  4. Poojer...Did you ever run that 10K you mentioned? I went to the Doc and she offered a stretching regime, that after time has reduced the pain and discomfort. I have taken Aleve and that seems to help too. Rolling the tennis ball with the bottom of the foot also works. But the best suggestion has come from the wife of a co-worker. She is a runner, competing in many local races. She suggested to sleep with a shoe on the affected foot. Mrs. Lew was skeptical at first, but the first steps in the AM are not painful as before. Last weekend was THE tester as I refereed 8 soccer matches at a tournament. Monday AM was fine. Hopefully this combination of treatments will work as I am already planning for HS refereeing this Fall.
  5. I still hate the Flyers from the 1975 Stanley Cup finals..
  6. Astro guy, you are correct ,,, Joe Walsh left in late 1971. and Tarkus is a GREAT album IMHO
  7. That concert at Rich in 1974 was great. Lynryd Skynyrd was the warmup group and they were very good. The James Gang (Joe Walsh) was in the middle... Ho-Hum ELP was great and the speakers in each corner of the endzone provided great sound. I remember how hard the astroturf was and that would have been terrible to play football on

  18. Got back to WV on Tuesday night. The Toyota dealership in Morgantown did not get the new radiator on Monday, as they promised. So we stayed an extra day in Lewiston. So the plan was to drive the rental car back to Morgantown on Wed, pick up my Avalon (Mrs. Lew's actually) and return the rental car. I left S WV around 9AM and planned to arrive in Morgantown around noon. I called ahead , 'just to make sure' When I arrived the dealership told me they had the wrong radiator and called around the Morgantown area to get a replacement. It would be ready by 3:30--4:00. At 4 the cell phone rang and they said the car was ready. I dropped off the rental and picked up the Avalon. After driving 20 miles the temp gauge started to fluctuate between the middle indicator and 90% Hot...I got gas half way ...The fluctuating stopped and now the gauge is between 80 and 90% hot but not in the orange warning area. When I got to my driveway, the resevoir tank was boiling and spilled on the driveway. I called a local auto shop and the car is there now getting a new thermostat or water pump... It seems crazy to dump all this $$ repairing the car, but it is a great car and I like not having a loan...Even though these repairs seem like making a car payment,,,.... Needless to say I am ticked at the Morgantown Toyota place and will give them a call after the local guy fixes what they did not.
