonville and at Washington, and at Green Bay when they rested their starters. Their road wins were against St. Louis (6-10), Arizona (5-11), San Francisco (4-12), Philly (6-10; this was the 42-0 MNF game when the McNabb-less Eagles looked godawful) and Tennessee (4-12). Combined record: 25-55. They just haven't proven to me that they can leave home and beat a good team. Pittsburgh on the other hand, went into the lion's den against the #1, 2, and 3 seeds in the superior AFC and had fairly easy victories. All told, Seattle beat one playoff team this year: the NY Giants. They beat Indy, but the Colts had already lost their chance at 16-0 the week before, and James Dungy had died that Thursday. I can't say that's a quality win for Seattle, because the Colts were out of it before kickoff. Hammer Pittsburgh -4, and I'm not sure about O/U 47, but I'd lean toward the under.
  17. Gordie! That's great! I typically use "Garth" as my stereotypical Canadian name.
  18. The announcers were all over that stat in the game I was watching. I was mindblown as I watched him play because, and I hate to beat this to death, but he looked horrible. It was on the blue turf, but Boise is no defensive powerhouse. Watching that one game, I would've said that there's no way that stat was true. Maybe he was just off.
  19. No doubt, the MAC is solid. Big Ben is as good as anyone. Leftwich and Penny, bah! They've never gotten it done. But they are good enough to be NFL starting QBs. Charlie Frye, I know he had some good games, but I can't really comment because I haven't really seen him in pro or college. I stated up front that I only saw Omar play once, but he was far from impressive. He looked like a below-average QB for a decent mid-major team. I'm not putting down the MAC, there's talent to be found there. But lets not even begin to pretend that the athletes are on the same level as the major five conferences. His throws looked awkward, inaccurate, and no touch. Maybe I saw his worst game ever, but I wouldn't risk a pick on him based on my limited knowledge of him.
  20. I only saw him play once this year, vs. Boise State. He was pathetic. My honest opinion is that he will not make it in the NFL. He has a real quirky delivery that makes Vince Young's motion look like Dan Fouts. He also played in a spread offense that was almost exclusively shotgun and 5 wideouts. Those guys, especially when they are from mid-major schools, seem to struggle in the pros. (Exception: McNair.) I would be appalled if the Bills drafted him.
  21. Three in a row for the Horned Goats. Nice salvage to the road trip after the tough jaunt to Western Canada. I'm heading to the game Thursday vs. Philly, I think Forsberg will be out. Hopefully the Sabe's are flying on the home ice after the season's longest road trip. Ryan Miller continues to impress. The guy will let us hang around every single game. The defense takes more chances pinching in the offensive zone because they know he's back there. He's played once vs. Ottawa in the third game of the year, when the team in front of him didn't really show up. Ottawa has not seen Miller at his best yet. Next games: home vs. Philly and Ottawa, and then home & home vs. Montreal. How sweet would four wins there be? That would make 7 in a row, and then it's home vs. Florida (nemesis Luongo) and at Carolina (best team in NHL), and then Olympic break. Buffalo could make a big-time statement heading into the layoff.
  22. Where's the damn Babe of the Day thread when you really need it? Please JSP, come through for us buddy.
