  1. I would not at all be surprised if Shady is traded away for a high round draft pick, provided early enough on we realize we have no shot at a winning season...Beane has done a phenomenal job of getting more than anticipated for players, and if Murphy plays as well as advertised, we could see the end of Shady in Buff. I would be inclined to think Clay is untouchable, at least for the upcoming year. But if he underachieves the way he did last year, I think this will be his last year here. We have a promising group of young talent at the TE position. Hughes is to me untouchable. He's our only bonafide pass rusher, and I think he's poised for a double digit sack year. Aside from Tre'Davius, Hyde and Poyer, I dont see anyone else as locks. (Rookies not included) Just my 2 cents
  2. I would be beside myself with joy....I actually predicted us to lose this game, but only because I'm wrong every time I pick us to win. If we win Sunday, expect me to pick us to lose every week from here on out...until the streak is broken. Sure would be nice to know I hold the key to Buffalo's W/L record
  3. Suggs: to quote Stewie from Family Guy...not a very good tooth-to-gum ratio
  4. 24-29, 317 yards, 2 TD's, no picks 5 rushes, 36 yards, 1 TD FedEx Offensive Player of the week Damn talk about doing it all! Not a bad net avg, if he doesn't pan out as our QB we may very well have solved our punting situation
  5. It definitely seems like an unfair, and also unrealistic expectation to be put on Bortles. While I agree Bortles may not be an elite signal caller by any means, I don't think he's the worst either. You're also right in that defenses are going to do their best to eliminate Fournette, thus placing even more pressure on Bortles to beat them with his arm. At the end of the day I have to wonder if Marrone will wish he could un-say that...
  6. Keep em comin fellas, these are all effing priceless!!! ??
  7. I apologize....I'm a little confused on this one...
  8. Damn you for making me laugh at that....
  9. Sweet Jesus is this what they mean when they say developing a refined palate?? Here it is a few days away from first game of the season and I'm getting amped about steak pies, rhubarb crumble, and hot custard...and washing it down with a spot of tea... Thank you gentlemen....and damn you in the same breath
  10. So I've been told!! And hot custard....I now know what I'm getting next visit!!
  11. Every time they handed Tolbert the ball, a little piece of me died inside...
  12. To be honest the only thing I've ever ordered there besides bangers and mash was a burger....and it paled in comparison. Kind of like going to a 5 star steakhouse....and ordering the chicken ?
  13. Two years ago I got to go to an English pub with some coworkers, and had my first encounter with bangers and mash...instantly fell in love...quite possibly because I love peas and mushrooms so much...that's the same thing as sausage and mash yes? I haven't ordered anything different, as I'm a big proponent of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"..
  14. Seeing that makes me want to grab you, hug you tight and scream "Nooooooo" at the top of my lungs
  15. Down here in the Atl, I suppose I'll make myself a homemade Italian hoagie...Publix brand sweet ham, salami, pepperoni, capicola, and smoked provolone, layered as listed, placed in the oven for a quick but effective 8 minutes...and some delicious barbalo wings, served with blue cheese of course. Now if I were so blessed to be home in Buff for the game, its STRAIGHT to La Nova's for their pit bbq wings, and a pizza from Leonardi's (or Just Pizza)..... Man I miss Buffalo food
  16. Every time I've picked the Bills to lose, I've been wrong.... Ravens 37 Bills 10 ?
  17. Thank you Scott...Best of luck to all of you and here's to a great season of football ?
  18. Then the Lombardi trophy is ours!
  19. Thank you sir for providing me with an absolutely side-splitting howl of laughter!! I needed that in the worst way!! ???
  20. Me personally, I'd take the commentating job without hesitation. I get to talk about the game I love AND get paid to do so. Granted it may not be as much as some of the higher level coaching positions, but it also doesn't include that stress either. I would also pick commentating over a F/O job, because we've all seen what happens to an organization when they continually stink up the joint and post losing record after losing record. Housekeeping within an organization often times includes a clean sweep of personnel from top to bottom, from the GM to the janitor... Give me the cushy commentating job 1000 times out of 1000 times please.
  21. "You over-officious jerk!" - loved it
