  1. The best band and the best team? A USC Trojans fan I see.
  2. The best way is with a pen and something to write on.
  3. Agreed. Nothing but solid decision makers down there in Zona. Clearly the Bills perceived something wrong with Shelton, and the Cards confirmed it when they later released him. The guy sounds like a bum. TD got a 3rd rounder and I think that was about as good as it gets. The Pats traded the last pick of the second round for Corey Dillon, thus setting the bar for future trades. I'd take Dillon over Henry any day every day.
  4. Culpepper will have another monster year, at least fantasy-wise
  5. Exactly. I don't understand how you came up with those five. I'd take Rob Johnson.
  6. I can't confirm and I don't have a link for this, but I remember hearing a rumor that Travis Henry got busted with weed at the Rookie Orientation several years ago. Did anyone else hear that, or was it a rumor?
  7. I believe Butch tried, but Verba wore his cup 24 hours a day just in case of such an incident
  8. Not a huge fan of the uni's, but I dig the Budweiser bowtie on the helmets.
  9. Agreed. I wouldn't judge his character on this situation alone. He definately got bent over by Butch Davis. Of course, he should know the ol' verbal "promise" doesn't get you anywhere. But the Browns lied to him and he was pissed, and I can't blame him for wanting to start somewhere else. Maybe if you're on a good team and you like your situation, you think of the whole and try to work it out. But hey, it's Cleveland. Get me out.
  10. All those "Champion" tshirts printed for the losing team's locker room are sent to Africa to clothe the poor. Somewhere there is a man in Ghana who thinks the Buffalo Bills had the greatest team ever assembled. (You mean they didn't?) http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/news/articles.asp?id=31909
  11. Tell her they're male strippers.
  12. There's some potential at left tackle in that group. Not Turgeon though.
  13. Worst thing I saw on TV this year: Bills-Steelers in early January. It only aired once, but the repeat has been on in my mind ever since
  14. Who are the 50% of losers who have not had a beer in the past month? Come on people. you're dragging us down! If there's one list Buffalo should be on top of, it's this one! Perhaps once the season starts, that number jumps into the mid 80's.
  15. If your friend is gay, I know Jeff Garcia is in Detroit now, perhaps they can meet up...
  16. Three balls out of 48 (6.25%) does not make me feel confident. If you want to talk conspiracy, I hate to say it, but this kid will go to the Leafs. Do you think the NHL was excited when Tampa Bay (!!!) beat a Canadian team for the Cup? If the fix is in, they will send the hometown boy to Toronto.
  17. Some strange comparisons, but the article did have some good points. Most notable, and one I haven't heard too often, is the fact that the team would've gone into the tank if Gregg Williams had gotten them off to an 0-4 start. I think that certainly would've been the case, and speaks to the job MM did of sticking to his plan and not pressing the panic button. I also agree with the statement that JP can't be much worse than Bledsoe. He'll throw his share of picks, but he'll also make some plays that will give us an exciting glimpse of his potential. I think the over/under of 8.5 wins is right on, and I'll take the over at 9-7.
  18. What do you tell a girl with two black eyes? Nothing. You already told her twice.
  19. Looking optimistically, I would hope Rosenhaus and Willis see their situation a little differently than T.O. The Bills drafted Willis in the 1st round when he said himself he was hoping for 3rd round and was dying at the thought of not getting drafted at all. On top of that, the Bills paid him similar, with incentives, to what he would have been paid as a top-5 pick. That was the most gruesome leg injury I have ever seen. You would hope Willis and his tool agent would show a little loyalty to the team that drafted him, paid him, and gave him a year to rehab. However, I know the flip side of the coin is, where is the loyalty when the running back turns 32, and you cut him? I can't answer that. But I would assume if Willis has an above average year in yardage and td's, the Bills will try to work out an extension with a nice signing bonus before Rosenhaus comes yaking on his cell phone.
  20. I was at the NYJ game last year. I believe I would've died if the Jets kicker had missed the fieldgoal at the end to win 16-14. My buddy and I were jumping on each other after Bledsoe hit Evans with the bomb to take the lead. Took a hot pretzel off the head. (I had a Jimbo tshirt on). We had three seats, and our other buddy was a Jets fan, so I assume he couldve talked us out of there. But maybe he would've pounded us also. I went to the game in San Fran right after Xmas last year. The fans were pretty down; they had a horrible year and the Bills were working them over. In the 3rd quarter I went to get a hotdog and I got a few Norwood catcalls and some Wide Rights. I told my dad I was actually excited to hear their fans say something. It's expected and almost disappointing when they don't. Thats half the fun of an away game is cheering for the "wrong" team. I must admit I give opposing fans some beef at the Ralph. Always try to be respectful of the youngsters, but I don't want some punks to feel like they can yuck it up. Oh yeah, and I have a voucher for one toss of a hot pretzel to a Jets fan's head.
  21. Yeah, it'd be nice to have Roy Williams in the strong safety spot, he definately lays the stick on people. You need a ballhawk back there with him though cause we saw last season how he can be torched in coverage. Are some big pops worthy of a few big plays by the offense? That's the tradeoff with RW. Wouldn't you prefer Ed Reed? I definately would.
  22. The only way a trade goes through is if the team receiving Henry signs him to a long term (3+ years) contract. There will be nobody trading for him without first signing him to an extension.
  23. I'm too cool for school baby. What kind of disaster looks for help from a bunch of stooges like myself and others found on this board? Also, I have an assignment...A little summer project to score as much tail as possible...Meazza do you have a sister?
  24. Sorry, to clarify, I mean Henry is overrated by the Bills and us as fans. I believe he is better than a midlevel pick, but the rest of the league doesn't (yet)
  25. I think it's pretty obvious that THenry is the most overrated player, seeing as other teams see him equal to a 4th round pick. Underrated- The 12th Man of course!!!! The beer sales don't lie!!!
