  1. Thats pretty sweet. I have a Bills license plate holder right now but would like to get one of the New York state plates with the Bills helmet on it.
  2. WTF was Walter Jones doing on that last sack to end regulatoin!? Did you see him just standing there as Tank beat the LG then got to Hasslebeck?
  3. Honestly, I don't know if anyone would give up a 2nd rounder for Willis at this point in his carreer.
  4. Cool pics man! How were the wings?
  5. Honestly, that guy has my vote for as long as he's running. Good for him for standing up for something that is important and relavent in the daily lives of the people who he represents.
  6. Aww man.....how long till the season starts again?
  7. That sounds more like a UC basketball recruiting party to me...
  8. This is my first year living in Columbus so it's cool seeing the atmosphere around here. The thing that sucks is that I have to work on Tuesday .
  9. Judging by how things went this year, maybe that would make more sense here in Buffalo
  10. Had some nervous moments towards the end there. Good win to get off the loosing streak. By the way, slingbox is the coolest freakin thing ever. Love being able to get the msg feed out here in C-bus.
  11. I'll be at the Cleveland game (prob go with some of my buddies that are Browns fans) and will also probably bring some Bengal fans up for the Cincy game.
  12. At home with the playoffs on the line, yes that's a team we're supposed to beat.
  13. Have we blitzed at all?
  14. a run play when its 3rd and 8 with 9 min left, in your last game when you're out of the playoffs....WHAT THE !@#$
  15. Holmes scores on a 60 something yard pass early in ot. Bengals loose
  16. I think a win today gives the team a great lift going into next season. They'll have beat a super bowl contender on the road to finish .500 after suffering a heartbraking loss at the home finale. They'll end on a high note but with plenty of the "unfinished business / what could have been" feelings floating around to provide some hunger and motivation for next year. If they loose today, I'll still view the season as a success and with some tweaking a playoff birth next year could be realistic. If they win today, I could see a comparison to the Bengals of a couple years ago who finished 8-8 then went on a tear the following season; young qb coming on in second half of season, stud young wr hitting his prime, players finally having confidence in and buying into coaching plilosophy etc...
  17. That's correct. I think we were out of timeouts by that point and the stop of the clock and ability to get another play in SHOULD have been more important than a possible extra few yards.
  18. I've played all my life and I always thought the winner was whoever landed more blows or whoever landed the more devastating blows. We always thought the guy who almost immediately went for the takedown was kind of a kitty. Thats why its a fight, not a wrestling match
  19. It was awesome seing him throw down but I dunno if I'd say he WON the fight...Max got hit a few times then threw the guy down. I don't think he landed a punch.
  20. I've seen a lot of Bengals games in recent years and he's AWFUL in coverage.
  21. Oh my bad with the playoffs on the line we should instead send the fg unit on, then bring them off, and call a play where all the recievers run routes towards the endzone when we only need 5 yards. The outcome of that would be much better...I'm not saying the kick would have gone in, but I think you give it a chance. I didn't know they had guys on the sidelines that were able to predict how the wind would behave and could determine it had no chance of going in.
  22. Willis often leaves a lot to be desired, but we have way too many other needs to worry about RB. Differend story after next season.
  23. Probably, but I was sitting 2nd row in that endzone and there was a gust of wind that held up Bironas' kick. It looked good and plenty far, then right towards the end of the ball's flight, a big gust held it up. The wind was pretty constant, but the swirling and occasional big gusts were the problem. Once again, the decision was really a tough one, but who knows maybe you get lucky and the wind calms for 5 sec during the kick. I still am leaning towards taking a shot at a kick, but if not the playcalling should have been much different.
  24. I understand the argument against going for the kick and I agree that the playcalling on the last drive was rip-your-hair-out frustrating; but did anyone think Vinatieri would have made that kick against Oakland in the snow? I know I'm just venting but it just feels so unsatisfying to see the playoff dreams end on that sequence. It was probably the right call to go for it (although the final set of plays sucked and made no sense), but stranger things have happened in the NFL than making a 45 yard fg into tough wind.
  25. AFCE is going to be a tough division next year. I still think that we will make a serious playoff run, but nothing is a given. A few offseason moves here and there could make us a serious contender.
