  1. do you really think it's Edwards hatred? Or just bills fans tired of trent checking down on every other play? I have never been a hater of any bills player or coach, but my patience IS growing quite thin with Trent's play. I agree with you, I don't think it's a big deal that he didn't watch the Vikings game, but can you at least admit that Trent's play is nowhere near where it needs to be? I am pulling for him and want nothing more than to see him succeed, but I think his time is running out...
  2. A winnable game It's a division rival please trent throw it deep
  3. I will definitely take a Bills victory, especially a beatdown, against a division rival, on the road no less. I don't think there's any way you can look at that as a bad thing... you could argue that the dolphins are the best 0-3 team in the league.
  4. Great points Steely. I have a question for you and the other posters. Do you all think it's time for the Bills to scrap the no-huddle? In all honesty, I would've NEVER thought our defense would have held Brees in check for the entire game the way they did. Not only that, but they also did the same to Brady for 3 and a half quarters. My humble opinion is that if our offense had put just a couple clock eating drives together to give them just a little more rest, they would've been able to get some more stops late in the game. This no huddle does not seem to be doing anything for us....thoughts?
  5. Definitely good news, I agree. Mike Bell is by far their best running back. Pierre Thomas is pretty good, but not an every down back, and Reggie Bush is solely a gimmick player, pass-catching back. He doesn't strike fear in me at all. I don't know why, but i just have this weird feeling Buffalo is going to win this game...
  6. Those are alot of goliath-sized "if's", my friend. But I too share your optimism. Unfortunately, this is the first time in a long, long time for me that I feel like we have no real shot at winning a football game. I live in Atlanta, and I'm debating on whether or not to even go to the Cheyenne Grill to watch the game just for fear of wasting 20 bucks to see us get embarrassed yet again. With that said, if the Bills do pull off the upset, I can promise you, Dick Jauron will be given a 5 year extension.
  7. I swear that while I was watching that play, for a SPLIT second, I felt sorry for them. Until I remembered I was a Bills fan. Let's be real, you could easily see something like that happening to us. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, that horrible bit of bad luck that hit them has shifted the curse to the Bengals! And maybe we'll finally make the playoffs this year! One can hope....
  8. Detroit may be Detroit, but they're still an NFL team. And 358 yards and 6 touchdowns is impressive no matter who you're playing. Except unless you're playing Tidewater Community College for the Blind. But that's about it. As impressed as I was, I will wait until next week when the Saints go to Philadelphia before I give him the single season passing and TD records...
  9. Funny thing is, I had the chance this year to draft tom brady, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Something in me just won't allow me to have any Patriots on my ff roster. It's probably dumb, but I just can't do it. Now with that said, Brady will probably break the yardage AND touchdown records this year, just to spite me.
  10. That would be the obvious choice. I'm guessing that's why he didn't list him on there. Damn I miss Jim Kelly.....
  11. Well, my wife is from New Orleans, so I follow the Saints once Buffalo is done. And I have a bad feeling come week three i'm not going to be in very good spirits, because the Saints will probably score 60 points on us, she'll be cheering and laughing, with her stupid Reggie Bush jersey on...
  12. I'd have to go Flutie. He can get the ball downfield, we've got some formidable weapons at receiver now, and he's mobile enough to avoid the jailbreak of a pass rush we're going to face until our o-line "gels". I'd say Bledsoe second, but I think he'd be a dead man behind our o-line this year. I never liked his statuesque nature.
  13. while i do agree with you that Kelsay has consistently underachieved, I don't know if I'd be ready to throw the towel in on Schobel just yet. I'd really like to see if he still has something in the tank for this upcoming season. If we can get between 6-8 sacks out of him I'd be more than happy....
  14. that was effing funny.... but it's effing sad that very, very few of us realistically think Buff is going to win. stranger things have happened though, so i don't think i'm gonna bet on blowin anybody....
  15. I don't know which is more disturbing, Buffalo's inability to build effective lines, or Ralph's refusal to pay for a proven head coach. I guess you could say that this year they finally addressed the lines, but the jury is still out on maybin, and while one could say we've upgraded our guards, our tackles still are below average. My hope is that if we really stink up the joint this year, Ralph finally ponies up and goes after a proven HC. I think Ralph knows that Bills fans are fed up, and only bringing in a proven winner will re-instill faith in this fan base.
  16. damnit this is one of the funniest posts i've ever read on the stadium wall!!!!!
  17. If this happens, they will find me dead, in my apartment, of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the stomach. I don't want to die quickly. I want a slow, painful, and agonzing death. Just like the Bills have been doing to me since 1999.
