I too am sick of seeing EJ consistently checking down to a three yard pass, then consistently missing wide open receivers when he does attempt a pass longer than 10 yards, or getting his receivers obliterated by leading them into vicious hits. My first impulse in responding to this poll was to say start EJ, and my reasoning is this. The Detroit game is going to be very tough. I have dreams of Suh crashing through the line and just destroying EJ on multiple occasions. Detroit is a tough team, and I have the game penciled as a loss for us. I want Orton to get a shot, but I was thinking after the next two games. Let EJ get the Detroit game, he has had better time to prepare, and then give him one last home game vs the Pats. If he has shown no improvement on his accuracy, or a willingness to throw the ball more than 10 yards down the field, yank him and get Orton in there. As much as I have hope that EJ can improve, I just don't see it happening. With that said, even though I voted for EJ starting the next game, I would not be the least bit upset if Orton is starting Sunday.

I'm going to go with Robert Woods....I think he's going to have an outstanding year...

With my wife being an LSU alum, I have seen more than my fair share of Mettenberger. I would have to respectfully disagree with him having more physical tools than Manziel OR Bortles, with his arm strength perhaps an upgrade over Bortles. I just never saw anything from Mettenberger that overwhelmed me or greatly impressed me. With that said, I wouldn't be upset with giving up a 6th or 7th rounder on him....

Holy crap so did I, when I went a couple YEARS ago. Dang that dude must be makin quite a livin posing as a statue then moving when someone drops a few washingtons in his bucket...

Steve Smith has got to be 5'8 or 5'9, yet he is probably one of the most physical, intimidating receivers I've ever seen. He plays like he's 6'8. I would be very happy with Watkins at 9...trading up to get him....not so much.

I've noticed it too on occasions, but I don't think that will ever change....kinda it's just who he is....comes with the territory. I still think he's a supreme RB, and his best years are ahead of him.

We need a LG. Hairston if healthy should start at RT. We need a good TE. I say if one of the blue chip QB's is still there when we pick, pull the effing trigger.

Stranger things have happened....it is possible!!! Either way though, I believe the job is EJ's even if Thad goes out and throws for 400 yards and 4 td's. One game does not a starter make. (see Rob Johnson) With that said, I would not be at all surprised to see the Bills go QB with their first pick, if one of the studs is there for the taking....Heck the Redskins did it with RG3 and Cousins, and look how gorgeously that has worked out for them!!

I'm ready to fess up. At the start of the season, I penciled this in as an automatic W. If I could've put the house up for just ONE game this year, it was this game. I have a feeling at the end of this game, I would've been homeless.
