Keep it goin! I was on a season-long tear last year. Everytime I looked at the lines, three games would jump out at me as automatic, and they would always come through. This year, I am breakin even with the NFL, but making my scratch in the NCAA. NFL has been frustrating, but I was playing a lot of games straight. I realized there were many times when I was giving 6 and the team would win by 4. That was about three weeks ago, since then I've been playing a lot of teasers. Sounds like you've had the idea all along!

Going to the game tonight???

This is the kind of jerkoff move that will cause the Steelers to not cover tonight. If that's the case, I'm coming looking for you!!!! -
(OT)Is Donovan McNabb a future hall of famer?

I'll say yes. His team always contends for the title. He can do a little of everything. And that Chunky Soup is so damn delicious. -

Why is your franchise receiver out in the flat
smokinandjokin replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Really? I didn't know that. Regardless, could not be covered last night. 9 catches for 125 is a lot better than whoever "our best receiver" you are referring to produced. -
QB that was missed last night

The only place Bledsoe would've made a difference is in Vegas. I think the bookies are happy because there was a lot of money on New England last night. Bledsoe would've ensured that the Pats covered the 9.5 point spread. -

I think it's obvious that Moulds was not the #1 option. But the point is, why not? Decoys are great and can work during the course of the game. But when you have one play to keep the chance of victory alive, you do not decoy with your best receiver. A dump off option is important. Holcomb CANNOT take a sack there, and if there is pressure (which there really wasn't) he needs an outlet to at least avoid a sack and give the chance for someone to make guys miss and pick up a first down. So why not Shaud Williams? Run Moulds on an eight yard route along with Parrish and Evans. The Bills took Moulds out of the play before it even started. -
Sam Adams Sounds Like He's Leaving

Bannann played okay, he was disruptive on several plays. But none of those clowns replace Fat Sam. Anderson doesn't have it. -
It was clear the Pats DB's knew not to go high on WM, or they would have his paw on their helmet. They were very effective streaking up and chopping Willis down low. That one hit was very similar to the one against Ohio State where Willis.....nevermind......

Did you play a teaser with UCLA? I was laying 7 straight, so once it went OT, the best they could win by was 6. Nice comeback though; 21 pts in the last 7 mins.

Wow man, nice action! I was two for three on Saturday, losing only the UCLA game. I won with Fresno St. and the over in Texas-OSU. Yesterday I didn't do too much...Gave the points with the Chargers and won, and teased the Pats with the Steelers. I have the Steelers tonight at -4. Nice pull though, that suddenly makes that Bills loss rather irrelevant....financially at least... Don't want to lay the jinx, but I don't see Pittsburgh struggling to cover tonight.....GOOD LUCK

Yeah, that's pretty much the point I'm making. Moulds was uncoverable for the majority of the night, and they use him as a two-yard decoy? Shaud Williams was very effective on some little dumps and screens, why not have him over there as an outlet? All it does is leave the coaching staff open to second-guessing. Like you mentioned above, same as the Shelton play. If McGahee goes full steam for the end zone on 4th and 1 and is stopped, you can live with that. But Shelton? Come on!!! Same thing on the 4th down last night. Throw to Moulds for eight yards. Overthrow, pass knocked down, etc. you can live with. Lobbing the short one with no prayer of picking up 7 is what stings. (The short pass also removes any potential for a pass interference call.) Typical overthinking from MM and the boys. -
Willis was far and away the best player on the field last night. Other than break a 50-yarder for the go-ahead TD on the last drive, he did everything possible to win this game for the Bills.

Question regarding Bills' "streak" on ESPN
smokinandjokin replied to SoCal Pat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Houston in 2002. -
Two things I have never seen before occured last night: How great was that to hear the ref say that the Pats made an "unnatural act?" The announcer referred to it as an uncommon act, but the ref definitely said "unnatural." Of course, ESPN felt we did not need to see a replay of this unnatural act. The new stat, specifically for Tedy Bruschi, for "Hits." WTF is that? It was never even defined. Is getting drilled by Shelton considered a hit? If that's a real stat, than Willis was collecting 3 hits per run when he was bowling over people. I have also never seen any player drop the ball to grab their leg. Hilarious. The announcer (or maybe Suzy) referred to it as a potential cramp; Pass better hope it was more serious than that. Other than the Moulds pass interference, and the possible catch/non-catch by Branch, the Bills finally got most of the breaks against these clowns.

Will the Bills make the playoffs
smokinandjokin replied to Clockwork's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Simple answer: The Bills will need a minimum of 6-2, possibly 7-1, to make the playoffs. Not happenin. NFC West, where are you when we need you? -
Steve Czaban of Fox Sports Radio:
smokinandjokin replied to philburger1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was pathetic. After we had already heard 30 times how he saw 10 doctors, we had to hear Robert Kraft rehash it for the 31st as game-changing plays were occuring. They talk about Bruschi like he was God's gift, but all they ever showed was him wrapping up McGahee's legs for one tackle, and then swinging and missing on Roscoe. He was invisible other than that (aka doing his best London Fletcher impersonation.) -
Sure I'm mad at Holcomb for throwing short to Moulds on our last offensive play, but what kind of call is that? How could they possbily call a play which is designed to have your #1 receiver run a two yard route? I'm sure Holcomb looked downfield, and he knows he can't take a sack there, but to expect Moulds to pickup 5,6,7 yards on his own is rediculous. Left a real bad taste in my mouth.

Metallica sounds outstanding covering Skynard's "Tuesday's Gone" -
Excellent. He's becoming the only thing worth watching this season. If our D keeps up at their current rate, we'll be able to watch him return kicks quite a bit.

Just like in the playoffs.....

To properly analyze this dream, I will need to know, in detail, what the nurses were wearing. Specifically, length of skirts, visible cleavedge, etc.
