Martha Burk complaining about NHL ads...
smokinandjokin replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope the provocatively dressed woman made the hockey player some dinner before the big game. Maybe that's the double-entendre, "Are you ready for your dinner?" And? Still waiting for your point Martha. -

This was expected, but not this early. It could get ugly. Levees breached

So hot. She looks good in every pic. The fact that she's French makes me want to give it to her worse.

Shredd and Regan are a morning radio show in Buffalo. They have a contest for the hottest news babe. They held a vote with the chicks from each channel, leaving one babe per channel plus one wild card. Check 'em out They are a little weak across the board IMO. My vote goes to Kelly Kraft, even though I have never seen her on TV, only in this pic.

Candy for the ex-Bills player haters!

I do not recall a CB named Jimmy Williams. Can someone enlighten me? It is not the former J.D. Williams (Bills 90-93) making a comeback after 12 years, is it? -
Indy (-13.5) home vs. Cleveland. Indy will want to prove that last week was an aberration and that they do have a powerhouse offense. Plus Cleveland's defense is pathetic. Don't let the big number scare you away- Philly was favored by the same amount last week and they beat S.F. by 40.

Wendy has got some bio there: I've personally had some of the same reviews about my performance. Especially the quick part.

The struggles of JP and the Buffalo offense

I refuse to read a post which is that long telling me why the Bills won't score. -
The AFC East has been considered by many to be the toughest division in the NFL since 2002. With all four teams tied at 1-1, a victory by any of the four this weekend would be huge, since all will have to bring their A-game. Atlanta @ Buffalo Jacksonville @ NY Jets Carolina @ Miami New England @ Pittsburgh Jags-Jets loses a little luster since both Leftwich and Martin are banged up, but both are expected to play. Carolina should probably work Miami, and Falcons-Bills will probably be a low scoring toss-up. The doozy is Pats-Steelers, and it is a 4pm game, so I may pop into the Big Tree after the Bills game to catch that one. Steelers should win, but every time you think the Pats are down....

They seem to be leaving out the fact that the Katrina victims were not taken to forced labor camps and then mass-murdered in ovens. The transportation of people and the splitting up of families is not why we remember the Holocaust. I guess when you're not a popular broadcast you have to try to be over-the-top in an attempt to be controversial.

Peter, c'mon man...You're really using this as a defense for Bledsoe? Were you in a cave for 2003 and 2004?

Who the hell needs Crosby......

I hate to spoil the party, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the Sabres will be in their usual spot, the same as all of other Sabres teams Lindy Ruff has coached: hovering around .500 and in 7th, 8th, or 9th in the conference, battling for that final playoff spot. It seems almost automatic. They will beat the Leafs, Flyers, and Bruins in a week, and then lose to Nashville, Columbus, and Carolina in the next week. Of course, like the other Lindy teams, once they get into the playoffs, it's a crapshoot...Solid PP and goaltending can make it happen... -
I had to post this in PPP cause that's the only spot you can add attachments. So Like Us Jane Goodall would be proud.

...said Dennis, as he puts the cap back on his prescription cream. -
Well then you better call the NFL and get the Rams, Seahawks, Cardinals, Browns, and 49ers back on the schedule. Our defense dominated these stojan teams so completely that we could've had this guy playing and we still would've won.

Are the Bickering Bills coming back?
smokinandjokin replied to The_Real's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It appears the low morale and in-fighting is not restricted to the Bills- Attached: The Buffalo News September 21, 2005 THE BUFFALO BICKERING IS BACK AGAIN Shades of the '89 Bills return to Orchard Park by Mark Gaughan The locker room is tense. There is behind-the-back name calling and finger pointing. The coach is involved, and of course, so is the media. Is it Jimbo and House, Bruce and Thurman, and the rest of the 1989 Bickering Bills? No, it's much worse: The Bickering Jills. It's come to this. The Bills' biggest supporters have some serious "in-house" issues to clear up before Sunday's game against Atlanta. The team had an excellent offseason and were considered to be in top form heading into the home opener. While the product on the field appeared flawless, the catfighting and name calling began almost immediately afterwards during postgame interviews. Among the comments overheard: "Look how much cleavedge Jessica was showing. I know she altered her outfit." "All I know is I wasn't the one who missed that dance step between the third and fourth quarters?" "How come everyone loves that skank Melissa?" With an off-week for the Jills when the boys were on the road in Tampa, coach Eileen Dover knew she had to make the most of that time to prepare the team for their upcoming game with Atlanta. "It's been tough. We have a young squad and we're going through some growing pains. But we will work it out internally." Dover says she spent most of the off-week working on team-building activities, as well as educating her squad on the dangers of Herpes. "With Ron Mexico coming to town, I am issuing a 7pm curfew on Saturday night. If he gets a hold of a few of my girls, I could be looking at an extensive injury report." Dover is confident that a solid performance on Sunday could be the start of a wave that the team rides into January. And that's all the fans in Buffalo want. -
Last season vs. Pittsburgh was a make-or-break game. I would not consider Week 3 vs. Atlanta in that category. The Bills will not be eliminated if they lose to last year's NFC conference finalists early in the season. I know you can make the argument that any one of the first four games last year was just as important as the Pittsburgh game, which is true. A win is a win. But early on they are not make-or-break, as a 6-game winning streak can change everything.

They have a "Buffalo vs. Mexico" t-shirt if you click on the left hand side. Some of these are pretty funny. The Legendary Ron Mexico The herpes explains why Peerless Price didn't work out in Atlanta- He didn't want to catch anything from Vick I hope TKO brings some Valtrex Sunday after tackling this clown.

One thing I like about JP
smokinandjokin replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like that JP got benched and then came back and had his only productive drive of the day. I like his cannon right arm. I like when he runs. Everyone has a hissy fit around here, but I dig it. Perhaps an injury would change my tune, but for now, take off!!! I like that I saw him in a bar on Chippewa in the offseason with some other Bills. I like that he is not afraid to admit his homoerotica meetings with Brett Favre. -
Yeah, I hear that. It seems a lot of Big 10 teams tend to lose that one game that could put them over the top. It's hard to believe that Purdue could be the undefeated Big 10 champ this year (mainly because they don't play OSU or UM). And I know what you're saying, I hate taking all fav's. I thought I'd take Wisconsin just because they are the only unranked team in the bunch this week.
