Holcomb deserves a training camp shot from TKO for throwing a 3-yard pass to Moulds on 4th & 7 against the Pats.

Did you hear that? A collective groan from chubby girls everywhere.

Uni question...hypothetical of course

You are right duey, it continues to be mind-blowing that some things which seem so blatently obvious to us as fans are completely missed by management. More so for the Bills, but lump the Sabres into that group with this recent uniform debacle. As for the Bills throwbacks, I like them as a change of pace, but I think once or twice a year will keep them special. Same with the Chargers- great throwback, but wearing it sporadically makes it a special occasion, rather than the norm. -
As a sidenote, a friend of mine has a small gig printing t-shirts, etc. Another of my buddies is leaving town, he just finished law school, so we are having a big going away bash for him. I found a hilarious picture of him half-naked, very drunk, and caressing a stripper at a stag, so I had that screened onto t-shirts that about 50 people will be wearing at his party. Anyways, while I was at my friend's shop getting the t-shirts made, he had some of his other work hanging around. He made jerseys for a softball team, and they were hilarious. The team's name was the Lionel Richie Fan Club, and the jerseys had an outstanding, circa 1981 photo of Lionel Richie on them. I was dying.

I hear that. I guess some people made a stink because last year only four teams made it in. I dunno, I guess if it keeps everyone in the hunt and prevents teams from leaving the league (which has been a problem in the past) then it's good. There's two 5-team divisions, so the playoffs are set up as crossover series, i.e. #1 from the Labatt division plays #4 from the Molson division, and so on...

So I just watched tape of 37-7 victory over KC

One of the most impressive sentences ever posted. I love the use of the comma about halfway through, just to break things up a little. It reads like you took a few bumpers before you started typing. I like it! -
Check this out - Ko Simpson

No doubt. Taking nothing away from Ko, nice read, nice pick, nice return....But that pass was disgusting. -
You sound like the Bills- constant rebuilding mode!

I think you are right on here daninator. I've heard this in more than a few places that Mularkey did not want Willis bouncing runs outside. It makes no sense but coming from MM it's not surprising. By the way, the Teague comment was effing hilarious. Definately chuckled out loud at that one. -
Bring it back...HOLDING!

I just swatted a fly out of mid air....

I'm willing bet you were sitting there with your hand down your pants so the fly never saw it coming! Poor guy never stood a chance! -
We have a few rules also...I think the strikeout rule is universal...Also- Whoever makes the last out of the game has to bring a case of beer to the next game, and they have to wear a jersey that says "Beer B word" on the back with $$ as the number. It's a good rule because even if you are up or down by 10 runs, nobody wants to make the 3rd out in the beer frame. Anybody making two outs in one inning is also a case at the next game.

That's hilarious there's a league website. Might have to look into that. Speaking of which: A real pitcher's duel, huh tater?

I hear yah Jay. Last year only 4 teams made the playoffs in our league, and all playoff series were 2 outta 3. We finished 2nd after the regular season, but lost to the #3 team in the playoffs, swept 2-0. In the other bracket, #4 beat #1, and #4 ended up beating #3 for the title. Just have to get the bats hot at the right time!

The dog days of summer are upon us...Who's playing ball? My squad (the Rat Bastards) is 9-7 and making our playoff push. We are in 4th place out of 10 teams, 8 make the playoffs. Big game tonight against the 1st place team, and it is a steamer in the Buffalo-area. Better bring some extra beers! Seriously, after playing hardball my whole life, I just started playing softball two years ago, and it is great. I love our team because everyone plays to win, but if we don't win, nobody gets torn up about it. You could show up 10 minutes after a game finishes and you wouldn't be able to tell whether we won or lost. Everybody's just drinking and joking and shooting the schit. Tell me about your squads, your stats, your beer drinking exploits, the guy on your team whose girlfriend comes to every game and has huge breasts, etc. SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL KICKS ASS!!!

I'm not sure how LOL is involved here. I did not LOL. Good to see you're brushing your teeth, though.

I have been placed on that website. Previous girlfriends have spoken out against me, and are trying to warn the other gals about my massive member. I try to be sweet and gentle, especially with the petite ladies, but the thing is like a lamppost. Whatever, everyone has their cross to bear, I suppose.

Instead of the smash in the face, can I opt for the headbutt to the chest? -
Could be, for sure. Lynch is nice, and Cal always plays USC tough. But they have to come to L.A. and win. I don't think there's any question that USC lost a LOT of their core, but they've also had the #1 recruiting class in the nation the past three years. It is not out of line to assume that they will still have the best talent in the conference. Obviously, potential and execution are two very different things. But Carroll is a defensive coach, and I don't think you will see the pourous defense that was on the field last year. Tough to say, as USC has PLENTY of question marks, notably the offensive and defensive backfields. But look at the schedule: Sat 09/02/06 @Arkansas Fayetteville, Ark. ESPN 7:45 PM Sat 09/16/06 Nebraska L.A. Coliseum ABC 5:00 PM Sat 09/23/06 @Arizona Tucson, Ariz. ABC 5:00 PM Sat 09/30/06 @Washington State Pullman, Wash. TBA Sat 10/07/06 Washington L.A. Coliseum TBA Sat 10/14/06 Arizona State L.A. Coliseum ABC 5:00 PM Sat 10/28/06 @Oregon State Corvallis, Ore. TBA Sat 11/04/06 @Stanford Palo Alto, Calif. TBA Sat 11/11/06 Oregon (Homecoming) L.A. Coliseum FSN 7:15 PM Sat 11/18/06 California L.A. Coliseum ABC 5:00 PM Sat 11/25/06 Notre Dame L.A. Coliseum ABC 5:00 PM Sat 12/02/06 @UCLA Pasadena, Calif. ABC 1:30 PM It is not unreasonable to say the Trojans should win the PAC-10. At Oregon St and at UCLA (who they OWN) are their toughest road games. Washington, Arizona St, Oregon, and Cal all at home bodes well. Notre Dame will be TOUGH! Not only do they have last year (34-31 on Leinart's sneak) fresh in their minds, but also the three whoopings USC handed out the three years before- '04: 41-10; '03: 45-14; and '02: 44-13 (I apologize for mentioning those Bart!) Notre Dame is going to want this bad! By the way, watch out for Arizona as a sleeper in the conference. They have been getting better by leaps and bounds the past two years. They will come to play every week, and Stoops is starting to get some ballers in there.
