  1. Powell's inconsistency is maddening. It appears that he really has no touch on his punts, and as K-9 mentioned, it always seems like he shanks his punts when we need a great punt the most....
  2. glad he got the pick but Aaron Williams is an idiot sometimes....
  3. The D is really playing their tails off.....Ok let's go offense and have a nice, long drive!!!
  4. I'm upset with both of them. Just being honest. Glenn had all day and an eternity to fall on the dang ball, or at the very least swat it out of bounds....yes EJ effed up too....
  5. I could be mistaken. I thought he had seen the field during the regular season before this year. Don't get me wrong, I am still pulling for him, and do hope he gets his chance to see some quality playing time, but at some point you have to cut your losses. It just always seemed like it was something with him...
  6. I have been rooting and pulling for Easley since he has been on the team. At some point, the injuries, all of the things that have gone wrong for the kid, they become a moot point. True, this year he has been solid on special teams, but every year in pre-season, he lights it up, has a highlight reel play, and then during the regular season, he's pretty much invisible (when healthy). I really think he needs to contribute as a WR this year, and in a noticeable way to earn a roster spot. Honestly I'm sure you can find a street free agent or late round draft pick at receiver to contribute on special teams. Just my humble opinion.
  7. Thanks for the love. I worked for IBM in Charlotte for 4 years after college, and grew to love that city. Big city with a small town kind of charm. Good luck to your Panthers as well
  8. Hard to ignore 4.5 sacks.....I gotta give it to Mario.
  9. The homer in me would have to give it to Reed. Plus, at least Andre never "allegedly" shot and killed someone. Sorry, had to go there. Tasker, Polian, Bennett, Hull, all deserving as well in my opinion. Hell, I'd vote for pratically every Bill on the list.
  10. I wish I could share that level of optimism with you. Unfortunately, I've grown a bit numb to the Bills and their losing ways, last year I think being the first time ever that I just wasn't bothered a single bit by the outcome of the games. Even as far back as 2002, I can remember after a Bills loss I didn't want to talk to anybody the rest of the day, I wouldn't go online, or watch highlights, or anything. I even remember the year the Titans beat the Bills back in 99, on the bs kickoff return, my roommate in college was laughing during the kickoff screaming "oh my God!". He wasn't even a football fan. I didn't speak to him for two weeks. I do believe this season will be an exciting one. I think we will see some awesome plays, and I think we will see our fair share of growing pains as well. I don't see playoffs on the horizon for this years Bills team, but you never know. As Chris Berman always says.... "THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE GAME!" Go Buffalo in 2013! In EJ we trust!!!!
  11. Man I wish I could share your enthusiasm with the whole McLovin idea, but unfortunately, when I think of him as a starting corner, all I have are visions of him having his defender covered, and never, or rarely turning his head around to even look for the ball, and then.... another 15-20-30 yard completion. I sure hope he's learned a few things....
  12. Agreed. I would love to see our corners play a little bit more bump and run.
  13. This, this, and this over again. Stevie is just being Stevie, and I don't really think anything he said was out of line. I'm more concerned with what Tom Brady and HIS receiving core are going to do Sunday. He has to have a full-on woody at the thought of facing our secondary. He's carved up a whole heckuva lot better secondaries that we will put on the field Sunday. I just pray our front four can get some consistent pressure or it's gonna get ugly, real, real quick.
  14. Very hard to disagree there. Let's hope he develops a little better this year.
  15. Three sound, great choices. If Stevie has a productive year, and more importantly, shows some maturation and grows up a little more, maybe next year he can be in the conversation too....
