Yeah, that definitely sucks. The article says he explored coming out this year, but he didn't project as a 1st-rounder, so he reluctantly stayed in school. I really thought LenDale White should've stayed at USC for his senior year and beef up his draft spot as the #1 back, but you can never blame a guy for coming out early...Especially in football, severe injury can happen on every play (and even more so at RB, where you are taking/giving 40+ solid shots a game...) Hopefully Mike Bush rehabs well and does enough at the combine to make some cash. The dude is 6'3", 250lbs...It's gonna be tough to lug that frame around on a bum leg.

Devastating injury to Louisville RB Bush So it looks like WVU will coast to the Big East title, and could play for a national championship if they are one of only 1 or 2 undefeateds. Louisville was the one game on their schedule that could trip them up, but without their All-America Heisman-candidate RB, I don't see them challenging the Mountaineers. WVU has to knock off unranked Maryland and Mississippi State in non-conference games, and then it's all Big East softies after that.

Parrish would've led the NFL in punt return average as a rookie last year if he had returned enough to qualify. He averaged 13.3 on 14 returns, while the league leader was at 12.8. Don't forget, Parrish was catching and returning punts with a soft cast protecting his recently broken wrist. And as a receiver, I'd take Parrish (or Sam Aiken for that matter) over Fast Freddie. And that 17.4 avg on 9 returns factored in two that were over 50 yards. I think Freddie has definitely shown the ability to break one, but consistently over a season, I'll think the Bills get more out of Parrish. There's a reason Clements returned punts last year, and then Parrish once he got activated. I guess Fast Freddie just didn't have it.

Freddie was an average receiver at best...He would be a #5-6-7 on most teams, which is why I'm not worried if the Pats plan on using him at WR. He excels at kick returns, but he's not as good as McGee on KO's and not as good as Parrish on PR's. We had a bunch of good receivers, and some had to be cut. Freddie was just not as good as the others. I'd be more worried about him shaking loose on a punt return on Sunday rather than him spilling the beans about our playbook. Most of what is installed in the preseason is base sets and formations, all of which are on film, and all of which I'm sure Belichick and Co. have made themselves extremely familiar with already. This week in practice (and every week here-after), the Bills will install several new formations and plays specifically for their opponent. Freddie won't help the Pats with those. I wouldn't even put this in the same ballpark as Milloy coming to the Bills before the '03 opener. Milloy was the captain, leader, and soul of the team. Several Patriots mentioned what a crushing blow it was when he was released...That was before he even signed with us. He gave the offense one pointer on the Pats safeties, where he said on a certain route, they will zig instead of zag. That equalled a 40-yard pass to Moulds. Other than that, I'm not sure Milloy provided much info. I think the Pats were defeated when they walked onto the field. If the Bills lose this game, I don't think Fast Freddie's 'inside info' will be the reason.

The Patriots are 10-1 in the last 11 against the Bills. What has Buffalo done to earn their respect? You're right, this is as good a chance as any for the Bills, and the Pats are as vulnerable as they've ever been in the Brady era. But the way they've owned us, I wouldn't be too worried about the Bills either if I were them.

Thanks pal, I wasn't aware of that... Bucky's not a folk hero or anything like that. All I know is that he's a career criminal who shot at least one cop, and probably two others. Not cool. But I know for sure that all cops aren't angels, and what they write up in their reports may not be the way things ACTUALLY went down. A cop getting dragged for a mile by an ATV, and then pulling his gun out of his belt and shooting as he's getting dragged seemed very strange to me. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just saying there are plenty of reasons to be skeptical about the story. As an ATV owner and rider, the #1 reason to be skeptical is the "dragged for a mile" part. I'm not thinking conspiracy, or drawing other conclusions, I'm just wondering out loud. In the middle of the woods, with two troopers and one dead ATV operator, the troopers can write that story any way they want to. If the guy did take off, while the cops are looking for a fugitive, he's an idiot and probably deserved to get shot. But what if the cops just got a little jumpy, and shot first, had to alter the story? That's okay, because they're police? So you're right, thanks for your enlightening post, I wasn't there. Which is why I'm skeptical. Someone mentioned in an earlier post that there will be a full review of the incident, which sounds like I'm not the only one who questions this.

If I had two penises, I'd do her with the one I liked less.

Well, they thought he was Bucky because he a) avoided the checkpoint and ran from police, b) he had a red ATV, and a red ATV was reported stolen right around that time, and c) he had a helmet on so there was no way to identify who it was. I'm not saying the police fabricated that story, but I highly doubt the trooper was dragged for a mile. I've had four-wheelers my whole life, I don't see how it's remotely possible to hold onto an ATV going 40mph over uneven terrain. And then the trooper pulled out his gun as he was being dragged and shot the guy? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I think there's a major part of that story missing.

I LOVE college hoops. I'll watch pretty much any game. Definitely not the case with the NBA. I'm pretty pumped, I've got my 1st and 2nd round tickets for the Tournament went they play at HSBC in Buffalo this spring. I've always wanted to go to the Final Four, I think that would be incredible. Hopefully I can hit one of these in the near future: 2007- Georgia Dome, Atlanta 2008- Alamodome, San Antonio 2009- Ford Field, Detroit 2010- Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis (Did they rename the RCA Dome?) 2011- Reliant Stadium, Houston Rounds 1 & 2 in Buffalo this March and again in 2010

I was all for Bucky originally, but shooting cops is not cool. The amount of money and resources spent on trying to catch him is staggaring, and yet he continues to elude police. However, shooting at unsuspecting cops sniper-style is not a good way to maintain the support of the public. The whole story made for interesting news, but the residual damage is starting to worsen. As of now, there are three wounded troopers, one dead ATV operator who was shot trying to run from a police checkpoint (they thought he was Bucky) and countless stolen cars and burglarized homes. The theft of 40 guns and ammo from a Southern Tier munitions store is troubling. The dude is a lifetime criminal who has spent 26 of the last 28 years in and out of jails. I think it's pretty obvious now that this is going to end badly. Bucky went to Pennsylvania to buy a motorcycle, and has reportedly been seen as far south as Kentucky, but continues to come back to the Southern Tier. Obviously his family and friends (aka food and money) are there, and he knows the terrain, but he could've just as easily rode that bike out to Idaho and lived in the woods there. He clearly gets off on being the center of attention and taunting the police. Let's hope Bucky is the only one who dies when this all plays out. I have no doubt he's going to go down shooting.

Not completely...I think this paragraph illustrates the differences: Carlson said he likes the growth in the region as well as the activity around the mall, the state's top tourist attraction. The Charlotte restaurant is expected to open in fall 2007 near what likely will be another popular neighbor after it debuts in 2009, the NASCAR Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte.

The Redskins are going to be terrible this year. My bro-in-law is a big NYG fan and is concerned about the 'Skins. I think they are going to suck. Eagles win the division, Giants get a WC. Cowboys will follow Bledsoe's lead and remain inconsistent- look great in a win, look terrible in a loss- we know the drill...I see the Skins in last place at 6-10.

There will never be another Dream Team for two reasons. #1- That original Dream Team was a Hall of Fame who's who. Magic, Bird, Jordan, Barkley, Malone...They are the cream of the crop historically when you think hoops. #2- That team revolutionized the game of basketball internationally. The only foreign team that concerned them in 1992 was Lithuania, and the US was 30 points better than them with a hangover. Now, there are 5 or 6 teams that could beat the US on any given day. This US team was well-put together. They played hard and played defense. I didn't see the game, but the reports I heard said they were ice-cold from 3 and couldn't defend a pick-and-roll that Greece ran everytime on offense. Greece is now 8-0 in the tournament, so they can't be that bad. We'll see what type of heart the US team has when they come out for the 3rd place game. If you're going to play, you might as well win... Two thoughts- -Chris Paul is electric. Possibly the best PG in the world right now. -Don't be too upset about the loss. Kobe, Shaq, Garnett and Duncan did not play. Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh are great players, but wouldn't you have preferred Shaq and Duncan in there? Kobe has a better outside shot than LeBron, Wade, and Carmelo. It's not an excuse, US still had the best talent...But we can't expect to throw a USA jersey and any player and still beat the best teams in the world anymore.

I realized they have no clue because they also have the Dolphins going to the Super Bowl. It's impressive that the Fins are going to win the AFC with Bennie Anderson and L.J. Shelton starting on their line. Watch your back, Culpepper. Hopefully Mularkey tells Ronnie Brown not to bounce runs outside so that he can pick up the gritty two yards behind Big Bennie. Another fun fact from the SI preview: The entire NFC East is predicted to go 9-7. I think it's a good division, but I also think the Redskins are going to suck this year. Mark Brunell??? Please.

Since we're playing GM, if I were the Texans GM, I would've drafted Reggie Bush.

That's what I'm saying. Is it so shocking that the star safety for Ohio State got a little ***** in college? I'm 27, I had many close calls and made many 'absent minded' decisions when I was 19, 20, 21....Probably could've happened to everyone on this board at least once in their early 20's, and we weren't starting on the football team on national tv. I'm sure there are girls begging to get knocked up by these guys. -
Is the girl model Elizabeth Smart from Utah? Is the boy model retarded?

Boof won Scotty's rooster contest in the end. The hot blonde (Pamela?) wanted him after he beat down her boyfriend Mick in the finals, but Scotty gave her the Heisman. He did give her the ole in-out in the school dressing room earlier in the movie though. Boof was cute, though not as sexy as the blonde, but it seemed like you could talk her into doing some dirty things.

I think they are very high on Schaub, but they don't trade him because they understand the style that Vick plays leaves him much more susceptable to injury than a normal pocket QB. He has been injured almost every year, and they feel like Schaub can come in a get the job done. He is a free agent after this year, so that's when we will be able to see just how valuable Schaub is to the franchise. It's like the Sabres...They traded Noronen instead of Biron last year, because they felt like they had a championship-caliber squad, and if Miller suffered another freak injury, they would still have a chance with Biron. Like everyone else, I don't think Vick is a great passer, and most WRs will suffer when playing with him. But you can't argue with the Falcons record with Vick vs. without him...They win a lot more with him. Enters the 2006 season ranked sixth in winning percentage among current NFL starting quarterbacks (.618). Vick has a career record of 33-21-1 in games which he started (including 2-2 in the postseason.) Since the start of the 2003 season, Atlanta is 2-13 in games which he did not start.

Don't get too upset...I believe the Mexican team mows the field and does the groundskeeping after their games. -
This post could be met with some resistance, but hear me out...This is possibly my favorite movie of all time- I would nominate Scotty (Michael J. Fox) from Teen Wolf as one of the coolest actors. (Maybe not as cool as Wooderson or Otter or Clint, but definitely in the top 10.) Think about it. Here's my argument: -His hoops jersey said 'Beavers' on it -He was part warewolf -He surfed and did handstands on top of a moving van (Stiles' Wolfmobile) -He convinced the liquor store owner to give him and his underage buddies a keg of beer -He was amazing at basketball when he was the wolf, and he must've dropped 30 pts in the finals as white boy Scotty while leading his low-life team to the title -He sniffed out some ganja in the garage -He had the whole high school doing the Wolf Dance as he was a warewolf in a classy white tuxedo -His buddy Stiles had a whole line of Wolf tshirts and souveniers that the were selling like hotcakes. -He taught the big stud's hot girlfriend how to bowl by rubbing his wolf rooster on her ass, all while the big stud was bowling on the next lane -He played two hot chicks against each other, and ended up bagging them both Ahh yes, Teen Wolf....An American classic. Possibly the biggest Oscar snub of all time.
