  1. I guess I can check mom's gift off the Xmas shopping list.
  2. I am only trying to imagine the hundreds of meetings, design stages, and production tests that must take place to launch a new product. And in this case, not one of those people ever stepped back and said, "My gosh, we're selling a rooster'n'balls." Hilarious.
  3. Un-!@#$ing-real. Morons.
  4. With all of the children Moulds has fathered, I don't think it's breaking news to say he's a fan of bush.
  5. Campus police should wear sashes that say "Hall Monitor." Shouldn't they have been writing parking tickets instead of tasering geeks?
  6. Not looking to bet. I have only seen two halves of Cincy games, one against Ohio State, and one against WVU, and they were solid both times. I can name their QB and that's about it. Rutgers is nowhere near the level where they can look past them, so they better not. I'm not the only one who likes Cincy. The line opened at +8.5 and is now down to +6. Money has been on the Bearcats.
  7. I thought Arnold was Austrian.
  8. First ever #1 vs. #2 OSU-UM matchup, I'm sure he would've loved to have seen it. Too bad. RIP.
  9. Just Louisville. Not Navy or Pitt, they both suck. And I've been saying for almost a month that they will lose to Cincy:
  10. I know, he's always got schemes in the works. I told him I thought the Bills practiced in the AM, but he said he wasn't positive it was a Bill that he sold to, just that it made sense it could've been. I think the $350 overhead to pay someone to hold your place in line for 2+ days is well worth it.
  11. Nice logic. Because the Jets really tanked against the Bills in Week 17, right? They had a shot at the #1 or #2 pick (where everyone was convinced D'Brick was going at the time.) And yes, I'm still enjoying the win.
  12. I thought Roy injured his foot, just because I read this on the Sabres website: A shot must've hit him in the hand. Hopefully he plays. I've thought Roy has been outstanding the last three games. I love the Max-Roy-Vanek line. Stafford has filled in admirably, but that line was just starting to dominate when Max got injured.
  13. The best game Marty played was his only loss. He does (and has throughout his career) give up typically one softie per game. I have no problem with Marty, but I am extremely happy that Miller is our #1. You can't ask much more out of your #2 than what Marty has provided this season and last.
  14. I have no idea. Probably not, as I'm rooting for a blowout either way. I think OSU has the better team, and with the game in Columbus, I see them winning. Michigan's strength (run d) may not slow down Smith and the OSU passing attack too much. But I'm not sure I'd want to give a full 7 to UM. I'll probably end up laying off.
  15. I guess we'll see how Lindy handles it. I suppose all the doctor can do is clear Max for the game; he doesn't decide if he's playing or not.
  16. A friend of mine paid a UB student he knows $350 bucks to wait in line from early Wed AM until Friday AM (worked out to about $6 per hour) and then took his place in line right before the store opened, bought the PS3, and then sold it in the parking lot for $2000 cash to what he said was "probably a Buffalo Bill." He said it was a freakishly large black gentleman who was in a Range Rover. So he made about $1100 doing absolutely nothing.
  17. At the risk of posting 'SOPRANO-like' inside info: My father just met with the doctor. He has the inside info: Max IS playing tonight!
  18. You can scroll through 7 or 8 diffenent threads in the CFB forum and see these same points rehashed over and over again. Ed doesn't want to hear it. He sees that the Big East as a whole is 36-6 in out-of-conference-games (racking up wins against MAC, Conference USA, and D1-AA teams), and notes that the SEC is only 31-15 in non-conference games, so the Big East is automatically better. He can't fathom that 75% of the top-25 would be undefeated also if they played Rutgers schedule. Don't bother him. He's got his red sweatshirt on, the smell of garbage is wafting through the air, Jovi is blasting on the stereo, and girls with nasally accents and stonewashed jeans are watching football. Let Jersey have their moment.
  19. He may come off the bench to start the year, but look for Devendorf to start playing the point in order to get Harris in the lineup. Harris can play the 2, 3, or 4. If he's not already, he will be Cuse's best player by February.
  20. My father is at the doctor's office right now getting an MRI on his elbow, and he just sent me an email from his blackberry that said Max is there too. Hopefully he's getting cleared for tonight.
  21. OSU 28-20 if I bet Ohio State. OSU 27-21 if I take Michigan.
  22. I liked the one where Peter North repeatedly stabbed Aurora Snow with his pork sword.
  23. The gray season has descended on WNY. Thanks sun! See you in April!
