When we started separating garbage a bunch of years back... Our bill went down. Then they added garbage to Our water bill. I take people weren't paying and they were sharing 92 gallon toters with neighbors.
The bill is creeping up to where it was. When it reaches that old number... I won't separate my garbage anymore. It's all going in regular garbage. This isn't about the environment. It's about making $$$$.
Don't give me a garbage bill... And I will gift wrap every piece...
40 years ago... In Scouts, we had "paper drives"... Who's getting that money today off the backs of your labor? Separating your garbage... And you're being charged a bill.
We got the Big Guy talking hoaxes... Follow a garbage truck on garbage day.
Our Scout troop in Lewiston did paper drives every year. Used the funds for camping trips at Camp Northern Lights in Canada.
We would fill a tractor trailer full of paper an magazines. Every now and then an 'adult' magazine would be found.
Stacking the papers was halted for a few minutes.

If you are able to, play a course immediately after a PGA or LPGA event.
I have played at Wacasaw East in Myrtle Beach and Jack Nicklaus's course in Mason OHafter a LPGA event. Conditions are top notch to say the least.

I'm getting old and was on vacation last week so my days are jumbled.
Still, a GREAT day for USA sports

On this day 40 years ago, the single greatest sporting event in USA's sports history occurred.
The Miracle on Ice to me is the best sports result, (Until the Bills win the Super Bowl, of course)
I still remember when Mike Eruzione scored with 10 minutes to go and figured the next 10 minutes would drag on
for a very long time.
Gonna watch "Miracle" tonight no matter what Mrs. Lew says.

We keep looking for a new house with those features. We have been quasi-looking for so long, I doubt we will ever find it (single story home, on an escarpment with a view of Toronto, next door to a winery, would be ideal! ? ). We won't build, we'd end up divorced, so I would not be surprised if we are in our "forever home." We figure we will install an elevator (there are several spots we could do it without having to resort to the chair the guy used in Up!) which sounds like a crazy investment, but compared to moving, would be downright economical. The house you want is in Lewiston, next to the Niagara Falls Country club. There are several adjacent to NFCC. Better win the lottery to afford the house and the taxes.

They were the first band I ever saw live. I was holding out hope recently that somehow I'd get a chance to see them one more time.
To see Rush as your first concert is like hitting a Homer Run in your first at bat in MLB.

Deep Tracks on Sirius/XM is a great channel
Perhaps a Rush channel will soon be established

Thank You Tennessee.
It was a bad day for "my" teams.
Marshall lost
WVU lost
The Bills lost.
Ugh
and then Tennessee brightened up the day with their victory

Are Car Dealerships and/or DMVs Closed Down in Your State?
in Off the Wall Archives
Posted
West (By God) Virginia has closed the DMV offices, but the majority of transactions can be done
online, in the mail (renewals) or at several Kiosks located around the state.
Dealerships are open. Co-worker bought a car this weekend. If you saw the old one,
you'd understand.
