who is gonna actually pay Owens next season?
smuvtalker replied to trolls_r_us's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Excellent post, start to finish. There is no denying that T.O. is a pompous, "i'm better than you and I deserve to be treated accordingly" type guy. He is a media circus, loves the attention he's getting, and I think the bottom line is, he's truly going to be a headache no matter where he goes. But like Dawg said, there is NOONE who works harder, NOONE who lines up EVERY DOWN, EVERY PLAY, and brings it like it's supposed to be brought. Off the field antics be dammed, I would want this guy on my team. I'm not a GM or a head coach, but if he wants to rant and rave in front of the camera, f'in go ahead. Cause when he puts that uniform on and steps onto the field, he's the best receiver in the game. Period. What has he really done off the field that is so horrible besides sit in front of a tv camera and make himself look silly? That's one headache I'd gladly deal with. No matter what, when he's on the field, he makes ANY team better. INSTANTLY. -

I wonder, as much of a KH advocate that you seem to be, which would you rather see happen? Kelly Holcomb start the rest of the season, throw for 20 TDs and 12INTs, and a passer rating of 92.0, and the Bills miss the playoffs, OR JP Losman comes in, plays like a rookie is supposed to play, displays flashes of why we brought him in, and the Bills sneak into the playoffs. Which would you prefer?

So we have a QB that cant move & locks onto Moulds
smuvtalker replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How right you are. That has to go down as one of the bonehead plays of the season. I think the whole stadium knew KH was going to Moulds on that 4th down play. I would've much rather seen him throw into double coverage PAST the first down marker than to make the throw he made. Absolutely horrible. There's nothing you can say to justify that. He needs to sit down. -
Very suspect offensive pass-interference call on Moulds....VERY suspect
-
You on your laptop or something already Kelly? Dang you got showered up and on the team plane QUICK!!! Bottom line, your 261 yards passing mean dick. We lost the game, and you certainly contributed to it. We can't pin the loss squarely on you, but WTF was that last pass? You could've thrown it into double coverage, anything BEYOND the marker! But you threw a 2 yard pass to Moulds when we needed 7. IMHO, that play was bad enough to sit your a$$ down for the rest of the fuken season.

It's kinda hard to be optimistic at this exact point in time, but you do have some good points. Okay that's enough of my optimism for the night...back to being pissed off, nauseus, and ready to personally disembowel Kelly Holcomb...
-
Correction, you have provided TWO sources of humor for me this evening!!! LOLOLOL
-
Thank you JoeSixPack, for providing my only source of humor for the evening!!!! ROTFLMAO

So 4 games is an adequate amount of time to give an NFL rookie QB to show he deserves to start? On a mediocre team with a suspect offensive line at that? Wow...
-
6-10? That's mildy optimistic would you agree? Maybe victories over, Jets, Dolphins, and Chiefs? I'm thinking 4-12, maybe 5-11.
-
We haven't given JP enough time to know if he's the answer or not. But we can say for sure Holcomb isn't. That last throw on 4th down alone is enough to sit his punk-ass the rest of the season. Lets see what JP can do.
-
I don't give a rats ass if noone else was open. Throw the fuken ball past the first down marker!!!! How f'ing simple is that? KH needs to sit his ass down. Time to let the kid play...

We are the Buffalo Bills. We find a way to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. Nuff said.

Open letter to the Buffalo Bills:

Would it be too cliche to say ditto? I can taste the vomit in the back of my throat. i want to cry -
Amen. I am so pissed right now I don't know what to do. KH could've thrown it ANYWHERE else but there. Hell, it was 4th down, if anything, throw it into double coverage but at least let it be past the first down marker!!! That was straight bull sh--. I don't give a fuke how many yards he passed for tonight, that was pure ass. Be back, I gotta go puke

Man it seems pretty much everyone on here is in unison..We are definitely in a love-hate relationship with our Bills. We love em when they're winnin, we hate em when they're stinkin up the joint. Lately, they haven't really done much for us to keep the love juices flowin... As true Bills fans, all we can do is keep watchin, hoping for better days ahead. Like the vast majority of you, I think the Bills will probably get their arses handed to them tonight. But I'll be sittin in front of the tube hopin for otherwise... I don't think so, but I'll ask this anyway....Have we reached a point yet, that if we do win tonight, would that be considered a miracle?

Here in Pittsburgh, I also only get to see one or two Bills games on regular TV during the year. I go to a sports bar called Buffalo Blues to watch the games, where there are a few other Bills fans to enjoy the game with... HOWEVER...i'll be enjoying this game from the comfort of my own home, for once. My good buddy just bought a new 60 inch HDTV, and invited me over to watch it at his house, but he's a Cowboys fan, and I don't have it in me to sit there and look at his smug face if the Pats are beatin the hell out of the Bills... So, I'll be whippin up a batch of my famous wings,(would make LaNova's proud) and sittin on the couch hopin the Bills do what noone expects them to do... WIN

Listening to WGR today - Incredible stat

I actually agree with every point that you just made. I wasn't playing dirty by any means, the only point I was trying to make is that I think we, as Bills fans, would love to see a day where our QB airs it out and we pass for 300 yards. In all honesty, I'd take 15-20, 150 yards passing, 1TD and 0INTs and a WIN over 300 yards, 3 tds and a loss anyday, that's a no-brainer. I was simply stating that I long for the days of the 200+ yard passing games, let alone the 300. Thanks for re-stating your point. You are a gentleman and a scholar... -

I'm not even in a fantasy league this year. But who's to necessarily say that passing for a 300 yard game would boost our sack total? Like I stated, I think it would be rather encouraging to see one of our QBs pass for 300 yards, and yes, I do consider myself to be smart NFL observer, regardless of what you think. At least defenses would see that we do have something that remotely resembles a passing game. I am a relatively new poster on here, but I won't let somebody on here try and belittle my knowledge of the game of football. You can agree to disagree, but don't be dick about it. -
Heavenly Father, Please grant all of us Bills fans here a victory Sunday night. We know that the chances of this happenin are probably a f-fillion to one, but you are the Almighty. Also, in the event you can't get us a victory, at least make all IndyJay's cancer sticks taste like Retatta...I'm sure he'll quit easily after just one... Amen
