Happy thanksvgiving to you too.... As much as I would like to see TD get the axe, I think many fellow posters have hit the nail on the head. While IMHO, TD sucks as a GM, the real problem lies with Ralph Wilson, who I believe is happy with the job Ol Whitey is doing filling the seats. I dont' think Ralphie really cares about winning as much as he does selling out every game. So, with that said, I believe that if the Bills don't win another game this year, TD will still be back next year, promising us this and that, signing some journeyman, cast-off FA's who will be mediocre at best...and doing what only TD can do... dish the kool-aid out with the best of em!!!

Great post. I think the thing that makes me so disgusted is that this was a chance to step up to the plate and at worst, play a competitive game. This one was over at kickoff. The only thing consistent about this team is their ability to lay down and die when the pressure is on. We are a mentally soft football team.

Sheesh, lighten up Max.... I kind of agree with DeeRay's post in the sense that the tight end has been grossly under-utilized this year. I'm not saying Campbell is anywhere near in the class that Gates or Gonzalez is, but he is serviceable, and a good pass-catcher. I think he has a valid point....

Man you really hit the nail on the head with that one. I remember reading some article saying that Lee Evans is having a major sophomore jinx. What bullcrap. He hasn't had the ball thrown his way, and when it is, it's either grossly over or under thrown. I really hope that the powers that be devise a way to get him the ball. His growth is being severely stunted. This kid proved he is a gamebreaker, and we're just letting him rot. Excellent point Bill.

Thank you, for saying what myself and surely plenty of others of us have thought at least one point in time. TD is making me LONG for the days of John Butler and Wade Phillips as our head coach. I think back to when Wade was head coach how we lambasted him for what we felt was a terrible football team! (oh yeah, and not wearing a headset) I'd love to have him back right about now. Seems our team played harder, more disciplined ball back then too..

Name ONE game this season where he suited up and didn't perform for the Eagles? Like I said, there's no denying that the guy is an a-hole and spouts off at the mouth WAY too freely, but I'm speaking strictly from a talent, and production standpoint. This guy never takes a play off, and is capable of changing the game in one play. You are right, things may deteriorate OFF the field, but dammit you gotta love what he does on it.

I think it was a gutsy call. I think it was one of those, you're a hero if you make it, you're a goat if you don't type calls. Isn't the old saying, on the road, go for the win, at home, go for the tie?
