Every team has injuries. The good teams win regardless of who gets hurt when. Sure it would've sucked to lose Nate because of a preseason injury, but I don't think it was bad that he was in there. Obviously, every play of every game presents an injury risk. We don't know, maybe MM and JG had things they felt needed work and they decided to play the D for 5 or 6 series. Returning punts is another matter though. That is exponentially more dangerous than playing your position. Especially in the 4th preseason game, when you have borderline guys trying to earn a job with their special teams play. A rookie knows that beating the blockers and knocking Nate Clements' helmet off with a booming hit might earn him a roster spot.

Man, that s#it was awsome (except for A's fans). I will watch that any day. I would have to say the Titans return is the most painful, but wide right burns something fierce. No goal was bad, but it's not like the other two- overtime just would have continued and who's to say the Sabres would have won? (A legal goal by the Sabres that got called back would have been more painful.) But the Throwback and Norwide, there was Bills victory hanging in the balance.

And play all of the Positions?

She was ANGRY about the whole situation...but she sounded hilarious with her French-Canadian accent. She was talking about using helicopters to save people but they can only get one at a time, "why don't they use a kayak?" About the looters, she said "These people have never even touched these things before, they just want to touch them. Let them touch them!" She also said something about donating "One million dollar" (not plural) that Stern and Artie kept laughing at and repeating. But she was talking real fast and was very passionate about it which made it sound even funnier. Car-wreck is a good way to describe it.

Did anyone hear Celine Dion's rant on Larry King? I heard it yesterday on Howard Stern. She was out of her mind. It was actually pretty hilarious. Not sure if anyone heard it or if they know where to find the audio, but it has to contain a few of the greatest soundbites to come out of all of this.

WTF does that mean? Bledsoe didn't get blitzed? I don't know what you were watching last year. Teams knew if they blitzed, they would know where to find DB. At least this year we will have a QB equipped to maybe make a play, or at least get out of the pocket and hum it OB and avoid a sack when there is a jailbreak through the line. Willis gained 1100 yards in 11 games last year. T. Henry over 1300 the previous two. I think teams can stack the box all they want, the Bills will find a way to run on them. It may be three to four yds at a time but that is how the team is built right now. RB, Punter, and D are our greatest assets right now. I expect teams to blitz JP, just like teams have been blitzing us for the past three years, and just like the Bills D does to every QB. I just think JP has the ability to make the line look better than DB did.

I'm not the biggest fan, but Coldplay must be a decent band if they can polarize people enough to warrant 70+ posts on the topic. Those of you who like Coldplay- Enjoy Those of you who dislike them- Enjoy something else No sense arguing about it in a message board. They're a band, not everyone is going to like their music. But posting why you're view is right and the other side is wrong is useless. Besides, you're taking space away from those who want to post the classic all-time music rant: "Everything on the radio sounds the same!"

Teams keyed on Willis last year. Nobody was scared of Bledsoe beating them. Willis, Shelton, and the OL know what 8 in the box looks like. They'll be fine. Factor in JP's running on 3rd down and in the red zone. If he's throwing just okay, we've got a pretty multi-dimensional attack. By the way, I don't even know what this original post was about. I've heard nothing but confidence from players and coaches. They all want to clean up the mess they made against Pitts last year.
