Why because he's right? I want some of whatever you're on. With your tiny hopes of playoffs still flickering, how is there no urgency on this drive? Awful play on that last one. -

For real.....God that freakin pisses me off. Gave back all the momentum we took when our atrocious d actually forced a 3 and out. -
Early flight outta Columbus in the AM to Ft. Myers for a night then will head over to Miami on Sat. Hope we can turn it around this weekend, my group is primed!!!!

Saw J Edgar last night and was not impressed. Part was my fauIt, as I should have read some reviews beforehand. It was nothing at all like what I had pictured and I'm sure that affected how I feel about it. *SPOILER* The movie focused on his homosexual relationship, and semi Oedipus complex and turned into a long drawn out story about them. For whatever reason the whole thing never really pulled me in and I found myself pretty much bored the whole time. I am far from a "movie guy" and I rarely see movies but this sure wasn't my kind of flick.

I have no problem losing this way
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously? What is wrong with all of you!? I understand that a couple months ago 4-2 seemed like a pipe dream but expectations can change. I don't feel like we got beat by a better team in either of our two losses. I feel more like we literally gave the games away due to some poor game planning, play calling, and execution. Neither of these games should give us the "moral victory" in a loss feeling, we simply blew em. The Bengals and Giants are not elite teams and we should not be "ok" with a loss to either, even if theyre on the road. I understand this is the NFL and we will not win every week but I just don't see how any Bills fan can feel ok after literally handing a game over to the opposition....And yes I am drunk so please forgive the repetitiveness & poor grammar! -
Buffalo Bills have EXCEEDED my expectations!
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to rockpile's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes they have exceeded most of our expectations but it doesnt give them a free pass when they literally piss a game away. I even agree that a couple months ago, I'd be happy 4-2 at the bye but expectations can change as things unfold. I'm real pissed off that we are not 5-1 right now or even 6-0. I hope the Bills take the bye week to get healthy and regroup because this season could very quickly turn to the shitter just as easily as we could keep our early success going. Thats how the NFL is and I'm nowhere near convinced that we are ready to take the "next step". Can't count on 5 turnovers every week. -
awful !@#$ing call and awful !@#$ing execution. it's just not what you do in that situation and with that time left on the clock. sorry to all the apologists out there but if you're gonna pass in that situation you make it a pass where only your reciever is gonna get a shot at it. You don't just throw up a 50/50 ball towards the sidelines. The most disappointing thing about it is that I thought Fitz was smarter than that. I understand that he is not the most skilled QB, but that mistake is unexcuseable. joke of a call and joke in execution

Hope you don't mind a couple Bills fans nearby.... I'll be in 309 row 20! Not sure of the seat numbers we have my Bengals fan buddy got the seats. -
I know we are all giving somewhat biased opinions, but is there a better back in the league at making the first guy miss? Seriously unless the play is completely blown up, Fred always makes the first tackler miss. Agree with all the posters who say that if he was on one of the "contenders" he would be a household name. I wish we would pay the man and make him happy but I have nightmares of him in a Pats uni terrorizing our D for years to come. *shudder*.....He is unquestionably the heart of the offense and I just wish he would get a little more respect in terms of $ and national recognition. Spiller may be able to break one at any time but he has light years to go to get in Freddy's league.

A Few Thoughts About The Game
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. I will have to re-watch the game later and focus on the o-line, but I didn't think he stood out as a weak link. Yes he gave up the sack to Hali, but I really didn't "notice" him most of the game, and usually that's a good sign for a o lineman. I know Bill has great o line knowledge so I'd like to hear some of the specifics. Thanks in advance. Also, thoughts on Wood at center? Thought he played very well. Go Bills! -
I'm not saying that Spiller can't be a good player, but it was a wasted pick. Fred is simply the man.

I have a nice little comment for these buffoons if I can get through the screener. Nothing obscene or anything, just a little jab to make Schoop look like the moron he is. Gotta relish these opportunites when we get them!

Ok so this is our 5th year or so of season tickets. Our tailgate group has always kinda joked about how cool it would be to have a bus or RV to bring up to the games. Well a couple weeks ago, a good friend of my dads told him that he's selling his RV and would give us a great deal on it. It's one of those things that we weren't really planning on, but the deal is going to be too good to pass up so we're going for it. I got a couple questions and any advice by people who have done the RV thing would be greatly appreciated by us newbies! First off, if we park in the RV lot can other friends of ours join our tailgate? We have people that descend on the Ralph from multiple directions around the country and it would be great if we they could keep parking in lots on the respecive sides of the stadium and simply come find us in the RV lot to join the party. I'm not sure if they only let people in that literally drive in already in the RV or whatnot. What's traffic like getting out? There's a chance we may come in a night early, but we all have to head back after the game on Sundays. We always go back and fire the grill up again after the game and are not in a huge hurry to get out. Just want to know if it's feasable to get out an hour or two after gametime or if it's a complete mess. How are the bathouse facilities? We will keep the RV south of Buffalo in WNY where my parents live and the only nearby dump station at the state park closes at the end of october. We're thinking at this point that we'll winterize the RV and rely on the bathhouse for (hopefully) clean bathroom facilities & showers. I'm sure I'll have some more questions but any other advice is much appreciated. Thanks in advance and Go Bills!!!

Posluszny says he feels much more comfortable now...
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's plenty of things I don't agree with the Bills doing, but not breaking the bank for Poz is not one of them. I would have been ok with re-signing him, but nowhere near the the numbers he got. Barnett is a flat out better player IMO, and we got him for a fraction of the price. Still not really sure how that happened. Was never a really huge fan of Poz and my opinion of him dropped a bit more after reading his excuses in that article. Say what you want about Lee, but he was a class act the whole time here and said nothing negative about the Bills in his recent inteviews and didn't make excuses for his low production. I'll continue to root for Lee when it doesn't affect the Bills, can't say the same for Poz. -
Cedar Point amusement park - who's been?
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Have been going one or two times a year since I was old enough to drive. Living in Columbus makes for an easy 2 hr trip each way. I've never stayed on site so can't really comment on that. I've stayed off site at some of the nearby campgrounds (younger days, no $), and at hotels a couple miles from the park. Be warned I'm pretty sure all of the hotels that are right outside the main entrance are a little "sketchy". Check tripadvisor for some reviews. Last time we stayed over was somewhere a few miles away where there was a bunch of hotels and lots to eat. We had a BW3's within walking distance so that worked out good for some post-park cold ones. As for the rides, you simply won't find a better place if you're a coaster fan. The rides aren't as heavily themed as say Disney. The focus is more on the rides themselves. I'm not a big fan of spinning, fair type rides so I usually stick to the coasters. One exception being Maxx Air. Its a big pendulum ride that also spins slowly. You actually get somewhat upside down. Pretty wild. For the coasters, my favorite 3 are Dragster, Millenium Force, and Maverick. They're also the busiest, but I wouldn't miss any of them. In between these, I'd suggest hitting some of the "2nd tier" coasters. Raptor, Wicked Twister, Magnum xl-200, and Gemini fall in this category according to my highly official rankings. The other ones I really don't bother with anymore. Mantis is a stand up coaster that looks kinda cool but can be quite uncomfortable. Mean Streak is a big wooden coaster that just beats the hell out of you, so I've moved on from that. All the remaining coasters are pretty weak so we don't mess with them. Power tower is a drop type ride thats pretty fun. We usually try and hit our top 3 once or twice a day depending on crowds and spend the rest of the time in between on the "2nd tiers". These all should have comparatively short wait times so it's easy to ride them a bunch of times. Hope that helps let me know if you have any more questions! -
Ralph Wilson Stadium to be Smoke Free
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to Realist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So we're all stupid for drinking alcohol, eating fried food, not getting enough sleep, etc.? I know I'm just playing devil's advocate, but I'm saying just going through life in general on a daily basis is causing permanent, irreversable damage to our vital organs. If someone can scientifically prove that they got cancer or emphysema from second hand smoke for the seven to nine times we are all at the Ralph in a given year, I'll gladly give up my position. Until then, I'll continue to say it may be a nuisance to some, but I believe the outdoor smoking areas should remain in tact. Keep booting out those who light up in the stands, leave the people outside in the smoking areas alone. -

billsfanmiami(oh) replied to Realist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wow, classy response. I'm not even a smoker but I'm glad you immediately jumped to that conclusion. I guess I'm just not very smart because I can walk to the bathroom while catching a whiff of cigarette smoke and not really care. If you have a medical condition that would cause you hyperventilate or something of that nature, then yes I could see your "no tolerance" attitude. If not, I say tough. Like I said, I'm all for kicking out the idiots that light up in the stands. It's unacceptable. For those that are outside in a designated smoking area, I don't see a reason why you or anyone else so strongly opposed could not just avoid the area. I know there are strong and varied opinions on this subject but to puff out your chest and more or less call any smoker and or sympathizer stupid, seems like a pretty shallow argument itself. -
Ralph Wilson Stadium to be Smoke Free
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to Realist's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They already are in Ohio. That includes all the workers at the prison too. As soon as they get onto the property, no smoking. I think it's BS for a CO not be able to go have a smoke in their own car in the parking lot on a break. As for the stadium I'm with the "smoke em if you got em" crowd. Now I can understand no smoking in the stands and booting out people that do. But who's getting hurt by the people out in the open areas having a smoke at halftime? Don't give any BS about second hand smoke either. I'm pretty sure the previous 4 hours of sucking down charcoal grill fumes in the lot is a lot more of a "health risk" than some people lighting up a cig OUTSIDE. What's next banning all grills? -

Love how it was so "embarassing" and traumatizing at the airport in front of a handful of people, but obviously not too embarassing to share the story with a major media outlet from NYC who also puts it out on the internet. -

They are very good. I've only been there once, but if you like cincy style chili, you'll like it. I like Skyline better than Goldstar but would need to try Camp Washington again to see where they fit in the group. -
