Were you a male cheerleader in college? -
I suppose it is possible. Everyone is confirming KH as the starter except for the team. None of us have the Top Secret Security Clearance to discuss the issue with Mularkey. If he thinks he's being sneaky by forcing the Dolphins to prepare for two QB's, he's an idiot. Especially when Miami is coming off a bye week, and has probably already reviewed every possible scenario for this game. Starting KH wouldn't surprise them, since he played the whole 4th quarter last week. All the signs are pointing to Holcomb. JP has had a conference call with the opposing team's beat writers the first four weeks, and this week, the Bills send Troy Vincent. Also, no Wednesday at the podium with the Bills writers for JP. I say there's at the most a 20% chance JP starts.

Website to get Ralph into the Hall of Fame

You remember it because Buffalo had a team, which wouldn't have been the case without Ralph. -

The G-Men were 5-3 when they benched Warner last year. The Rams won the wild card at 8-8. Those games meant a lot from a standings perspective, and yet the Giants didn't waver from playing their future. Looks pretty good now.... -
Man, she is bangin hot!!! If I could have 30 mins with any chick, it would have to be Jessica Alba. I am very disappointed she won't do me. I think even the girlfriend would give me a pass if that opportunity ever came up. (Not like I wouldn't do it anyways if my girl didn't give me the okay!!!)

Agreed. I always want the Bills to win. But in this situation, you have to consider- winning at the cost of what? I don't think people here are fickle. They have the best interests of the Bills in mind. They are worried that putting in a career backup QB just to win a few more games will ultimately do nothing other than retard JP's growth and give the Bills a worse draft pick. They drafted JP and went with him as the starter to be a long term solution at quarterback. They need to stick with it. 9-7 wins the East? So what? 8-8 won the wild card in the NFC last year, and the Giants benched Kurt Warner when they were 5-2, so they could play the future. Eli is a different QB now than he was in those 9 games last year. -
Mularkey continued to say throughout his press conference Wednesday: "I will not discuss the starters for either team." He said this over and over and over again, every time the media tried to pursue the issue. Had I been granted a media credential, I would have said: "Fair enough Mike. I understand. Nothing further about the starters. With that in mind, who will the BACKUP quarterback be on Sunday?" HAHAHA, that would've got him.

Beating your sh*t-squad with our backup will make the taste of victory even sweeter.

I still say Losman. Alba's arm strength and decision making are questionable.

Instead of a Babe of the day....
smokinandjokin replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice one. Although I did specifically come over to see a babe after getting all worked up on the main board. But I did get a chuckle. You might as well put up a picture of Holcomb and his girl arm also. -
What kind of car does JP drive?
smokinandjokin replied to DeeRay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like JP crashed and Son of Satan's car is in the shop. Now TD has a rental and only Holcomb is old enough to drive it. -
Helloooo? This change might not be permanent

Easy schmuck. You're buying into the same b.s. that Donahoe has been stuffing down everyone's throat. Perhaps everyone grossly overestimated the abilities of this team and their coaching staff. They (as did I) made Bledsoe the whipping boy, and hid the rest of the team's defficiencies under his. Now they're doing it with JP. The kid NEEDS one thing- playing time. -
ESPN's Lenny P says it is Holcomb on Sunday...

What is with Mularkey's smug attitude? He has been a first-rate prick this year when dealing with the media. He hides information, gives snide answers to questions, and gets all defensive if a media-member questions one of his decisions. For example- Media: "Mike, what was behind the decision to pull Villareal for Duke Preston on that last drive?" MM: "Villareal was winded and needed a breather." Media: "Don't you think that was a critical point in the game and you would want your veteran in there?" MM: "Oh, I see, so now you know more about my team than I do." What is that? I used to like this guy, but now he looks like a coach who is 10-10 and does not have his team prepared to start a season. Last year, we chalked it up to him being new. Now I chalk it up to him being an a$$. Hopefully this is all hogwash and JP starts Sunday. I want nothing to do with the Kelly Holcomb era. -
<------- This guy is pretty old, he probably gets LOST in his backyard.

not official, but WGR reports Holcomb will start
smokinandjokin replied to DPR4444's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why not just bring in Holcomb on 3rd down? That way (since it's an obvious passing down) Willis and JP can both take breathers if they're winded. -
Bills receivers overrated?
smokinandjokin replied to Bob Lablaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So are you saying there are more than 8 teams in the league who wouldn't take those three over the three they currently have? -
Obervation about SB loss against Giants

Bills receivers overrated?
smokinandjokin replied to Bob Lablaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's still wanting to prove himself- He was so good, no other NFL team even sneezed at him. But he'd be the best receiver on the Bills. Don't fall in love with stats he gathered against a bunch of other guys who got cut. -

This is hilarious...Scroll down the page, and they have photos of all the great Giants from past and present. Somehow Scott Norwood snuck in there and is the only non-Giant on the list... http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nfl/nyg/nygiantsimages.html -

smokinandjokin replied to Bob Lablaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ummm...no I would say at least 3/4 of the NFL would take Moulds, Evans, and Reed as their three receivers. -
From ESPN.com's uni-watch: Anyone who thinks Uni Watch makes too much of a fuss about sportswear logos should take a look at Bills QB J.P. Losman. The rest of the team's white jersey sleeves look like this, but Losman's preference for shortened sleeves results in the Reebok logo moving up onto his shoulder yoke(a literal, non-metaphorical example of logo creep!), which sure looks, uh, professional. Can someone at Reebok please explain why Losman's logo has to appear on a splotchy white background, instead of just using the blue background of the jersey itself, as is the case on Losman's blue jersey? Better yet, can anyone at all explain why we need to see the Reebok logo on anyone's jersey ever again? I guess JP wants the shorter sleeves to showcase his guns.
