  1. I have to agree with you there. I lived in Charlotte for 3 years after graduating from college, from 2001-2004. I will never forget, I think it was in 01 when the Hornets(Charlotte still) had beaten their first round opponent, and i kid you not, i was able to buy a pair of 2nd round NBA Playoff tickets, the night before the game, on ticketmaster no less...AND THEY WERE SELLING THEM 2 FOR THE PRICE OF 1...
  2. I agree with Tipster, MattyT and FlutieFlakes. I know it was preseason, and it was garbage time, but to me Levi Brown looked the most impressive of the three QB's who played yesterday. It also seemed like he was the only one even willing to attempt a pass over 10 yards. I want Trent to succeed because I am a true Bills fan, but yesterday he just looked like the same ol Trent. Even on the first series, yes he was 5 of 6, but it just didn't seem like he was even willing to try a throw over 10 yards, with the exception of the missed bomb. In his defense, I didn't think he had alot of time to throw though... Fitz has heart and guts, but I think that's about it.
  3. You could line up Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, and put Andre in the slot, it wouldn't matter with the offensive line we have. I love the Bills more than anyone, but lets face reality. Our O-Line stinks....and managements refusal to address it is what's going to get WHOEVER lines up behind center killed. Let alone the receiving corps...
  4. As much as I'd hate to admit it, T.O. and Edwards as 1 and 2, with Holmes in the slot....man that's a sick trio....
  5. That's a good point, I totally forgot they added Braylon Edwards... I really hope he doesn't go to the Jets. Just more motivation for him to make us regret letting him go...
  6. http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5412850 That would SO not be a good thing in my opinion. Something tells me he'd average 130 yards and 2 touchdowns both times he played us. I really wish we would've re-signed him...
  7. "Heroin Frank! Heroin!" "That's a pretty tall order Nordberg, you're gonna have to give me a couple days on that one" That whole movie is priceless from beginning to end!!!
  8. I must be a juvenile 5th grader, because i am sitting at my desk near tears! I can't stop laughing! These are some funny posts...
  9. I thought the article was pretty hilarious...i got several guffaws out of it. Am I wrong for that?
  10. i agree that Westbrook may be done, but they have a more than adequate replacement for him in Lesean McCoy.....but i would still love to see the Bills get McNabb...but i don't think he'd want to come here..
  11. Thank you for at least not insulting me. I can definitely see your point of view. I did play college football, and I have taken plenty of hits, but I definitely can say I wasn't on the field yesterday, and even though it didn't look that bad, I don't know the severity of the hit. I definitely didn't get a medical degree, so I have no idea how bad it was. But I guess the only point I was trying to make was that it just didn't seem to me like the kid wanted to get back onto the "battlefield" with his teammates. But hey, it's just my opinion....I've been known to be wrong a time or two...
  12. My comment is idiotic? Because I posted an opinion that is not one that you agree with? I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels like this, and because you don't agree, you can come on here and look down on me and tell me my post is idiotic? Why don't you get over yourself, immediately. Of all my posts, I've never come on here and insulted anyone, that's not my M.O. I'm sure of all your posts you've never made an opinion that maybe other people don't agree with. I've read many of your posts, and for the most part thought you were a pretty alright guy. Don't come on here trying to belittle someone for their idea. It's a$$holes like you that are the reason other people don't post their ideas. This is a message board. Go f$ck yourself....
  13. I agree. For all the "supposed" talent that this guy has, this injury, on a suspect hit, in the national title game, it's got to make some GM's and coaches really question this guy's heart....i would at least think. I am still dumbfounded by this guy being so quick to come out of the game like that....
  14. that's the only thing I can think of.....effing ridiculous. What happened to playing for the love of the game? What happened to wanting to win?
  15. I'm sorry, there is no way this guy should be a Buffalo Bill. I don't care how much of an arm he has, this kid is as tough as wet tissue paper. I'm not a medical doctor, nor was I the one on the field who took that hit, but that had to be one of the weakest hits I've ever seen knock someone out of the game! I mean, come on! Are you kidding me? This is the national championship, this is for all the marbles, the pinnacle of the college football stage, and you're "the one" who your teams hopes rest on! And you take a hit like that and just effing quit??? Your whole effing team is counting on you, you're the undenied leader, and that is enough to take you out? I'm sorry, the only way I'm not goin back in the game is if I'm dead. I don't post often, but I had to voice my opinion on this one. I don't want this guy on the Bills.
  16. I disagree, I wouldn't call him a bum at all. Primadonna receiver yes. Acts like a little kid when the ball isn't being thrown his way? Sure. But how many times has he had his defender beaten by SEVERAL steps only to have the ball grossly underthrown? To a certain extent, I can't blame him for his lackluster body language. Don't get me wrong, he certainly should've tried to break up a ball or two, but I wouldn't go as far as to call him a bum. To be as old as he is, the guy is in remarkable shape, and I believe wherever he goes when he leaves Buffalo, he's still got a couple good years left in him. Unfortunately, we just weren't able to utilize him....
