  1. hey positive play from EJ....let's keep it going!
  2. Wow....can't even throw the 2 yard screen to Stevie?? Cmon EJ!!
  3. I say no for several reasons. 1)He's at this present moment the best receiver on our roster. Woods, Goodwin, and heck even Graham have more upside and potential, but at the current moment in time, my opinion is that he's still the best receiver we have. 2)He does provide veteran leadership in the locker room, and can also serve as a mentor to the younger WR's. His silly antics aside, he's still considered by many a pretty good guy....I was frustrated with him more than most after his fumble at the Atlanta game, but I'd still take him on my team.
  4. Well, depends if that someone else is another hot chick......might not be so gut wrenching
  5. Man you guys all posted some great ones...but it's pretty hard for me to pick against Wide Right......heartbreaking in every sense of the word and I don't think I've ever recovered. The Ronnie Harmon dropped pass in the end zone also comes to mind as a nominee....
  6. Kelly's Dolphins? How dare you blaspheme like that!!!!!
  7. So sad, but I too share your sentiments. I can't believe that is what many of us on here have been reduced to.....hoping for at the very least just a 500 team...
  8. My sentiments exactly. My personal opinion is that his 70% completion percentage is probably bolstered a bit by his high number of checkdown throws. I'm no statistician but I'd be hard pressed to believe many of those completed passes are of the intermediate variety.
  9. To be honest, I wouldn't know how to be a diehard fan of another team. I first started liking football when i was six years old. I was born in Buffalo, and aside from me and my mom, all my relatives stayed there. We moved to Virginia when I was one, but every summer I would get to spend two weeks up in Buffalo with my relatives, and those were the best summers of my life. We would play football with a soda can, and one day the trash man gave me and my cousins an old beat up nerf football, and it was the best thing ever. The Bills were the first team I followed. I picked them up when they had Joe Ferguson, Joe Cribbs, and Jerry Butler on offense, and the only player I remember on defense was Freddy Smerlas. But that is when I began following them. They were never any good back then, and growing up in Northern Virginia, I remember the Redskins being great year in an year out, and going to the Super Bowl. I think when I first realized I had become a true fan of the Bills is when I was 15 years old, and my dad and I were painting our old house. We had already moved into our new house, and had went back to the old house to paint it. My dad left the TV there, so we could watch the Bills vs Browns playoff game. I remember he had to tell me about 15 times to come upstairs and help paint, but I was glued to the tv. I watched the entire game, and on that final drive, my Bills "fandom" was officially born. I couldn't move watching the Bills march down the field at will. I jumped up in the air when Kelly threw the pass to Harmon because I knew he had caught it...but alas. Then when Kelly threw the interception, I just remember standing there, looking at the tv in disbelief. I couldn't believe it was over. I've lived and died through the Bills ever since. Granted, I'm nowhere near as emotionally invested in them as I used to be now that i have a family of my own, but I still and always will love my Buffalo Bills. I'm praying that I live long enough to see them win a super bowl. I refuse to believe with all the parity that goes on now in the NFL that they won't make the playoffs within the next few years.
  10. Couldn't agree more. I think it's probably starting to get a little warm under his collar.
  11. I never made it to the Laughing Man, but I did make it out to Jimmy's. I was pleased. It is definitely a small town Bills bar feel, everyone treats you nice, the bartender was really sweet, and she gave me some great recommendations on drinks. After every Bills touchdown they assigned someone there the duty of running around the whole bar and high fiving as many people as they could, and they got a free Bills t-shirt. Good food, good drinks, reasonable prices. Definitely a great place to go to watch a Bills game!
  12. I was only able to watch the game until halftime, and it appeared he was MIA. At least to me. But I don't know if I'd go as far as to say he's cashing it in. I did expect him to get at least a sack or a half sack though against what appeared to be a weaker set of tackles...
  13. Come on EJ, that was a pretty crappy attempt at a fade. Wilt Chamberlain couldn't have gone up and got that one...
  14. The chicken or the egg maybe? I mean, it would be logical to blame Tuel for the pick 6, but should he have been put in that position to have to make that play by the coaches? You could legitimately fault both parties there. TJ's fumble was terrible. Don't think I'd put any blame whatsoever on Fred for not being able to punch it in though...
  15. i'm thinking 4-3 the rest of the way, for a final record of 7-9. However, 8-8, or 9-7 I wouldn't say far out of the realm of possibility...
  16. Not sure if I'd go as far as to call him a top 5 corner, but I think he was the best on our team, and certainly worthy of being considered an above average, could be great corner. I definitely believe once that club comes off, we will see a different Gilmore... Well put sir!!
  17. Morning fellow Bills fans!! I am jacked for the game tonight! It will be nice to watch the game on my TELEVISION for a change, instead of watching the games on my laptop. I am cautiously optimistic about this game. I think the Bills have a very good chance to win this game. I expect a low-scoring affair, with the Bills prevailing 17-13. Let's go Buffalo!!!
  18. I would give it to Kiko, but Woods has impressed as well. He reminds me of Desean Jackson from Philly.....
  19. LOLOLOL You guys are killin me! At my desk crackin up....
  20. Gotta give it to A Williams. As much as his post-play silly antics infuriate me, he played out of his gourd yesterday, and played with heart.
  21. It's always great to see a big man get jiggy with it, lol. I remember back when we beat New England 31-0 in the home opener, seeing Sam Adams run that interception back for a touchdown, and watching him dance...man we were crackin up!!!!
