Indy and Cleve are no brainers for me living in Columbus OH. Wanted to do Miami again this year but will be just getting back from vacation and too close to Xmas. Looking at maybe SF, NE, or Houston.

I'll be taking a 1/2 day thurs and all day Friday. May make it the inaugural sleeping experience in the RV we bought for the games last year!

A little bummed the game in Miami is on the 23rd. Will be on vacation and not getting back till late on the 22nd but probably wouldn't have made the trip that close to Xmas anyways. Have made it 2 of last 4 years. Looking like my group will maybe shoot for the SF game as our "big" road trip game. Live in Columbus Ohio so Cleveland and Indy games are actually closer for me than heading to the Ralph for all the home games as a season ticket holder. Overall not a bad schedule for me personally may miss one home game (Titans) due to a wedding.

Things You Bought, but Don't Necessarily Need
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to ajzepp's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Got plenty but the most recent major one is the RV that we bought for home games @ The Ralph! Got my eyes on a Camaro sometime in the future too!!! -
I wouldnt say he f bombed the ref. camera panned to him on the bench and you could read his lips saying "that's f'n Bs". Look I'm not saying Cuse wasn't hit with some bogus calls but OSU was also. Can't remember who it was but at one point in first half someone from Cuse took it to the basket and ended up shooting two when there was clearly no contact. The only remotely possible contact came well before the shooting motion even started but dude still was at the line. Craft getting nailed for two fouls in about 20 sec? First one maybe cuz it looked like he got frustrated but second one was BS. Bad officiating all around but Cuse only have themselves to blame for not taking advantage of Sullinger on the pine for most of the first half. OSU was the better team last night and deserved to win.

Still there. Venus is now just a little below and to the side of the moon while jupiter is quite a ways below. Mars still to the east. Astronomy is the **** I'll admit I'm a space nerd. Wife and I honeymooned in French polynesia. Sitting on the deck of our overwater bungalow every night gave us almost surreal views of the sky. We sat out there and drank and just took it all in. Made you feel very small in the universe. Would love to be doing that again on a nights like tonight/last night

Was kind of wondering the same thing. I know the Eagles are paying Peters well to play LT even though Vick is a southpaw. I know Peters came first but it's not like they cut him loose or tried to move him back to RT. Sone of the more knowledgeable posters on here will surely be able to comment more but I think that generally an opposing teams best pass rusher plays the RDE position. Mario thrives at LDE where the Qb can see him beating his man and bearing down on him disrupting his progressions. Its why I really like the fact that we brought on Anderson. If healthy our D line should be very fun to watch.

Bill's turn a corner
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to 7boogiewoogie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Here's a better idea.... Go f"@k yourself! You and anyone else that wants to play Debbie Downer today can kiss my and thousands of other Bills fans asses. Not saying you have to always "drink the koolaid" but "fans" like you that have the "you're sucking it wrong" attitude should pick a new team to root for. -
Mario Williams: Officially a Buffalo Bill

Considering it was posted 11 hours ago and Bills players are saying he is still in town, I'd say it's not current. -

Ditto. Really hoping to hear some good news but my inner Bills fan is telling me to prepare for the worst. -
Niagara Falls Ontario Restaurants
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
If they don't mind dropping some $, I highly recommend "AG" at the Sterling Inn and Spa. Can't remember the street name but it sits right off Clifton Hill. The Fallsview casino is about a 10 minute walk, all the Clifton Hill stuff less than 5. As far as the restaurant, it's very highly rated on TripAdvisor. Wife and I celebrated our anniversary there last fall and loved it. One of the best meals I've ever had. We both did the chef's 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. All the dishes were unique and wonderfully prepared with lots of locally grown/raised items. Great service, ambiance, and overall experience. I'd describe it as "untouristy". Expensive but well worth it! -
have you relocated away from buffalo ?

Another vote for Columbus. Have lived here since graduating undergrad in '06. Wife and her family are from here (Westerville actually), so thats how I ended up here. I like it a lot. Very easy to get around town. Lots of great drinking & dining spots. Some really unique "areas" of the city that can offer very different vibes (German Village, Short North). WInter much milder than Buff or Cleveland being so far off the lake. Still can get some snow but not nearly the amount you see up that way. Temps generally stay warmer later into the fall and get warmer a little earlier in the spring. Ohio State football is king and it's fun to be in a place that is crazy about college football since I was really indifferent to it growing up in WNY. I live in Bexley which is just east of downtown. 5-10 minutes to downtown but its a very nice neighborhood that has a small town feel to it. Houses in this particular area are pricy but you can get a lot for your $ in many of the burbs a little further away (Westerville being one). Economy is better than a lot of other places. Overall a nice all around medium sized city. -
I'm going to be in Amarillo, TX in a couple weeks for work. I'll be making my second visit to the Big Texan Steak ranch while I'm there. I was messing around on their website and was checking out the list of all the people who completed the 72 oz. steak challenge. I scrolled to the bottom and came across a familiar name. http://www.bigtexan.com/72oz%20steak%20eaters.pdf Gotta love it!

This guy's in serious legal trouble
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not going to comment on the legal issues of the whole thing but honestly, if people are really doing this purely because they can't afford the cost of getting it commercially, they have no right to attempt to bring a child into the world. If they're "taking a stand" about the absurd costs of testing and associated BS whatever, but don't make the guy into some kind of hero. -
Stevie Johnson's Facebook entry
billsfanmiami(oh) replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hard to argue with this. Expect some anti-Stevie spin coming from OBD in the offseason saying they have offered him market value and his camp won't negotiate, etc. He'll walk for nothing and flourish for a team like the Lions, Texans, or even Bengals that already have a big physical WR. They'll resign Roscoe for a couple mill and pump Easley up as the next best thing since sliced bread since he has a "new found perspective" on the game due to his health issues. If Chris Brown needs some help on the article, I'd be glad to help. I try to be optomistic about the Bills even though I realize it's not very practical. I enjoy my season tickets and going to an away game or two each year with my friends. It's especially fun for somone like me who has left the area and can reconnect with friends and family and actually get to be somewhere that you're not a novelty for wearing Bills/Sabres stuff. It really does get tough around this time a year though. Another year and another December (even November) of meaningless football. I love the anticipation of a new season cuz there is always that tiny chance we catch lightning in a bottle. 7 weeks ago, I thought we may be one of those teams this year. I travel a lot for work during the offseason months and always look forward to the fall since its football season and I know I will be home. Hopefully one of these days all our loyalty will be rewarded. Sorry for the "deep" rant I'm on vaca and have been drinking! -

Seriously, how is Spencer Johnson our best option at OLB? How can we not sign some young guy off a PS and throw them out there to get at least the same production? -

This defense is just pathetic. It's actually hard to comprehend how bad they are.
