Saturday 6.7.08, my eldest dau is getting married. Future son in law is a good guy. They will accompany me and Mrs. Lew to the Home Opener as he has never been to a NFL game. What better than the Bills as an introduction to pro football. The dog in my avatar is their dog named Callie

Tuesday night FX will return with Morgan Spurlock's show 30 DAYS. Tonight Morgan spends 30 days in Pineville WV , working in a coal mine. This is just a stone's throw from my locale. A preview was shown in a local theatre and the reviews from miners is positive. Morgan 'got' what it is to work in a mine. Morgan Spurlock's first claim to fame was "Super Size Me"

I just thought that since there are so many Canadian born players that both anthems would be played.... and it usually occurs that a Canadian based team is in the finals. Last year Ottawa,,,Edmonton before that. regardless...NBC did not telecast the anthem,,, I miss HNIC

Stanley Cup telecast Sat night. I was in WNY Sat and got to watch the CBC broadcast... CBC >>>>> NBC > Versus... THREE questions... Why doesn't NBC show the singing of the National Anthems ? Why wasn't "Oh Canada " sung in Pittsburgh ? Where does Don Cherry get his jackets ???

I don't really care who wins.. I just feel sorry for the winning team's captain who has to shake Gary Bettman's hand after receiving Lord Stanley's Cup. IMHO,,Bettman is THE worst comissioner in all of professional sports.

Rooney was ticked off..His Blood Pressure musta been sky high... I did the DVR thing and did not allow for OT....So the recording I made stopped in the 3rd minute of the second OT...AARGGHH... I thought the game started at 2 PM...but there was 45 minutes of talking heads and their blathering.. What I saw of the match was well played and there were several scoring chances for both teams....
