Glazer reporting entire staff dismissed

Saw that too. He's thinking that he's not coming back at all this year. -
You mean 4th straght? (snow bowl in Cleve, MNF, 6-3) I got two away games targeted for next year for sure, maybe another if possible. I live in Columbus and have many college buddies in Cincy that are B'gals fans so that one is a no brainer. I will probably also go to Miami. Went two years ago and wanted to make it a yearly thing but got married the day before the game this year and was on a plane to Tahiti instead (what a shame that was.... ). KC is possibility as I have a Chiefs fan buddy out that way. Green Bay would be very cool but can't imagine it's easy to get tickets.

Supposed big news announcement at 9pm

My wife is a lawyer (albeit a very new one) and I asked her if she remembered anything about estate stuff. She dug out her federal Tax statute book and breezed through it but we have each had a few adult beverages tonight and quickly lost interest....Glad we could help! -

Recomendations on single brew coffee makers
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to WellDressed's topic in Off the Wall Archives
We have a Keurig. I don't drink coffee but my wife does and she absolutely loves it. Don't know a ton about it but I know it can be set on a program to be ready in the AM. My parents also have one and the in-laws just bought one too. They're all coffee people so I guess it's a good endorsement. -

News regarding the San Diego Chargers

Sorry you feel that way. I don't even live in WNY anymore but am a season ticket holder. Like MANY of the posters here, I probably end up spending a couple grand a year on "Bills related" expenses (driving to and from home games, NFL Sunday Ticket, merchandise, attending, an away game, etc.). In my adult life (I'm 25), I have gotten very little return on the investment in terms of on field product. I can understand some of your sentiments, and to other Bills fans and especially to non Bills fans, the time and financial commitment that we all give to this team seems insane. Why do we do it? For me, I just love it that damn much. I spend many months of the year traveling all over the country for work. I wear Bills gear everywhere and it's lead me to many nice football conversations with complete strangers at various bars and restaurants. No matter what happens each year on the field, there's always some false sense of hope come fall. I look forward to fall Sundays all year long. Even though we suck and have sucked for some time now, it's still about my favorite thing in the world to be at the Ralph for gameday. Catching up with old friends and family, drinking beer, grilling, and throwing the ball around. What could be better? Maybe when I'm older my sentiments will change, or maybe the team will even be gone. Until then though, I'll keep buying tickets and t-shirts. Call me a fool, but I'll be having a damn good time doing it. -
I'm not saying it can't happen. Hell he could be the next Belicheck for all we know. I just said I personally would like to get a guy who has a proven record of success in the NFL to be the next Bills coach. There is an unusual number of guys who fit that bill who are currently unemployed (hell most of them have Super Bowl rings). In case YOU haven't noticed, the Bills have sucked at picking first time coaches in recent years. I don't think it's too absurd to want a guy who has proven that he can win, not "might be able to".
-
Don't like the sounds of that....Bills string together a few wins in the next 7 weeks and Perry becomes the new savior. No offense to him but I want a proven winner in here not another question mark.

TV ALERT: UB vs Miami, OH
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hope the Bulls don't cream them too bad. It's been a pretty rough season for Miami football. The team is very young but has played better in recent weeks. -
I had this game targeted since the schedule came out. I have a business trip in Jacksonville later this week that I will be extending for some golf, partying and the Bills game. Too bad the team has already sucked all the fun out of this season and it's only week 10. I guess Jauron is getting better at something.....Anyways, I'll be there decked out in Bills gear hoping that we don't get totally embarassed again. No matter how much I hate this regime I still can't root against the Bills on game day. Anyone from the area have suggestions for good spots to hit pre/post game? We're staying in Jax beach Friday and Sat nights and then move over to the Crowne Plaza downtown for Sunday night after the game (figure we will be doing plenty of drinking and looks like we can take the water taxi to and from the game). Don't know anyone there and won't be bringing the rental car to the game so we won't be very "tailgate ready". I guess I'm looking to see if there is any good bars near the stadium that might have some fellow Bills fans to drown our sorrows with. If not is there anywhere near the stadium where we could at least buy some beer and join a Bills tailgate? Any help from those in the know would be great!

Ahh the ever popular "cup of soup". Always classic.

Proof Bills fans have hit their limit

I decided to go with the "FU JAURON!" as I headed for the lot early in the 4th quarter. For a couple minutes I was pretty pissed and had visions of running onto the field and laying out Jauron on the sideline. Then I asked myself "are you really surprised?". Then I remembered I had plenty of beer left in the lot. Guess about 40,000 had the same thoughts as I did. -
Haven't you heard?

Trying to pick a honeymoon destination!
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to PushthePile's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Just got back from our honeymoon in French Polynesia less than 2 weeks ago. It was amazing. Very private and exclusive. We flew into Tahiti and did 3 nights on the nearby island of Moorea then midweek traveled to Bora Bora and did 4 nights there. (Bora Bora is where that new movie Couples Retreat was filmed.) All the hotel rooms in FP are "bungalow" style and their specialty are over-water bungalows where the whole thing is on stilts in the water. They all have a glass porthole under the coffee table for watching the sea life from the comfort of your room. Lots of fun activities to do on the islands too (watersports, atv tours, etc.) French Polynesia is VERY expensive but we found it to be well worth the $. If it's in your budget I would highly reccomend it. I've done the Carribean several times and this was a nice "step up" for the once in a lifetime honeymoon (hopefully ). I'll link the two hotels we stayed at and would suggest doing some research on tripadvisor if the destination even remotely appeals to you. Sofitel Moorea Sofitel Bora Bora -
I know....I know, it's too early...

And Maybin has gotten sacks against?????......I know it's early but I am liking the Maybin pick less and less...Hopefully he will end up changing my mind but at this point he looks like another Big 10 player who looks great in a weak college conference and may end up struggling at the next level. -
Dude I admit I'm drunk so I may seem like a dick but you and your little dilemma screams like a bunch of complete nerds or a bunch of friggin girls. Like so many have said in this thread, if it can't be settled over a few beers then fugg it, its a lost cause and move on. "Offering up some homemade cookies" just made me laugh aloud. Like I said sorry to be a dick but grow up. This saga sounds like an episode of sorority life. Either stop giving a !@#$ about these loosers and get some self confidence or you will spend your life getting walked all over or trying to please others. The best advice I have seen in this thread is stop worrying about what others think about you. You dont have to be friends with everyone. It seems like you treat everyone with respect and that is literally all you have to do. Once you get into the workforce you will probably realize this, but you DONT need to be friends with everyone. My drunken advice is to stop trying to be these douchbags friends and do your own thing. If you cant get out of your lease, start spending more time with your real friends. Doesnt mean you cant be pleasant to your roomies, just dont associate with them. Girls are drawn to guys who exude confidence so stop worrying about roomate drama and start bringing home girls every night to slam and keep the rest of the place awake! I just married a girl I met at a drunken frat party in college. We ended up dating for the rest of undergrad and her entire tenure at law school. That kinda **** happens. Enjoy the experience and dont worry about stupid exchange students or random 5th year seniors with no friends!!!!!
-
haha cheers. Day off for me tomorrow so I just made another drink and will be enjoying the win until I pass out. They will probably be few and far between so better relish in it when the opportunity presents itself!
