IMO, the best part about being there!
Exactly,,,,,hopefully the Bills score a lot and there is LOTS of high fiving.
The home opener (2008) had a lot of that too.
It was my SIL's first NFL game ever and he got a kick out of the
high fiving and SHOUT !

Yes they were....well some were...
Some were opened and we got wet....
But thankfully not 'bonked'
I also remember my dad breaking up a fight after a game on the
way to the car. He was a big guy, but my mom was ticked off.
"What if one of the fighting idiots had a knife' was her concern.
Another memory...
Going to Chin's Chinese restaurant on Main Street before a game.
Started my love of Chinese food.

64 AFL Championship from the Rockpile was not on local TV.....channel 2.
Dad and a buddy from his work and I went to a state park in the Southern Tier.
Hooked up a portable TV to the car battery and watched the game
in the car.
Also, I remember the rain of beer cans at the Rockpile when the fans were
in a foul mood. I think this was a game against the Pats.

The shocker is that it took until the fifth week for a Pacman incident.
I figured it would happen in the pre-season...
what a knothead

When I read the title, I thought this was about a big East Coast Tsunami...

Elaine: I've yada yada'd sex.
George: Really?
Elaine: Yeah. I met this lawyer, we went out to dinner, I had the lobster bisque, we went back to my place, yada yada yada, I never heard from him again.
Jerry: But you yada yada'd over the best part.
Elaine: No, I mentioned the bisque.
This is one of my favorite Seinfeld lines also...

I said I wouldn't watch. I said I'll just watch a little bit, until the kick. I watched the kick sail wide STILL trying to somehow will it to go through.
Yes, it would have been great to win one. For the city and the players of what was THE greatest team to never win the title. I am convinced of that.
But somehow, after taking that program in, I wonder, will this just make the day when the Bills win the Super Bowl that much better? When all the bitter memories and mocking laughter from jackasses who don't have a clue what it's like to suffer as we have suffered are washed away? When the day comes when we will be redeemed, when the Bills will be finally on top? Won't it be even better?
And take this to heart my friends, when that day comes, and it WILL come, the day the team brings that trophy back to the city, the fans of Buffalo will show America what a REAL celebration is. We will show them a crowd in the streets the likes of which this country has never seen...
MadCap....I'll be with ya in that parade and celebration...
It might be -12* in Buffalo that February day, but no one will notice.

Not watching ...only because our cable does not have the NFL Network.

My favorite sound... "The first place 3--0 Buffalo Bills", < from any announcer.
My favorite sight...The camera shot of the fair weather Foxoboro fans exiting the Stadium during the Miami trouncing.

wow forgot about dieken
The Browns were playing the Buccaneers when they had the Selmon Brothers (Several years ago)
and the announcers were touting how great they were.
In the middle of the fourth qtr. the announcers (probably that Browns hating Trumpy)
figured out that they had not called the Selmon name one time as Doug
had man-handled him all day. Dieken was great in that he would not practice
all week due to injuries, but he'd show up on Sunday and perform at a top level.
-
Seen, in person >> Doug Dieken #73 Cleveland Browns,,,. Joe D... then Billy Shaw
via TV...Orlando Pace

Many thanks to all who organized the tailgate.
And HUGE thanks to the chefs who prepared the wings, Sahlen Hot Dogs and
the other fine food.
My Son-In-Law attended his first ever NFL game and enjoyed everything about it.
(well , except the rain) ...We went to Kenny's Pinto and did a bowling ball shot.
As we headed back to Lewiston, he asked, "Can we do this again next year?"
WTG Bills and all the good peeps who were at the TBD tailgate

Lindell's recovery on the fumbled kickoff. How many times do you see the kicker get a fumbled ball

After a trip to Sam's club, we'll bring a large jar of Utz pretzels and some Chex mix.

Elbow grease.. We had a new janitor who was cleaning the tile floor. I mentioned that she needed to apply some elbow grease. She asked (in all seriousness) "Can I get that at the Storeroom?"
have to mention that she was 20 and this might have been her first job...She was more interested
in talking on her cell phone than cleaning and did not last long
